The team recounts the story behind each dish as if it were a prelude to what lies on the plate, an invitation to savor each ingredient and evaluate its quality. This is my second time here, and aside from the tuna, which didn't win me over as I'd hoped, and the linguine, which was a bit heavy on cream cheese, everything else was exquisite and highly appreciated. The best thing that made my heart skip a beat? The lobster croquette (as an appetizer), which in my opinion is a must-try (so much so that the menu recommends eating it last). I highly recommend this place, which, despite the slightly high prices, offers above-average quality. Good value? No, but if you come to eat here, you'll understand the price and end up being satisfied with every euro spent. Everything was perfect, from the carefully designed location to the service that pampers you as if you were part of the family. We will definitely be returning!

20/09/2025: Best seafood dinner of the last year at least!! Refined and delicious dishes, with fresh and flavorful ingredients! The raw fish appetizer is sensational!! I loved the first courses: the pacchero blu with pistachios and red shrimp was fantastic! Impeccable service in a very elegant location! I'm truly satisfied with everything and will definitely be back!!!

15/08/2025: Passing through Varese for an appointment we found the restaurant to be a beautiful location with praiseworthy service and dishes.

10/06/2025: Very good experience in this restaurant with friendly and smiling servers! The food is excellent, the portions are adequate. We ate on the terrace where the atmosphere is really intimate. I recommend without hesitation 👍

11/10/2025: The food was absolutely fine, but as usual, no bread with olive oil was served beforehand. The service was completely unfriendly; you felt like you were supposed to leave immediately, which was also evident in the reactions of other guests. We weren't even thanked for our generous tip. We always go to the pizzeria when we visit Maccagno, but the service and friendliness have never been this bad. We're guests, whether it's peak or off-season, so you can still behave differently. What a shame 🤷‍♂️

14/10/2025: I arrived with my partner without a reservation and we were immediately greeted warmly by the staff who pamper you and make you feel at home. Congratulations! Stunning location, especially the area with the fireplace! Superlative menu with top-quality products! I tried the phenomenal burnt wheat pizza and the delicious pumpkin cheesecake! Highly recommended! 5 stars +++++

06/10/2025: Very refined atmosphere with a few tables inside, and friendly, welcoming staff. I recommend booking in advance to be safe, although I went on a Sunday from around 1:20 PM until 2:00 PM, and there were probably 4-5 tables occupied. I ordered 1L of still water and the Barese pasta made with burnt wheat dough, which was truly excellent. Total: €20

10/10/2025: After a long time, I finally managed to visit this restaurant, and I had a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, small but charming location. What can I say about the food? Delicious and excellent quality. I highly recommend it if you're in Varese.

18/10/2025: Disclaimer: I love this place; we come several times a year. I have no complaints about the quality of the food; on the contrary, it's all delicious, and they were incredibly kind because one of the girls had numerous allergies, so they were very accommodating. This time, however, when we went to the cashier to pay (we each wanted to pay for what we'd consumed, and there were four of us, not ten), the owner told us it wasn't possible: "You've had time to sit down," and that we could settle down later. We stayed longer than the reservation time, that's true. It's also true that if a table had been served, we would have gotten up without a problem, but that wasn't the case. So I don't understand this kind of "retaliation." We'll definitely be back because the food and staff are excellent, but this, to be honest, left us a little perplexed.

14/10/2025: The risottos have become banal and unremarkable. The gnocchi are excellent. The portions are good only on individual plates...while on second and third plates...they're small.

The setting is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained, creating a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The service is impeccable, with a touch of courtesy and a warm, even confidential, yet classy atmosphere. The dishes... it's hard to describe the perfection between presentation, taste, and Quality... and the latter with a capital Q. A paradise for enjoying lunch or dinner for two or with friends. Thank you for existing.

08/10/2025: Elegant and well detailed restaurant , specialised in seafood within lobster batch at the center of dining area. Great crude seafood platter and goof wk e list .I would say a bit expensive especially for lunch time but overall very positive experience . I have tried the linguine with gambero a d nduja and they were excellent .

In summer, eating in the garden is a real pleasure, while in fall, the interior is elegant and welcoming. The kitchen always surprises with some unique dish!!
