02/04/2024: We stayed here for a night and it was a huge mistake! Should have stayed at least two nights in this lovely hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and they keep on asking if we needed anything. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever we’ll get the chance to be back in lake como.

22/11/2023: We hadn't booked but managed to get a table in the outside conservatory part. Staff were friendly. Cocktails were good. Pizza was delicious and good portion size. From the outside it looked like the nicest place in the area and it didn't disappoint. Would recommend.

04/04/2024: A little too expensive in general. Gluten and lactose free pizza is missing. Good pizzas but in my opinion too "cheesy". Too bad they don't have sweet drinks on tap.

Abbiamo preso vari piatti tra antipasto, primo e secondo ma nessuno era di qualità. Forse è per questo che la maggior parte della gente presente aveva preso la pizza. Magari da riprovare per quella. 04/10/2023: We spent the night in the hotel while walking the Sentiero del Viandante. Excellent location directly on the lake with private beach and jacuzzi overlooking the lake and… sunset. Excellent breakfast, very varied and plentiful. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Rating 10. Too bad we only stayed for one night.

27/02/2024: Chiamiamo domenica per prenotare per una decina di persone per un battesimo e ci risponde una signora che gentilmente ci conferma disponibilità del posto. Chiedo possibilità di opzionare per un giorno che mi viene confermata. Richiamo e mi risponde una signora che abbastanza bruscamente mi dice “impossibile, non prendiamo prenotazioni per gruppi numerosi”. Le faccio presente che una sua collega mi aveva confermato disponibilità qualche giorno prima.. sua risposta “impossibile. Richiami tra 5 (!!!) giorni che verifichiamo ma lo escludo fin da ora” Insomma.. scarsa professionalità, molta scortesia e nemmeno una mezza scusa per aver fatto perdere tempo.

13/10/2023: You can't beat the lakeside view, and you will love the imaginative cuisine. Our dinner included (besides amazing wheat bread) a delicate chanterelle mushroom soup, a wonderful creamy cauliflower vegetable course, and an amazing fresh lake "salmon trout", among other courses on the tasting menu. Wines are delicious. We took the ferry from Bellagio (dinner reservation opens 15 days in advance) and enjoyed the ride over/back and the walk along the lake. A highlight of our trip! Lovely people, delicious food, and a quiet lakeside evening. There are restaurant du lac eateries in almost every town on Lake Como. Be sure to choose the one in Varenna !

11/01/2024: Ho scelto questo Ristorante per condividere in famiglia il pranzo di Natale2023. Conoscevo già il ristorante. Valutando dove trascorrere il Natale abbiamo scelto il Tetto Brianzolo attirati dal menu’, e molto entusiasti dalla tombolata organizzata durante il pranzo tra una portata e l’altra. Siamo stati molto soddisfatti , è stata una giornata molto piacevole e divertente. La calorosa accoglienza della Titolare e del personale, il calore del locale addobbato a festa con gusto. Il divertimento della tombola, il cibo ottimo. Ringrazio tutto lo staff per averci fatto sentire a casa! Lo consiglio vivamente. Ci torneremo presto. 01/01/2024: Cibo di capodanno peggio di una mensa, pasta crudissima e pessima,risotto crudo e mediocre, antipasti e tutto molto scarso ,porzioni da bimbi dell' asilo,vino senza marca portato al tavolo già aperto ,secondi scarsissimi e insapori,musica bella ma volume altissimo,non si è potuto parlare per tutta la serata,cotechino mediocre con un cucchiaio scarso di lenticchie x €105 a testa!

21/11/2023: 很棒的住宿體驗，我們挑選有陽台的房型，房間就在一樓，非常方便。有問題詢問櫃檯人員也很親切的回覆。陽台看出去的景色太美了，我一定會再回來！

09/03/2024: Proprio un bel posticino che merita proprio una bella recensione: piatti valtellinesi buoni e super abbondanti… si esce pieni e se non si finisce tutto si può portare via con schiscetta. Noi abbiamo provato il menù fisso da 30 euro. Torneremo!

17/02/2024: Siamo stati oggi io e il mio compagno a pranzo abbiamo preso il menù da 30€ con antipasto della casa due primi il dolce e coperto… antipasto spettacolare ci ha riempito già quello… poi come primo pizzoccheri e gnocchi con salsiccia funghi e fonduta di taleggio,buonissimi. Non siamo riusciti a finire i pizzoccheri e ci siamo fatti dare la vaschetta per portarli a casa. Personale gentile e molto veloce. Ritorneremo sicuramente!!! Prezzo e qualità, ottimo.

16/10/2023: Lovely restaurant directly overlooking the lake. The prices are a bit steep but in line with the rest of the restaurants in Varenna. Highly recommend their goat cheese salad, I've had it twice already and will be coming back for more on my next trip to Varenna!

28/03/2024: Everything was very good, the treatment was better, and as a gift I gave you some lemonade shots. The pizzas are very well priced!!

02/11/2023: Abbiamo ordinato un menù della montagna, proposto in ottobre. Sciatt, taroz, e bresaola, pizzoccheri, assaggio di formaggi e dolce. Tutto buono, soprattutto i pizzoccheri, gli sciatt e i formaggi. Porzioni abbondante e prezzo contenuto.

27/09/2023: In the 15 minutes we were there 4 tables all got up and left. … 2 without even ordering food and 2 with half eaten meals (which I assume were bad) The waitress was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and abrupt. We eventually managed to order a carafe of wine. When it arrived and we tried to understand the menu she was so rude and arrogant we eventually got up and left. I have no intention spending my hard earned money with some entitled waitress who had no idea of customer service … The only silver lining for this establishment is that they have probably never heard of trip advisor .. I felt really bad for the the young man clearing tables and trying to assist, but the only waitress working was so rude and kept shouting at him. When we left and tried to pay for the few sips of wine we had, the owner felt so bad she told us not to worry.

03/01/2024: Posticino nascosto vicino al Castello di Vizio (un rudere con bel panorama sul lago di Como). Rustico, ben tenuto, pochi piatti tradizionali ma buoni. Famoso per gli sciatt, la polenta con carne, i pizzoccheri. Oggi abbiamo assaggiato il riso in cagnone (cioè bollito) condito con burro e pesce persico. Il persico è venuto un po’ bruciacchiato. Non abbiamo assaggiato i dolci. Il bagno è minuscolo, ce n’è solo uno. Prezzi un filo sopra la media.

03/12/2023: Piccolo ristorante nel centro di un piccolo borgo. Io e mia moglie ci siamo fermati mentre percorrevano la via del Viandante. Diciamo che non è stata un'esperienza speciale: accoglienza non particolarmente gradevole, piatti accettabili, ma nulla di speciale.

22/10/2023: A great cafe with amazing views of the lake! We stopped here for some food and coffee and it didn’t disappoint. We got the carbonara and lasagna and both were delicious. We did notice in the menu they were labeled as “frozen ready meals” which I’m not sure if that means they are premade and heat them up? But the food was still really good so we didn’t mind. Also got this green tea and pistachio ice cream combo which was good but a little overpriced ( 10€ ). All in all though a great place to rest and enjoy the views!

16/10/2023: No sabíamos donde comer y fue todo un acierto, precios razonables, comida excelente y lo mejor las vistas que tienes. Empezamos con una bruschetta con tomate seco, berenjena y pesto que estaba brutal (lo recomiendo muchísimo), seguimos con un plato de pasta boloñesa y un risotto a la milanesa (todo muy rico) y terminamos con un par de cafes. El trato por parte del personal estupendo.
