07/06/2026: The service and location are worthy of a trattoria and cooperative, which can also be interesting for a tourist to try, BUT the price of the dishes is decidedly that of a high-end restaurant with a certain level of service! So, go into a trattoria and you'll pay like a Michelin-starred restaurant!

07/06/2026: We arrived at the restaurant for lunch half an hour early, and despite the fact that there were no other customers and the place was completely empty, they wouldn't let us sit. A decidedly unpromising start. Our order was taken by an elderly gentleman with a disagreeable and unfriendly attitude. We'd been warned that Ligurians might not be the friendliest people in the world, but working in the restaurant industry, one would expect at least a basic level of courtesy and hospitality. From there, an exhausting wait: over an hour and a half for the first course. We ordered a fried dish that the menu promised calamari, shrimp, and mixed seafood, but there wasn't even a hint of calamari on the plate. I've had much better fried dishes, and at much more reasonable prices. When the first courses arrived, we were completely disappointed. This cuisine pretends to be homemade, but in reality it's just overdone with too much spice. The fish was certainly fresh, but unfortunately it hadn't been cleaned properly, an unacceptable detail in a seafood restaurant. To finish, we each ordered a dessert, which was edible only because, fortunately, it wasn't homemade. The final report was disastrous, further exacerbated by the indigestion that followed in the afternoon. I strongly advise against this place: save your time and spend your money somewhere much better.

02/06/2026: We booked a table because the rustic atmosphere appealed to us. When we entered, the restaurant was practically empty, with only a couple of tables outside. After a long time, we ordered, basically one dish each, nothing too demanding. After an hour, we still hadn't been served, and since we were part of an organized trip, time was starting to get tight. Finally, the dishes arrived, one by one, except for a fried fish. Meanwhile, a table that had arrived after us had lunch, paid, and then left. The gentleman who had been waiting for the fried fish, disconsolately, seeing a plate pass by, exclaimed, "That's mine!" I repeat, there were no tables in the room when we arrived. The owner intervened in defense of the waitress, accusing us of being rude. We, who had been waiting for over an hour... Speechless... Furthermore, the fried fish they then served us was inedible. The anchovies hadn't been gutted, so they tasted bitter. We're from Viareggio, accustomed to eating fried anchovies in one bite. The shrimp had the intestines intact, and they hadn't been cleaned either. I think more professionalism and a polite attitude would be the minimum for a restaurant in the historic center of Albenga. I think this is currently a place to avoid.

29/05/2026: Typical Italian cuisine, great pizzas! The tuna was amazing! We ate here all week. The owner is a bit reserved.

15/05/2026: The food was very modest. The mussels had a strange taste. Unfortunately, the other dishes were also nothing special. The waiter didn't know the food and confused it.

14/05/2026: The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered pizzas and meat dishes: nothing special, so it's difficult to give it more than 3 stars. It's just another restaurant among many others on the Alassio seafront.

02/06/2026: Very nice place and very friendly staff. The problem is the kitchen. At the neighboring tables, the dishes arrived one at a time, which immediately put me on alert. We ordered appetizers and a main course. Incredibly, the first course arrived an hour and a quarter after ordering, and the second after another hour. As I feared, they arrived a few minutes apart, so while someone was finishing their meal, someone else still didn't have their plate. Considering there were only four tables with a total of 25 seats, the wait was decidedly excessive. Moving on to the quality of the food, I ordered the trio of fried anchovies, which became a second order with the addition of fried porcini mushrooms that I hadn't requested. The pasta with clams was bland, and I doubt the clams were fresh (they weren't bad, just flavorless). There was no asterisk on the menu indicating the use of frozen ingredients, so I assumed they were fresh. Unfortunately, the quality-price ratio of this restaurant leaves much to be desired.

30/05/2026: Nice place, more or less treated like dirt, we waited an hour, without anyone telling us anything about the delay, not even apologizing, we waited and asked for explanations but nothing was told that everything was arriving, nothing, we got up and went to pay for the bottle we ordered and said that due to the long wait (it was 10:20 pm) we would have to leave... and we were literally attacked by the owner, saying that we shouldn't have taken a train and other disgusting phrases... I conclude that we too are people who work but if you don't know how to do your job it's better to change and do something else!! Shameful and not at all!!!

07/03/2026: It's a must to leave a review, I'm not used to it... but this time it comes straight from the heart. Farinata was excellent, exceptional... I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. Much appreciated by the refined palates of two little girls. Thank you for your exquisite kindness. Congratulations to everyone! See you soon

28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!

12/06/2026: Kind and welcoming. The beach prices seemed fair considering what they offered. I should point out that we went there on June 4th, which was a Thursday.

02/06/2026: We stayed at this beach. We encountered several difficulties, starting with the parking lot. They made us drive up a hill with very tall grass, and it took about 15 minutes to get there. You have to wait for the shuttle because it only leaves every half hour. The beach had hot showers available for a fee, but the water was cold, not to mention the bathrooms, which were absolutely filthy and, despite everything, the beach staff were very rude. We will never return.

The fish was top-quality, cooked with exquisite care and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back!
