19/01/2026: I discovered it thanks to a friend who knew this place, the first course was excellent: trenette with pesto, potatoes and green beans, and the sausage with chips, which was really good. The owners were exquisite and kind, and I will definitely go back even without her.

15/01/2026: The restaurant is small and welcoming; it was busy, so I ate lunch on the pleasant, well-heated veranda overlooking the square. The menu is full of appealing dishes, both Ligurian and otherwise, from appetizers to desserts. I ordered the house tapas appetizer (consisting of seven delicious selections) and then the tripe (amazing, with beans, potatoes, carrots, etc.). By the time I decided on dessert, I was full (the neighboring table was raving about it). Excellent coffee to finish. The bill was fair: €41.
In conclusion: an excellent experience, enhanced by the friendly and efficient manager.
Highly recommended!

08/11/2025: I've been going to Vecchio Mercato for almost twenty years, and it's become a trusted name in my opinion. Probably the best pizza you'll find within a radius of several kilometers. Service is basic but courteous and fast, and the place is traditional and welcoming. I highly recommend the French fries, a must for any diner!

02/01/2026: We had a delicious meal. We only ordered vegetarian dishes (spaghetti and ravioli, salad, and dessert), which were very fresh and authentically Italian. The service was friendly but reserved; it was admirable how the owner managed everything single-handedly. Excellent value for money! The only downside was the ambiance, as it was quite chilly in the restaurant (in January). The background music was also interesting – hard rock! 😆👍
13/10/2025: A well-known restaurant with consistently delicious, well-crafted dishes. Reasonable value for money. Excellent dinner sitting outside in the small alleyway. It's a shame that, since the tables aren't covered, a pigeon didn't try to ruin my dinner, just my shirt! First course with squid ink and fried seafood with a few vegetables.

04/01/2026: At 1:45 PM, we stopped for lunch. Given the time, they asked for a half-hour wait, but it turned out to be 40-45 minutes.
The restaurant is of a good standard, with a window overlooking the sea offering a fantastic view.
The food is excellent, expertly prepared with quality ingredients.
I gave the service 3 stars not because of the kindness and professionalism of the staff, but because they seated us at a "wobbly" table that turned out to be a camping table placed next to a laundry basket overflowing with tablecloths ready for the wash. I believe that any customer going to a restaurant where a course costs an average of €25 has the right to eat at a real table without mountains of dirty tablecloths next to them.
31/12/2025: This time we went for breakfast. Sirio is always a sure thing. If you're passing through Spotorno and need breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't choose better than Sirio! Impeccable service (smiling and friendly waiters) and a stunning location: what more can I say?

Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a few important aspects: they served an expired Coke can, and the glass wasn't clean, something that should never happen in a place like this.
The price is quite high, but it's still in line with the type of place and location.
Overall, a place with great potential, which could offer a much better experience with greater attention to service quality and detail.

29/11/2025: This is the second time my family and I have visited this wonderful restaurant. Today my kids had pizza, while my husband and I had the fish menu. I can only confirm my first experience: a truly charming place, excellent food, and friendly, impeccable staff. Not to mention the owner, who is the real highlight. Highly recommended for the excellent food and very fair prices.
