07/03/2026: Everything was very good, but nothing exceptional. I'd gladly return to try the pizzas. I would have preferred the carbonazza with the egg cooked more. All the farinata dishes were very good (the pork one a little less so), the fish was a little tough, and the rabbit was excellent. The last room was perhaps a little colder, but without the cooking smells. Acceptable bulk wine, competitive prices. Parking was easy.

23/06/2026: Beautiful restaurant located in the charming town of Noli. The menu offers a wide variety of pasta dishes and fresh seafood options. A great place to enjoy local Italian cuisine in a lovely setting.

12/06/2026: We have been coming here since 2016. Every time we are in the area, we come to eat. Everything here is fresh and tastes delicious. I have been a fan of the pizza frutti de mar for years. My husband discovered the risotto frutti de mar. The fresh or grilled fish is also always a nice touch. Even though prices have risen considerably in recent years, it is still cheaper than back home. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. We choose the street side, even though the garden is also a pleasant spot in good weather.

02/06/2026: We stopped by chance, and the welcome, even though we hadn't booked, was exemplary (something that's now obsolete). The Margherita pizza was truly delicious (in its simplicity), the crust very unique and crispy. The mixed grilled fish was unexpectedly rich and delicious, at a fair price. Although it may seem like a "tourist trap," we truly enjoyed our stay in the warmth of a traditional and down-to-earth establishment. Restaurant, quiet, just what you need at the right time. Congratulations!

27/06/2026: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time today. We were already pleasantly surprised the first time. We loved the location and the mascot (that seagull is always there 🤣). The fish was fresh, the service was attentive and friendly, the prices were average, and they even offered us limoncello. We'll be back!

24/06/2026: I spent three days in Spotorno with my mom and we always had lunch here because we absolutely fell in love. The food was excellent, the girls serving were very nice and attentive, especially Michela, who always treated us with kindness and professionalism. All the dishes were truly well-made and delicious. I highly recommend it ❤️

02/06/2026: Very nice place and very friendly staff. The problem is the kitchen. At the neighboring tables, the dishes arrived one at a time, which immediately put me on alert. We ordered appetizers and a main course. Incredibly, the first course arrived an hour and a quarter after ordering, and the second after another hour. As I feared, they arrived a few minutes apart, so while someone was finishing their meal, someone else still didn't have their plate. Considering there were only four tables with a total of 25 seats, the wait was decidedly excessive. Moving on to the quality of the food, I ordered the trio of fried anchovies, which became a second order with the addition of fried porcini mushrooms that I hadn't requested. The pasta with clams was bland, and I doubt the clams were fresh (they weren't bad, just flavorless). There was no asterisk on the menu indicating the use of frozen ingredients, so I assumed they were fresh. Unfortunately, the value for money at this restaurant leaves much to be desired.

15/05/2026: The food was very modest. The mussels had a strange taste. Unfortunately, the other dishes were also nothing special. The waiter didn't know the food and confused it.

14/05/2026: The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered pizzas and meat dishes: nothing special, so it's difficult to give it more than 3 stars. It's just another restaurant among many others on the Alassio seafront.

02/06/2026: We booked a table because the rustic atmosphere appealed to us. When we entered, the restaurant was practically empty, with only a couple of tables outside. After a long time, we ordered, basically one dish each, nothing too demanding. After an hour, we still hadn't been served, and since we were part of an organized trip, time was starting to get tight. Finally, the dishes arrived, one by one, except for a fried fish. Meanwhile, a table that had arrived after us had lunch, paid, and then left. The gentleman who had been waiting for the fried fish, disconsolately, seeing a plate pass by, exclaimed, "That's mine!" I repeat, there were no tables in the room when we arrived. The owner intervened in defense of the waitress, accusing us of being rude. We, who had been waiting for over an hour... Speechless... Furthermore, the fried fish they then served us was inedible. The anchovies hadn't been gutted, so they tasted bitter. We're from Viareggio, accustomed to eating fried anchovies in one bite. The shrimp had the intestines intact, and they hadn't been cleaned either. I think more professionalism and a polite attitude would be the minimum for a restaurant in the historic center of Albenga. I think this is currently a place to avoid.

29/05/2026: Typical Italian cuisine, great pizzas! The tuna was amazing! We ate here all week. The owner is a bit reserved.

12/06/2026: Kind and welcoming. The beach prices seemed fair considering what they offered. I should point out that we went there on June 4th, which was a Thursday.

02/06/2026: We stayed at this beach. We encountered several difficulties, starting with the parking lot. They made us drive up a hill with very tall grass, and it took about 15 minutes to get there. You have to wait for the shuttle because it only leaves every half hour. The beach had hot showers available for a fee, but the water was cold, not to mention the bathrooms, which were absolutely filthy and, despite everything, the beach staff were very rude. We will never return.

07/03/2026: It's a must to leave a review, I'm not used to it... but this time it comes straight from the heart. Farinata was excellent, exceptional... I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. 28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!

Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.
