04/02/2026: Amazing experience throughout - before entering the restaurant we were greeted by the owners. The service was quick and attentive, food fresh and deliciously served and place had a great vibe where locals seem to attend as well. Staff spoke a good English and were able to recommend a good selection of dishes. Overall highly recommended.

18/03/2026: Among the best pizzas in the area, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is the tables at the entrance, which are very close to the door, but that can be overlooked! Highly recommended.

We ordered a cheese and sausage platter, meat-filled ravioli, pizza with chestnuts, caramelized onions and brie and pizza with buffalo cheese and basil. For dessert we had a warm chocolate cake and a chocolate cake with pears. The dishes were delicious, perfect in terms of seasoning. We enjoyed it very much

The staff was incredibly kind, never intrusive but always present. We ate divinely: traditional dishes revisited with a touch of originality and the freshest ingredients. Excellent value. 27/01/2026: Positive experience. Superb welcome from the owner, who immediately puts you at ease with his simple jokes. There are solutions for every dietary requirement. It's good value for money given the dishes offered. The only flaw, if I had to find one, was that it was a bit cold.

23/01/2026: We went for lunch with friends, quantity is not a priority, but quality is, everything was really good, I can't comment on the price as a friend of ours paid for it and he didn't want to inform us of the cost, however I think it's normal for 1st/2nd course and coffee, I think it's €40/50

The cuisine focuses on homemade potato gnocchi and a long list of risottos, featuring both classic and more creative and seasonal combinations. There are also options for pairing two or three first courses to sample the various products. The first courses are truly excellent, tasty, with local pairings and generous portions. The setting is rustic and very well-kept, the spaces are well-managed, and the atmosphere is truly typical of a cellar, yet refined. The restaurant is very popular, so reservations are highly recommended. Prices are average, especially considering the location in the pedestrian area of ​​Varese, right in the city center. Recommended!

18/01/2026: Wonderful atmosphere, rustic yet elegant. We specifically were in a room with a vaulted ceiling and hanging wine racks, marvelous. The service was impeccable, and especially the food and the staff in the dining room were prompt. Excellent food, generous portions, we shared the appetizer we ordered (a normal person can easily fill up if they eat it alone), and the gnocchi were amazing; after all, Pastificio Dò never disappoints... Special mention for the gnocchi with bottarga, wonderful.

16/02/2026: Crostata is standard, as is linguine with sea carbonara. It's a shame there's no table on the terrace, even though there were two free tables for the entire two hours – not at the front, but on the terrace. It's also a pity the waiter refilled our wine glasses without asking as he walked by. Oh well, at least the village pub has knife rests. There are simpler restaurants that offer a more pleasant dining experience. I've heard the pizza is okay, but there are plenty of good pizzerias around.

02/12/2025: It's a spectacular pizzeria restaurant in every way, with a wonderful view of the lake. Plus, you can walk to the beach directly from the restaurant. I had an incredibly delicious risotto; we had a delicious appetizer and a second course of fish, both excellent and sublime. If you want to make a good impression and eat very well, make a reservation.
