18/04/2026: I went for lunch today with my husband and they were very welcoming, great atmosphere, beautiful and quiet place with a lake view, excellent food with fresh products, excellent fish, kind and courteous staff, we will be back.

The lasagna was delicious, and my wife's daily special was equally exquisite. High-quality cuisine and attentive service. A must-visit if you're looking for homemade food away from the crowds. 23/05/2026: Excellent value for money. Beautiful location in Collio, facing Lake Como. The ferry to Bellagio departs just across the street (note that on windy days, the ferry frequency is lower than from other locations). The hotel has an excellent restaurant, and many other places to eat are within walking distance. The train station is a 5-minute walk. They have parking 200 meters away. The breakfast is very good, and the service is excellent as well. It's a good option for staying on Lake Como that's not too expensive, quieter, and offers quality service.

23/05/2026: Hotel Risi, a gem right on Lake Como Large and comfortable room, delicious breakfast with everything from sweet to savory, and freshly made cappuccinos, not coffee from machines. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The location is wonderful, right in front of the ferry dock and close to the pedestrian area with many restaurants and a lovely lakeside promenade. A very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

02/06/2026: Local restaurant near the water. Not the most attractive restaurant on the outside, but the food is excellent (especially the pasta carbonara). We also had fish and meat, which were cooked properly. Reasonable prices, friendly service. I would definitely go again for the food, the atmosphere a bit unsettled/crowded.

31/05/2026: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, a warm welcome, and delicious dishes on the menu. A glimpse of the lake view from the tables in the outdoor square... I recommend the "Borgo Belán" Spaghetti. Prices are reasonable.

14/05/2026: Wonderful hotel in the sweet spot of Lake Como: Varenna. Sure it’s pricey; sure the rooms are small (welcome to Europe!) but the location can’t be beat. The staff are excellent. The breakfast was on point for a 4-star hotel. We were able to have our private boat pick us up at their dock. We will be back!

13/05/2026: Exquisite service and exception cuisine! We had dinner in the Victoria Grill courtyard "greenhouse" last March, just before the season officially began. We shared several appetizers, the salmon and other dishes that were expertly prepared and simply delicious. I cannot wait to return! Also, the next afternoon, Paula and Mauro were kind enough to box up some desserts for our journey to Milan - the baba is a must try! The service combined with the exceptional food quality makes the Royal Victoria Grill a destination!

19/04/2026: A great place for a stroll by the lake and a dinner that's not cheap but offers good value. The gluten-free pizzas are also delicious!

05/05/2026: The pizza was clearly frozen, the first and second courses were perhaps better, and the service was rude.

10/04/2026: We spontaneously decided to visit on our motorcycle. There was plenty of parking available. Great view, delicious food, and very friendly hosts.

02/06/2026: They have a nice garden out back, saw some swans! I’d skip the influencer gate, that line looked crazy!

30/05/2026: We came to Villa Cipressi for a 2-night stay. We were actually very happy with our room, but the last night we tried to go to sleep at 10 before an early morning departure. The wedding party on Thursday was so loud that sleep wasn’t possible. On top of that, the fire alarm went off. When I spoke with the on-duty staff, I was told the music would end at 11. In addition, because of weddings at the hotel both days, key parts of the grounds were blocked off to guests. The next morning at checkout, the front desk employee apologized for disruption. Said they were trying to get away from old contracts that had music stopping at 11. Moving forward they are ending music at 9. My advice is to check what events are booked during your stay and how long music is allowed.
