14/04/2025: Pranzo domenicale, ristorante curato, tavola (finalmente!) ben preparata con tovaglia; servizio discreto e gentile, locale piacevolmente riscaldato vista la giornata. Posto che all’interno è molto carino, atmosfera retrò ma non vecchia. Abbiamo mangiato bene, porzioni giuste, piatti ben preparati e di prezzo corretto, ottimo l’antipasto con l’ovetto. Menzione speciale per il coperto finalmente di prezzo normale (€2,50, ormai una rarità). Carta vini direi fin troppo sterminata con cameriere addetto non ferratissimo ma visto il tipo di locale va benissimo; ottime le etichette e giusti i prezzi. Non so se si sia mantenuto così (non “inflazionato” come altri locali a Milano) perché un po’ defilato, ma in definitiva in base alla nostra esperienza lo consiglio assolutamente.

24/03/2025: absolute masterpiece of a building. the collection for italian design museum is amazing, with very good texts explaining the work. good organisation and a very intuitive way to follow the exhibition. i visited the jürgen teller exhibition there as well, which was one of the greatest exhibitions i have seen (big fan of his work). extraordinary gift shop! the research space is beautiful room with desks and outlets, good to get some work done. great library avalible for the public as well! the cafe, both inside and outside, has good coffee and snacks. the triennale garden is one of my favourite places in milan. i could not recommend this more! if i could visit only one museum in milan, i would make sure its this one.

22/03/2025: Tried this restaurant a few days ago. Despite the nice location, the quality of the fish is terrible (in all the dishes you can taste that they use frozen products) and the service is not very attentive. We had spaghetti with clams and it was pasta, oil, parsley and 10 clams placed on top without flavor (frozen). Also in the Catalan shellfish appetizer there were the classic frozen shrimps from the supermarket together with completely acidic tomatoes. The prices are lower than the average in Milan but if the quality is that I strongly advise against setting foot there and instead buy the fish and shellfish at Esselunga which are much better and cost less. I advise the restaurant to change suppliers (even increasing the prices to the public) to give an acceptable quality to their customers.

08/04/2025: No me avergüenza decir que pedimos demasiado y nos lo comimos todo. La comida era deliciosa, el servicio atento y presente cuando era necesario.

07/04/2025: Peck es maravilloso. Sufre un poco de haber permanecido igual durante muchos años —siento que es menos único de lo que era antes, pero aún tiene maravillosos platos pre-hechos para llevar a casa, excelentes productos y alimentos en conserva, y carne, queso y pan de clase mundial. Su modelo operativo es extraño: si puedes llamar la atención de los muchos asistentes, dejarán tus selecciones a un lado para ti y te entregarán una tarjeta. Lleva esa carta a los mostradores que toman tus decisiones. Y luego tomas la tarjeta y pagas todas tus selecciones. Luego vuelves a cada mostrador con tu recibo, y si puedes llamar la atención de los muchos asistentes, cada uno te dará lo que compraste. El embalaje es tan bonito y bien - ejecutado que te olvidas de pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en la tienda preguntándote si eras invisible. Claramente no aman a los estadounidenses, que es su derecho. Y tiene sentido que quieran cultivar clientes repetidos entre los locales, no con turistas a los que nunca volverán a ver. Pero podrían hacerlo menos obvio con un modelo que me dejara pagar en cada mostrador. La comida es increíble. Lo llevamos de vuelta a nuestros apartamentos y tuvimos una cena maravillosa y nos acostamos temprano.

07/04/2025: We have been back to this restaurant many times and have always been pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was very good and somehow, special, with some special ingredients. The place is very easily accessible, ideally positioned on the pedestrian path, which makes it a pleasant stop after shopping or walking. The staff is always friendly.
