02/04/2025: La domanda è cosa vi aspettate da un’enogastronomia? Attirati dal nome ci siamo recati per un aperitivo, sorvoliamo sul fatto che nessuno è venuto a prendere la comanda nonostante fossimo seduti di fronte alla porta, locale quasi vuoto, sollecitiamo, arriva la ragazza, ed ecco il bello: chiediamo la carta dei vini e la cameriera con sguardo interrogativo si mette le mani nei capelli, elenca i soliti 4 vini per tipo a voce, la carta non c’è; a quel punto chiediamo una carta per il cibo (da un’ enogastronomia me lo aspetto) niente, ci dice che c’è il solito piattino.. insistiamo e ci consegna finalmente una carta con aria perplessa, cit. “se vuoi la carta te la porto”, beh vedi tu!
Bilancio finale: due franciacorta sgasati e patatine da busta, un misero piattino portato quando oramai avevamo praticamente finito, alla modica cifra di 20€, pagati obbligatoriamente con carta perché non avevano il resto.
Ora liberissimi di servire il vino che volete e patatine, ma non chiamatela enogastronomia perché è una contraddizione in termini.
19/03/2025: Mi sono fatto consigliare da una persona del luogo un ristorantino con un rapporto qualità prezzo e corretto che mi hanno indicato Gustò.
Posto informale con seggiola tavolo spartani tovaglia di carta come nei Baretti che fanno anche veloci pranzi a mezzogiorno.
Menù sulla carta interessante ma dopo averlo provato niente di che
Un assaggio di insalata di mare che di mare aveva veramente poco (prevalevano patate lesse e zucchine), un cappon magro impiattato bene ma insapore, acqua minerale e caffè.
Un bar al costo di un ristorante: 40€ mi sono sembrati uno sproposito

11/06/2025: Sono stato recentemente in questa osteria di pesce e posso dire senza esitazioni che si tratta di un vero gioiello per gli amanti della cucina di mare. L’ambiente è accogliente, curato nei dettagli, con un’atmosfera che unisce spensieratezza e calore, perfetta sia per una cena romantica che per una cena tra amici.
Ogni piatto è un equilibrio perfetto tra tradizione e innovazione. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di tartare – freschissima e presentata con grande cura – seguita da un primo piatto di risotto ai gamberi delizioso. Il secondo, una frittura di paranza, era cotto alla perfezione.
Il servizio è stato impeccabile: cortese, professionale e attento senza mai risultare invadente. Il personale conosce bene i piatti e sa consigliare con competenza anche gli abbinamenti con i vini, che tra l’altro vantano una selezione ampia e ben

07/06/2025: S.O.S. how disgusting!!!!!
First point: The mussels were not cleaned so much that the water of the same was dirty and imaginable because of the too much salt added!!!!!!
Second point: a spaghetti with clams that for €18 they should have brought me at least 4. Ridiculous!!!!!
Third point: the €62 worst spent of my life!!!!!

01/06/2025: Speechless.
Very slow service but very friendly waiter
The problems of the dinner that lead me to write this review and above all to advise anyone NOT to go to this place were:
- terrible quality of the food: spaghetti with clams paid €15 WITHOUT taste and overcooked pasta. There was not even a drizzle of oil or hint of garlic. Mixed fried fish rubbery and of very poor quality.
- very high costs: gluten-free beer from Eurospin (I love being gluten-free) 33 ml paid €7! (On the menu the price of a standard small beer was listed at €3.50, so it was understandable that there was a surcharge, but certainly not that big. Pizza for a 4 year old girl with 1 wrustel (literally!) and 4 prawns was €18.
Cooking fee for a 1 year old girl was €3.50.
The prices for the side dishes are truly embarrassing, €8 for baked potatoes and €12 for potatoes and onions.
Furthermore, at the end of the dinner, the prices on the receipt were increased without any justification.
After having pointed out the very poor quality of the pasta, there were no concerns from the manager, but a simple “sorry”
Definitely an experience to avoid if you don’t want to be scammed.
01/06/2025: Everything was bad. The food tasted terrible and was clearly low quality. The gluten free bere was from supermarket and cost 6€. Spaghetti alle vongole was disappointing. Overall, a very bad experience. Would not recommend.

02/02/2025: Standard focaccia. Prices in my opinion too high. Two salads, 1 ichnusa beer, two pieces of classic focaccia (which we discovered cost €7 per slice), two coffees, cover charge: 42 euros.
16/12/2024: it is the best foccacia i have ever eaten. it only makes sense to try all the focacce they have and pick your favourite. mine is the one with cheese or the one with salad and anchovies. i can only recommend to eat there, the staff is nice and the foccacia is good (for all the people in the comments, maybe dont order pasta at a focacceria??)

04/06/2025: We were having trouble finding a place to have a drink and eat in Vernazza, until we came across a very welcoming and pleasant waiter, it's the only restaurant we found that offers different formats at very reasonable prices, for good, down-to-earth and very well-executed food! The staff was more than pleasant, in short it was excellent! Photo of the caprese pizza at 12€, fresh and quality ingredients, everything is there!
29/05/2025: Approached one of the workers at around 1:30 PM asking if we could sit at an open table to order drinks, she told us yes and we were sat. About 2 minutes after receiving our drinks we were handed the receipt and instructed to leave as we were not allowed to drink since we did not order food. Bear in mind our drinks were full at this point and were just set onto the table.
Not only did they charge a coperto (cover charge) of 4€ on top of a 27€ tab, but they rushed us to leave within’ 10 minutes of seating because we did not order food after we were told we could be sat for drinks.
Do not come here. Poor service. Rude employees. Greasy and unappealing food.

02/05/2025: We had lunch for two with two salads, I had a spritz and my girlfriend had a prosecco. Very kind staff, a little wait but it was almost full so it's normal. I also had dessert and it was delicious.
Fair prices for the location.
They don't serve at the counter (I imagine for space reasons)
We will probably return!

I go in and ask for a bottle of water.... I hear the answer that the bar only offers table service and that for take away there is a kebab shop next door...
And if I want a champagne at the counter, won't you give it to me?

20/03/2025: Dopo varie e positive esperienze nel recente passato, sono incappato in una giornata negativa. A parte la sgradevole compagnia di un tavolo attiguo causa vociare insopportabile dei commensali rimango deluso dai piati ordinati. Polpo alla ligure asciutto ed insipido. Polpo grigliato secco, pure lui insipido. Per nn parlare delle verdure abbinate al piatto. Pomodori inguardabili, patate anonime, broccoli crudi e mancanza della crema di ceci, riportata nel menù. Peccato davvero.

07/06/2025: We were going to eat here on our last night but then we read the reviews!! We called by at 8pm and there wasn't a single person in there while all the other restaurants were full, that tells you all you need to know! The owner needs to realize that people leave reviews and stop treating customers like an inconvenience. Until he changes his attitude the place will remain empty, a severe lack of professionalism. If he hates customers that much then just do everyone a favour and shut the place down!
01/06/2025: Tourist rip-off. We've eaten in Cinque Terre several times and sometimes paid a lot, but the quality in this restaurant doesn't hold up. We were also pressured to order as quickly as possible. The restaurant only survives on its well-located terrace in the village. But yes: in Cinque Terre, even a restaurant like this can survive with the crowds.

25/05/2025: Welcomed by a waiter smoking a cigarette who is not friendly, who puts things on the table and almost throws them away. We did not appreciate it, we even left quickly.
What a shame, such a waiter (I even think this gentleman would be the boss given his behavior). Never again.
10/05/2025: Tovagliette di carta sporche,bicchieri scheggiati, puzzo di rancido. Menù approssimativo. La crema di piselli descritta nel primo piatto inesistente. I secondi sono stati portati ad un altro tavolo dove,dopo averci inzuppato le forchette ed assaggiato, hanno chiamato il " cameriere" che ha preso i piatti e ce li ha portati. Ci siamo alzati, pagato il consumato e letteralmente scappati. Mai accaduta una cosa simile. W il panino al prosciutto

They have ice cream and snacks, but I did not try them. I tried the coffee and sweets. The coffee and sweets are very ordinary, and their service is a little bad. In general, it is not worth a visit.

03/06/2025: La ubicación es agradable. A pesar de que hice una reserva dos semanas antes de que nos sentáramos en una mesa bajo el sol, pedimos también sentarse en una mesa cercana, pero nos dijeron que es una mesa para tres. Pocos minutos después una pareja sin ninguna reserva se sentó allí. La señora gerente / propietario a cargo era muy grosero y desagradable. El servicio y la comida eran promedio, la relación calidad-precio era baja, incluso para Portofino.
27/05/2025: Después de dos comidas anteriores decepcionantes en Portofino, buscamos el restaurante más inteligente con el menú más imaginativo, en una ubicación fabulosa, para disfrutar realmente de nuestra última noche en este hermoso pueblo. O’Magazin marcó todas las casillas y nos sentamos junto al agua con personal amable, buen vino (a 20€ por copa) y una deliciosa cesta de pan con aceite. Estábamos emocionados de que nuestra comida llegara. Y entonces los buenos tiempos terminaron. Tal vez deberíamos haber adivinado cuando no nos preguntaron cómo se cocinaría el bistec. El filete llegó nadando en una cantidad ridícula de salsa y acompañado de nada ni siquiera adorno. Así que rápidamente pedimos un poco de fritas que llegaron rápidamente y apenas cubrieron el fondo del plato. El filete estaba tan duro que raspamos la salsa para mirarlo y estaba gris, casi nacarado. Con retrospectiva deberíamos haber enviado de vuelta, pero en realidad estábamos tratando de tener una experiencia gastronómica satisfactoria. Mis propios medallones de atún también fueron asfixiados en salsa / aceite con tomates y aceitunas. El atún estaba demasiado cocido y había reposado demasiado tiempo antes de ser servido. Ninguno de los dos hizo ningún progreso con nuestra comida y pagó la cuenta y se fue. El personal sonriente y alegre y la hermosa ubicación no compensaron la peor comida que he encontrado. La factura era escandalosa con frituras a 12€ por persona. Acepto que debería haberme quejado mientras estaba en el restaurante, pero la mala comida en Portofino me había desgastado. Al día siguiente la ciudad se redimió en Portofino Bistro, casi al lado de O’Magazin y estoy feliz de darle una crítica fabulosa.
