12/07/2026: I hadn't eaten so well in ages! My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant, where a very kind waitress greeted us immediately, even bringing water for my dog. We ate raw fish, and my partner cooked. What can I say? Every dish left us wanting more. Authentic flavors and fresh fish! Well done! I'll definitely be back.

26/07/2026: If you want to eat with your feet in the sand, pampered by a magical atmosphere and truly excellent food, from pizza to the always meticulously prepared and delicious dishes, Alassio has a place to go: Clapsy. I return as often as I can, and every experience confirms the extraordinary quality of this place. A special memory goes to a particularly difficult time for me, when I had to eat completely salt-free: the staff literally went out of their way to accommodate me, offering alternatives that were not only suitable, but incredibly tasty and beautiful to look at. This genuine attention to the customer truly makes the difference. Huge applause goes to the entire staff: welcoming, kind, and coordinated by a wonderful team spirit and collaboration that is heartwarming. A special mention goes to Vincenzo, a cheerful and professional guy I'd love to find wherever I go! Prices? Perhaps a little high for someone like me on a normal salary (I admit, with a few euros less, I'd be there every week!), but the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the emotional setting absolutely make the experience worthwhile. ​Heartfelt congratulations to the owners and the entire fantastic team. Just one piece of advice for anyone reading: book early, because such a special place is rightly always beloved!

12/06/2026: We have been coming here since 2016. Every time we are in the area, we come to eat. Everything here is fresh and tastes delicious. I have been a fan of the pizza frutti de mar for years. My husband discovered the risotto frutti de mar. The fresh or grilled fish is also always a nice touch. Even though prices have risen considerably in recent years, it is still cheaper than back home. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. We choose the street side, even though the garden is also a pleasant spot in good weather.

02/06/2026: We stopped by chance, and the welcome, even though we hadn't booked, was exemplary (something that's now obsolete). The Margherita pizza was truly delicious (in its simplicity), the crust very unique and crispy. The mixed grilled fish was unexpectedly rich and delicious, at a fair price. Although it may seem like a "tourist trap," we truly enjoyed our stay in the warmth of a traditional and down-to-earth establishment. Restaurant, quiet, just what you need at the right time. 02/06/2026: Very nice place and very friendly staff. The problem is the kitchen. At the neighboring tables, the dishes arrived one at a time, which immediately put me on alert. We ordered appetizers and a main course. Incredibly, the first course arrived an hour and a quarter after ordering, and the second after another hour. As I feared, they arrived a few minutes apart, so while someone was finishing their meal, someone else still didn't have their plate. Considering there were only four tables with a total of 25 seats, the wait was decidedly excessive. Moving on to the quality of the food, I ordered the trio of fried anchovies, which became a second order with the addition of fried porcini mushrooms that I hadn't requested. The pasta with clams was bland, and I doubt the clams were fresh (they weren't bad, just flavorless). There was no asterisk on the menu indicating the use of frozen ingredients, so I assumed they were fresh. Unfortunately, the value for money at this restaurant leaves much to be desired.

27/06/2026: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time today. We were already pleasantly surprised the first time. We loved the location and the mascot (that seagull is always there 🤣). The fish was fresh, the service was attentive and friendly, the prices were average, and they even offered us limoncello. We'll be back!

24/06/2026: I spent three days in Spotorno with my mom and we always had lunch here because we absolutely fell in love. The food was excellent, the girls serving were very nice and attentive, especially Michela, who always treated us with kindness and professionalism. All the dishes were truly well-made and delicious. I highly recommend it ❤️

I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. 28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!

Breakfast was fresh and varied, with quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. The location was also ideal—convenient yet peaceful, perfect for both exploring and relaxing. Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.
