02/05/2025: Abbiamo preso due semplici pizze… stiamo stati malissimo. Non consiglio assolutamente. Non fatevi ingannare dalla postazione e neppure dal personale fin troppo gentile… dietro c’è l’inganno.

15/07/2025: Wir waren im 2017 das letzte Mal in diesem Restaurant und hatten unvergessliche Bruschette und einen tollen Abend gehabt mit super Service. Waren heute wieder da und mussten geststellen dass das Restaurant nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst ist. Dreckick, vollgestellt und Essen wie Service mangelhaft. Zum Ende die Rechnung ohne Preise, einfach nur die Quittung über den bezahlten Betrag. Chef sitzt hinten auf einer Bank, wahrscheindlich die Mutter vor dem Restaurant und als Servierer ein etwas verwirrter Mann. Abgeräumt wird nicht, wenn man etwas will muss man wie wild wedeln. Nicht zu empfehlen, unter KEINEN UMSTÄNDEN

30/07/2025: CoverCharge to sit down not even mentioned? Hidden charges....This is a RipOff bad example of a place to visit. Go elsewhere as we had to $5 glasses of wine which is all we wanted and made us buy Caprese. Over $100 Euro. Charged $12 cover charge per person & a 10% tip on the cover charge, LOL, plus other fees. We basically paid $100 Euro for two glasses of wine & bread. Bad experience for Portofino

12/08/2025: We liked it! I wasn't sure to eat here because of bad reviews, but we were hungry and decided to give it a try since we already were close by. We ordered calamari e gamberi fritti and branzino al forno, also tiramisu. Not the cheapest, nor the most delicious, but food was good! Our waiter was serious, but helpful. Something very nice was the owner who greeted us and was very attentive.

06/08/2025: Very good, the pizzas are very good. And the tiramisu is delicious. I highly recommend it.

01/05/2025: Sono anni che veniamo in questo ristorante, questa sera siamo venuti con amici ma alla richiesta di due risotti ( come suggerito nel menù, minimo due porzioni) ci è stato detto di no a meno che nn ne avessimo ordinate quattro, mi pare che nn sia corretto questo atteggiamento, abbiamo consigliato di togliere questo piatto dal menù, nell' ultimo periodo sono aumentati i prezzi e diminuite le porzioni, bisogna sempre elemosinare il pane, la qualità del cibo è sempre buona ma direi che il resto è da rivedere.

26/04/2025: Imbattuti per caso nel ristorante, buona accoglienza anche con il cane. Pasta con pesce molto buona, ma quella alla carbonara e all'amatriciana che hanno mangiato i bambini ha un po' deluso, la pancetta era prosciutto di dubbia qualità. Buon servizio nonostante la quantità di tavoli da servire.

04/08/2025: NON HO MAI MANGIATO COSI' MALE IN VITA MIA. Partiamo col dire che fuori non c'era seduto nessuno ma siccome gli altri ristoranti erano pieni decidiamo di accomodarci in questo incubo di ristorante. Apparecchiano il tavolo e ci consegnano un cucchiaio completamente sporco, con macchie nere......penso avesse almeno 30 anni. Pane e focaccia immangiabili. Decidiamo di prendere un antipasto (insalata di polpo) completamente insipido, come primo la mia amica prende una frittura mista dove poco dopo si accorge di un capello....., noi invece prendiamo PASTA CON GAMBERI 20 EURO....pasta immangiabile perchè era pasta al sugo scontita con 3 gamberi buttati sopra. Facciamo presente la cosa e il personale molto scortese dice che loro cucinano cosi...questa è mancanza di rispetto perchè ho provato moltissimi ristoranti ma questo non è degno neanche di rimanere aperto!!!! Sedie sporche, senso di sporcizia in ogni cosa, dai bicchieri lavati male, ai piatti con aloni. In fine andiamo in cassa per pagare e alla proprietaria facciamo presente che l'esperienza è stata pessima.... alza lo sguardo e si limita a rispondere "MI SPIACE". Direi che non ci sia altro da aggiungere, spero solo che il minor numero di persone capito in questo schifo di ristorante.... anche se ristorante non si può definire.

25/06/2025: Ordered a tuna salad with mozzarella cheese. Got a deep breakfast plate with a sliced ​​tomato, a pile of tuna from a can, a whole cheese and some corn kernels. Had a beer with the food and paid 20 euros. Simple, tasteless and expensive

25/06/2025: I have never been to the toilets, but I don't think I will go, as soon as I called they hung up on me, I just said good morning, a lady answered and said no I have time for advertising and hung up on me, not even time to ask for information or to book, because that's how I answer the phone, it would have been better not to go.

23/07/2025: If you want to spend an evening between the moon, Mars somewhere in our galaxy you have to go there ☝️😅 show of saltinbanque with background music on the boombox 👍 various and varied screams 😅 the meal...ah yes it's a restaurant...in fact there isn't really one...it's a "fai da te" 🥱 I think that what arrives on the plate, if it arrives, is recomposed with the leftovers from the previous table, which explains why we can't choose and why the price is random ☝️🤣 another vision of catering halfway between the participatory canteen and eating at home (when the fridge is empty the evening before going shopping) 😅 By watching the video I'm sure you'll be won over by the crazy atmosphere 👍

22/07/2025: Walked by and can confirm all the 1 star reviews: completely drunk owner, loud music with a speaker next to people eating and nothing else.

16/08/2025: Old and poorly maintained facility. Staff absent. Bathrooms date back to the 1960s. Electrical systems substandard. No lifeguard at the pool despite the height. This facility is highly discouraged.

04/08/2025: Never experienced such poor and miserable service and a hotel. One star is a disgrace. The rooms were dirty. When asked if they could provide a wine glass for the apartment, the arrogant reply was that there were already glasses in the kitchen. The pool also seems to be open to the public: a horde of young men from the neighborhood are loudly milling around the pool, chasing away the paying guests. Here, too, the reception has no interest in doing anything about it. There were no towels, and when we asked for them, we were treated disrespectfully. I can't recommend this accommodation to anyone. Horror instead of relaxation.

14/05/2025: Normalerweise bewerte ich nur Restaurants in denen wir gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, um die Leistung von Küche und Service wertzuschätzen. In diesem Fall muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen, weil es bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung gewesen ist, die wir je gemacht haben. Monterosso ist natürlich ein Ort, in dem viele Touristen unterwegs sind und einen freien Tisch zum Essen suchen, deshalb scheint sich das Personal und ebenso die Küche nicht um einen Gast zu bemühen, auf Stammgäste ist das Konzept ja auch nicht ausgelegt und die Trinkgelder sind auch gesichert, da sie gleich mit auf der Rechnung stehen, wir aber gerne bei gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal noch zusätzlich Trinkgeld geben. Der Kellner wirkte völlig lustlos, hat uns mit einer Geste einen Tisch zugewiesen, auf unsere Begrüßung gar nicht reagiert. Auf eine freundliche Bitte, uns Salz zu bringen, wurde zwar signalisiert, dass man es uns bringt, das war es dann aber leider auch. Mein Mann ist nach 10 Minuten selbst nach drinnen ins Lokal gegangen und hat eine Kellnerin um Salz gebeten, die ihm einen Salzstreuer gegeben hat, da war das geschmacklose Tagliata Manzone leider schon kalt, schade.

09/05/2025: Nous avons choisis des pizzas, prix un peu élevé pour l’Italie , rapport qualité prix excessif eau à près de 6 euros , service 16 euros , café 2,90 euros , nous sommes pris pour des pigeons , la serveuse au moment de payer nous donnais l’impression qu’il fallait dégager au plus vite

03/05/2025: À fuir absolument ! J’ai commandé un soi-disant grand fritto misto à 27,90 € : portion minuscule, sans accompagnement ni sauce. J’ai dû ajouter une petite assiette de frites (surgelées !) pour 7 €. Le dessert, un Tiramisu banal, facturé 9,90 €. Et le pire : l’addition ! Un supplément de 15,14 € pour le service à deux (non précisé à l’avance), et un autre de 9 € dont personne n’a su nous expliquer la raison. J’ai dû demander à la serveuse de vérifier les montants. Une vraie arnaque. Rapport qualité-prix catastrophique. À éviter à tout prix !
