The food is always excellent, the location has a stunning view, and the service is fast and friendly... but they've raised the prices WAY too high! 25 euros for a plate of tagliolini with seafood (delicious), 10 euros for half a liter of house wine, 8 euros for a tiramisu in a small glass, 7 euros for a small plate of sautéed chicory. Bottom line: for three of us, eating a total of an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, three desserts, half a liter of house wine, a mineral water, and a coffee... 152 euros, or 50 euros each. Madness! The food was very good, but it's no longer the Amedeo vegetable garden it once was. It's still a very good osteria, but with prices of a 4-star restaurant.

24/02/2026: JOAN'S FOOD REVIEW A group of friends from Torelló went. A very charming restaurant; we ate on the terrace, facing the sea. The €25 set menu included coffee, drinks were extra, and bread was also extra. First course: spaghetti with seafood, delicious, but a touch of pepper was a bit too much for me. Second course: mixed fried fish, very tasty.

16/02/2026: Beautiful, traditional, and family-friendly place. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good, traditional dishes that aren't too expensive, excellent value for money. I had the linguine allo scoglio, which was delicious and buttery; my girlfriend had the penne all'arrabbiata, which tasted more like penne all'aglione than all'arrabbiata, given the amount of garlic in it, but still very good. The pizzas were very tasty and had excellent leavening, being soft and fluffy. It's a shame that the service could be improved; it was a bit chaotic, but otherwise, nothing to complain about.

12/02/2026: I ate here very quickly on a business trip, and I have to say it's a great spot on the city's charming, brightly lit main street, crowded with tourists. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely return.

10/01/2026: This restaurant felt racially discriminatory and was completely unfriendly to Chinese people. At first, I thought they were just too busy and forgot, but it turned out to be blatant racial discrimination. From the moment they led us to our seats, they completely forgot about us. We waited for almost half an hour without receiving a menu; we had to ask for it ourselves! Bread and other dishes also took an incredibly long time, even after we reminded them. We ended up having to go to the counter to get them. Meanwhile, other tables received everything they wanted, and the staff clearly came to check on things, yet we didn't even get a menu? The most baffling thing was that I ordered Moscardini in umido con riso, but what arrived was just random octopus and potatoes? (The next table clearly had small octopus and rice.) When we complained to the staff, she told us it was a translation problem, and that's how rice is supposed to look. But we were so hungry we didn't want to argue anymore, so we finished eating in About ten minutes later, we arrived. Attached was the restaurant's menu in three languages. Was I mistaken, or was my Google search wrong? Are they riso and riz potatoes? Why is there a translation problem when it comes to us? Although it was recommended by a supermarket clerk, and seeing so many people dining there made me think it must be good, I really shouldn't have disregarded the reviews. This is the first time I've encountered a restaurant like this in two weeks in Italy—quite an interesting experience! 🤡 It felt like a racist restaurant, completely unfriendly to Chinese people. 09/01/2026: This was an extremely disappointing dining experience. From the beginning, the staff showed a clear lack of effort—pretending not to understand us, delaying our order, and taking an unreasonable amount of time to serve our food. Their attitude toward us was noticeably different from how they treated other customers, which raised serious concerns about unfair treatment. More importantly, the dish we received did NOT match the menu description. To be absolutely clear: the menu translation was correct and clearly written. There was no translation mistake. The problem was that the staff prepared a dish that did not match the menu, and when we pointed this out, instead of apologizing or fixing the issue, they shifted the blame to a so-called “menu translation error.” This was unprofessional and unacceptable. Throughout the entire experience, there was no accountability, no respect, and no attempt to resolve the situation. This went beyond poor service—it left us feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. I will not return and strongly do not recommend this restaurant.

26/07/2025: Ristorante pizzeria in una via un po fuori dal centro di monterosso con un menù a base di pesce e qualche altro piatto ed è pure pizzeria. Ho mangiato una insalata di polipo eccezionale gustosa e abbondante accompagnata da una vellutata di patate buonissima. Poi trofie con pesto e patate veramente buone. Peccato per le cozze ripiene da cui mi aspettavo di più in quanto si sentiva solo il ripieno molto abbondante e le cozze così sono sparite. Peccato perché avrei dato volentieri il punteggio più alto Servizio puntuale e cordiale. Prezzi nella media per queste località

02/11/2025: My husband and I went to eat. We entered the restaurant and for 20 minutes no one was seen... at a certain point I went into the kitchen to see if at least the chef was present. We glossed over it... we ordered two grilled dishes... a plate arrived with 1 tiny sausage, a small piece of dry and unchewed chicken and a small piece of invisible meat, a small plate of chips as hard as cod... a small dessert for the beauty of 43 euros per person... to get the bill we had to call them twice because they were in the kitchen chatting. Negative experience.

22/10/2025: Me and my wife got two different dishes, Pasta carbonara and Seafood salad. My carbonara was overcooked and the seafood was frozen, microwaved and just put on the plate. The waiter asked us how the food was and I told her about the pasta, saying that it still had a good taste because I didn't want to be rude. She said that Carbonara is not specific to the region and if we want to eat good Carbonara we should go to Rome. How about you stop making food that you don't know how to make? I should also mention that we ordered this food because the focaccia on display was looking horrible. I wish you the best, close shop or change the whole staff.

21/02/2026: A very small portion of lasagna with absolutely nothing else: €12. Ravioli al ragù... no comment, €12. Caprese salad: one tomato and half a mozzarella ball: €10. Tagliatelle carbonara, the only dish that was even remotely reasonable: €12, plus €2.50 for cutlery and bread, per person of course. Aperol Spritz: €7.50, a very standard glass and far from being particularly good compared to others we've tasted in the same region. But the staff were very pleasant! Do not recommend at all, not at all, NOT AT ALL.

22/07/2025: Muy buena comida Recomiendo la pasta pesto - sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el hombre de pie fuera del restaurante con sus gatos tratando de que las mujeres vayan a su lugar diciéndoles que puede cocinar para ellos. Realmente no me sentí el más seguro. . Fue un poco incómodo porque se quedó al lado de la cena al aire libre todo el tiempo.

26/10/2025: This place is very appealing with an updated and cozy interior (they did have great seating outside but it was too chilly). We ordered the spaghetti with a mixture of shellfish and it was delicious!! The bread was like sourdough bread and great for dipping or shopping up your sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, we will be back.
