25/01/2026: I made a reservation for four people by phone, but once we got to the restaurant, no one knew about it. The receptionist didn't even know the restaurant's phone number, so just in case I'd made the wrong reservation, I called the number I had used for the reservation... the number was correct. We quickly had to wait for a table, and they already lost points. We ate four pizzas that weren't good at all, and...paying for four pizzas, three beers, one spritz, two coffees, and two liqueurs, was €91. A bit too much. In any case, their approach may be fine for foreign tourists...
I'd like to point out that everyone may or may not like whatever they eat; it depends on their personal tastes... it's a shame that I'm a chef first and foremost, and I've also worked as a pizza chef, and since I ate and ordered four pizzas, I think they could have been made better. Not to mention, the pizza dough needs fixing... I'm 57 years old and I've been in the business for a long time... I've also managed a restaurant, I know there will always be someone who won't be happy, but there's always room for improvement.

16/11/2025: We stayed at this property for one night, and, aside from its location, I believe it doesn't even begin to meet the standards of a true four-star establishment. The room, advertised as "Superior," featured a double bed that was actually two single beds joined together with only a bedspread, an unacceptable solution for the category and price. Furthermore, we found the room to be poorly cleaned, with visible dust buildup especially on the coat hangers and the sealed toiletries. The hotel advertises a 24-hour reception, but when we requested a late checkout (even for a surcharge) on the morning of our departure, we were incomprehensibly told that "THE HOTEL CLOSES ON SUNDAYS AND WE COULD ONLY DELAY 30 MINUTES," raising serious concerns about the hotel's management and essential services. The breakfast service also proved lacking: although the receptionist claimed it was available until 10:30, when we arrived at 10:00, the selection was extremely limited. I understand the challenges of the low season, but this isn't a marginal reduction in service, but rather a lack of minimum standards of hospitality and cleanliness consistent with a 4-star rating. An urgent review of the standards offered is needed.
29/10/2025: Renovated room. Varied and complete breakfast. Lake view and close to the lakeside promenade. Easy parking at the hotel. Charming staff.

20/06/2025: Qué maravilloso hallazgo. Simplemente soberbio. El cerdo ibérico estaba particularmente delicioso y la pavlova para terminar. Personal encantador, decoración y ambiente! Probablemente nuestra mejor comida en Desenzano...
20/06/2025: Comida encantadora, servicio discreto, vale la pena una visita, un poco caro pero muy bueno, la señora que lo dirige claramente se enorgullece de hacer que la gente se sienta bienvenida que es en realidad lo que sucedió. Recomendaría

02/06/2025: Spinti dalle recensioni positive abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo domenicale in visita dalle parti del lago di Garda.
Tutto decisamente ottimo, dagli antipasti (abbiamo preso un tris di tartare di pesce) al primo consigliato dallo chef, rigorosamente a base di pesce. Nota di merito anche per il dolce, fresco e fatto in casa.
Servizio preciso, consigli accurati sulla scelta del vino e dei piatti.
Qualità-prezzo molto buona avendo mangiato pesce fresco: un antipasto, due primi, due dolci e una bottiglia di vino per 55€ a testa.
15/05/2025: Pranzo di lavoro a 18€ con a scelta anche piatti di pesce; bello e accogliente il locale, personale gentile, tovagliato di tessuto, ottimi i paninetti di vari gusti serviti tiepidi.

23/10/2025: It was okay, but a total rip-off. €3.50 per person for sitting in a drafty spot—they call it a "flat rate" here. We had to pay for two bottles of water we didn't even order. They didn't let us down even after arguing. The waitress was incredibly rude. She kept trying to talk us into more, even though we refused. After that, she didn't serve us again and just gave us dirty looks. You should have some money if you want to eat in. A shame.
21/10/2025: Delicious food and dessert. The best tiramisu I've ever had! Great service.

08/01/2026: I wasn't expecting such a welcoming and clean place. The service was friendly and helpful. The dishes we ordered were delicious: polenta and lake fish, a trio of polenta and sauces, and a plate of paccheri with fish. Everything was good, even the timing of the dishes.
15/12/2025: Awful. Expensive and the worst meal of my life. I absolutely do not recommend it. Awful. Pasta with ketchup? Seriously… And they gave us a supposed seafood dish from the lake, but it was a frozen fish head that tasted terrible. The worst in Italy.

15/07/2025: Siamo passati tante volte davanti a questo ristorante ed ho sempre pensato di volerlo provare. Avevo ragione! Abbiamo mangiato bene, in tranquillità, accolti e serviti con cortesia e vista lago. Pesce fresco, buon vino e conto adeguato. Siamo già stati due volte e ci torneremo presto!
22/06/2025: Durante un mio soggiorno per lavoro, mi è stato consigliato sia come ristorante che come pizzeria.
Nel mio caso ho optato per la ristorazione.
Cibo buono, personale molto cortese, ambiente discreto.
Consigliato!

The staff was always courteous and helpful, ensuring impeccable service. The atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a quality dining experience.
12/09/2025: Just had the value menu - absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money! Service was friendly and welcoming. Selected the local wine, Benaco Bresciano Rosso, and was not disappointed. Meal for two with wine was £65. Location is next to the main road but it did not spoil our experience.

This kind of disappointment happens when you don't read reviews beforehand... Even one star is too much here!
The food was like something you'd find in a bad cafeteria: grilled vegetables consisted of three warmed zucchini slices with a little bread. The homemade lasagna was also microwaved, as it was still partially frozen inside. Let's not even talk about the taste.
Never again!

The visit was already at the beginning of April 2025.
This experience teaches us again that reviews do have a certain amount of significance.
Firstly, the wait time for the food is exorbitant. Even though we were the only guests at the time. It wasn't yet the season.
Ordered homemade lasagna - lukewarm and there were several bones in it!!!
After complaining and without comment, the second homemade lasagna arrived an eternity later. This one was boneless, but still completely frozen inside!!!
And I had to wait about 20 minutes for that.
My partner had ordered grilled vegetables and received them in the meantime.
Mind you - the meal consisted of 3 lukewarm zucchini strips and some bread.
When we brought this up, of course, they suddenly couldn't understand us anymore. So I switched to Italian, and the waiter suddenly became embarrassed.
By the way, the boss/manager or whatever that person is, who ultimately gets the money, behaved so inappropriately. He stood at the front of the building with dubious characters the whole time, smoking nonstop, and making fun of the "German guests." Too bad I understand the language.
At least I didn't have to pay for the lasagna. Which I would have refused anyway. Ultimately, we left the store hungry and with a life lesson.
PLEASE - GO EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLEASE!

29/06/2025: Este fue un gran hallazgo, lejos de la locura junto al lago y algunos de los restaurantes centrados en el turismo. Está en la esquina de una plaza y la noche que la encontramos había una banda tocando y el ambiente era genial.
Cenamos, el menú no es enorme, pero todavía era difícil de elegir, ya que todo parecía delicioso. Luego está la carta de vinos, que es vasta, pero el personal es increíblemente bien informado y ayudará con las selecciones con su plato. Después de nuestra primera comida que reservamos para más tarde en la semana (nuestro aniversario de boda), pero no podíamos esperar tanto para volver así que tuvimos otra visita antes de entonces!
Durante las 3 visitas tuvimos chapuzones, varios platos de pasta, bistec, bolas de berenjena y postres, todos los cuales eran increíbles. También creo que tuve la mejor botella de prosecco durante nuestra visita a este restaurante. La pasta de sardina es una especialidad y las alcaparras fritas en ella eran increíbles!
El equipo allí es bien informado y servicial, hablan buen inglés y se siente como un lugar muy hogareño, tradicional.

El aperitivo era bueno, pero la red / prima piatti era un poco soso.
Tiramisu sabía bien!
Creo que los precios están alineados con la comida

24/05/2025: Ristorantino semplice ma curato in cui già in passato avevamo mangiato bene. Il menu di pesce di lago ci ha deliziati. Perfetto il vino proposto. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La cortesia e professionalità del personale è un plus (non si trova facilmente una addetta alla sala così solerte e gentile). La simpatia travolgente del gestore fa il resto! Arrivederci a presto! Ora è sempre…Rombo di Tuono!
10/04/2025: Cercato (e trovato) un ristorante per cena e chiacchiere con amici. Piatti ottimi, pesce di lago servito benissimo, primi di buona qualità. Consigliato per mangiare bene senza “spendere” per la vista lago - anche se il lago è letteralmente a due passi!
