07/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, but it was immediately love at first sight. The restaurant's location is very down-to-earth, but on the other hand, you're right on the beach, just steps from the sea. It's truly stunning. The food is stellar, the staff is amazing, I tried the pasta with shrimp and zucchini, amazingly fresh, what a taste! And then a wonderful fried fish dish, plentiful and delicious. The fresh fish was delicious. The owner was very kind in finding us a table even though we hadn't booked, thank you so much. My recommendation: go! P.S. The wine and spirits are also good.

03/02/2026: The quality and freshness of the fish is excellent...it's worth queuing for... I recommend the numbered tickets, like at the post office. Jokes aside, I highly recommend it. The price is also super affordable.

29/11/2025: This is the second time my family and I have visited this wonderful restaurant. Today my kids had pizza, while my husband and I had the fish menu. I can only confirm my first experience: a truly charming place, excellent food, and friendly, impeccable staff. Not to mention the owner, who is the real highlight. Highly recommended for the excellent food and very fair prices.

07/03/2026: Everything was very good, but nothing exceptional. I'd gladly return to try the pizzas. I would have preferred the carbonazza with the egg cooked more. All the farinata dishes were very good (the pork one a little less so), the fish was a little tough, and the rabbit was excellent. The last room was perhaps a little colder, but without the cooking smells. Acceptable bulk wine, competitive prices. Parking was easy.

24/09/2025: I've never eaten at a beach restaurant, but the person inviting us had decided to do so... I have to say the basics were there: I would have perhaps avoided too much fried sage in the stuffed anchovies and would have preferred tagliolini instead of scialatielli. By the way, my grandmother, a Genoese woman, used to bake anchovies stuffed with chard and other ingredients, leaving them whole. Are the "cigar-shaped" and fried ones a local variation?

05/04/2026: Stay away, tourist trap. I haven't had such a bad experience in years; I don't even know where to begin listing the countless things wrong with this "restaurant," if you can call it that. Interminable service with incorrect and forgotten orders, grossly inadequate value for money (a scant 100 grams of burnt swordfish with fries for €19). Dishes listed on the menu were revisited with little imagination by the chef, with extremely disappointing results. Fried artichokes were offered off-menu; three artichokes halved and fried for a whopping €12 per plate. I strongly advise against it; one of the worst experiences in recent years. €74 for two subpar main courses, two artichoke appetizers, a focaccia, and two Cokes. Never again, and I recommend going elsewhere. Stay away, tourist trap. 07/03/2026: It's a must to leave a review, I'm not used to it... but this time it comes straight from the heart. Farinata was excellent, exceptional... I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. 28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!

15/03/2026: We ordered fish soup and, sadly, after half an hour, we only received empty shellfish with plenty of bread. The cost was €30 per person. Be careful, folks, it's a disgrace. We've been coming to Alassio for seven years, but we've never had anything like this in a restaurant. Never again, Ristorante Clapsy.

I received a plate of dry rice (not sushi rice) without salmon, tuna, or feta. When I asked why, I was given a strange explanation. Very disappointing. In the end, I had to lug my own bike upstairs; the courtesy was gone...

21/09/2025: A measly one-star restaurant, with a menu displayed on the waterfront.... We booked a dinner menu, but had to order pizza! The kitchen was "sold out," with no food!!! They should have just let us know when we booked. Disrespectful!!!

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....
