04/05/2026: ---- A Million Reasons Not to Choose Them ---- We had a scandalous experience at the Terraferma restaurant, Via Melchiorre Gioia, 63, Milan. We've been using The Fork for over ten years when traveling, dining out everywhere, and have never been treated with such contempt. After booking with a 50% discount through The Fork, the staff refused to apply the discount to the dishes we had chosen. We selected other dishes out of courtesy, but the disappointment was complete: rubbery veal escalope, tasteless pasta, nothing like the price. When we went to pay, and asked for an explanation and to understand why they wouldn't apply the 50% discount to the dishes we had originally chosen, the waiter became verbally aggressive, telling us to leave the establishment ("get out"), and positioning himself in front of us in an intimidating manner. We reminded them that, during the reservation process, it had never been specified that certain dishes were excluded, only that they were not included in the set menu and drinks were not. But why not clearly state this on TheFork? And it was then, at the time of payment, that they became condescending, refusing any discussion. The person acting as manager (the waitresses had pointed him out to me) couldn't speak properly and only made noises like "sutttt." I was very surprised by his behavior and especially his incompetence. To top off this deplorable experience, after leaving the restaurant, the owner reported to TheFork that we hadn't honored the reservation, which I know to be intentional to prevent any reviews. I will not remain silent: I will report this abuse to TheFork and all restaurant websites as well as on social media, because it is precisely due to such dishonest and unprofessional practices that tourists are being ripped off. Looking closely at the Google reviews, I realized that several tourists had experienced this terrible ordeal. It's very sad the image this restaurant owner has given...

01/05/2026: Their spaghetti with mussels and clams is a must try!!! The noodle texture is perfect 🤌🏻. The service is really good and they serve the food quickly. The lemon sorbet was also really yummy and the texture and taste were on point.

07/03/2026: I was there last night, and despite the late hour, they welcomed us kindly. The guy at the cashier was friendly, and the waiter in the dining room was attentive to our every need. Good fish, nice atmosphere. The price was in line with the dishes we chose. I'd go back!

23/01/2026: We have been dining at this restaurant for years. It never misses a perfect beat on food and service. We usually have dinner here, but on this most recent occasion we had a Sunday lunch, which was super amazing and delicious. We shared the Florentine steak which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We are already looking forward to returning!

21/04/2026: Restaurant with decent food, be careful when ordering shared entrees, as they're portions for at least three people. Service is a bit slow, with courses being served out of sync for everyone at the same table. The place is very noisy. It was a Sunday lunch, and the place was packed.

28/11/2025: The cheese pizza was excellent, the vegetable pizza was average, the risotto was delicious, and the pasta was excellent. I've dined there several times thanks to God and then to the pastry chef, Sharif Al-Masri, who is excellent and very helpful.

16/04/2026: My go-to place for Neapolitan takeout pizza. The pizzas are delicious, well-cooked, and well-topped. If the waitress at the counter were also kind and friendly, everything would be perfect!

11/04/2026: The trattoria certainly has potential, but currently has several issues that compromise the overall experience. The organization leaves much to be desired: the service is confusing and uncoordinated, with wait times that aren't always justified. Another negative is the drinks, which seem watered down and poorly prepared, far from what one would expect even in a casual setting. As for the food, the experience starts out well: the appetizers are tasty and well-prepared, suggesting a high-quality meal. However, from the subsequent courses onward, the quality declines, settling at a decent level but without any particular merits. In short, a trattoria that could significantly improve, especially by working on its organization and consistent quality in the kitchen.
