06/10/2025: 7.15pm we order a red pizza for the child and some fried food as an appetizer, followed by a mixed fried food and two pizzas for us adults. At 7.30pm the pizza for the child and the appetizers arrived... so far so good... too bad that at 8.15pm nothing else arrived and when we asked for explanations they told us that they could not bring the mixed fried food because the fryer was not working... Too bad that after 5 minutes we see 2 fried food come out to another table... so incompetent and liars, but what is worse, incapable of admitting their mistakes when we decided to leave they told us that our pizzas were in the oven! A real shame because the pizza is very good when they manage to serve it to you, but it is clear that the owners are not in the profession and wanted to be right by claiming that the other diners had ordered the fried food before us! … the owner, calling us rude when we decided to leave, proved to be undiplomatic, so we paid for the little we were able to consume (2 supplì and 6 Ascoli olives) after staying for over an hour and we left hungry. Luckily the child got his red pizza before everyone else!

06/10/2025: It was a shocking experience for me tonight. I won't go into the details, you'll discover them for yourselves. I'll just say that something like this has never happened to me in my life. The staff is putting themselves in trouble and, in my opinion, they work under stress and pressure. The waitress, who was large, superficial, and irresponsible, didn't handle the situation, taking the customer for granted, and made the staff feel uncomfortable seeing us all leave. The owners handled the situation like this: one said almost nothing except threatening my partner, the other raised his voice and treated us terribly, yelling at my mother and in front of my 3-year-old son, who, however, ate unlike us. Team, what can I say? It's obvious you have a lot of problems in the kitchen, and it's all having repercussions in the dining room, but where is your behavior leading you? I've noticed that you don't accept your own mistakes and the consequences, that you don't accept negative reviews. So I'll give you a positive one: congratulations! Part two: 3 adults, one child, a pizza, 3 beers, 2 supplì, and 6 Ascoli olives, the title of the movie. I call to make a reservation and ask if they have fried calamari. I arrive, wait, and nothing. I see plates of fried food coming and going. They tell me the fryer isn't working. And when do they tell me? After 45 minutes, when the owner's wife points out to the waitress that we're expecting 2 pizzas and a fried food. These are the details, now, it makes me laugh, but these are really like that!

12/06/2025: Muy baja calidad de los ingredientes excepto la carbonara, la salsa del risoto de mar sabe al tomate más barato de tu supermercado. El tratar con trufa y queso no me ha gustado nada. Habiéndo conudo en más de 15 restaurantes ha sido en el que más extranjera me sentido. Estaba tan defraudada que no tenía ganas de probar postre. Además es caro. The ingredients were very low quality, except for the carbonara. The seafood risotto sauce tasted like the cheapest tomato sauce you'd find at your local supermarket. I didn't like the truffle and cheese treatment at all. Having tried more than 15 restaurants, this was the one where I felt most like a foreigner. I was so disappointed that I didn't want to try dessert. It's also expensive.

12/10/2025: This is my second time here. The food is absolutely delicious, and the price is reasonable, considering you're just steps from Piazza del Popolo. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they're always prompt in recommending dishes, even to foreigners (they wanted the carbonara with ravioli!!!!). I'm taking one star off only because of the long wait (about half an hour), which could be improved.

03/10/2025: We arrived late into Rome and were looking for some feel good food after a long day of travel. We normally try to use Google and search for restaurants 4.5 and above so La Taverna Del Costa would not make the cut based on it’s present rating. However to pasta Vongole and Mushroom/Sausage Penne were outstanding. With a half carafe if house red we had a great meal. We were met by the staff with smiles and great service. It was a humble yet warm environment, that just served the best everyday food. It deserves a much higher rating and is Excellent value.

03/11/2025: Terrible hotel. The breakfasts couldn’t be worse — there’s nothing to choose from. I’ve been stuck in my room for three days with a broken hair dryer, and nobody cares. In three days, no one has done anything about it

09/10/2025: Had a dinner with the family, was very good. All we ordered was very tasty, the pizza was amazing!

25/05/2025: E’ peggiorata nel tempo! E’ adatta a turisti stranieri che non conoscono la cucina italiana e ancor meno la pizza. Gli ingredienti sono di pessima qualità ma spacciati e fatti pagare come tipici del territorio. Meglio non farsi prendere in giro!

04/10/2025: We ate lunch for two today. We asked for water and wine and were told verbally, without a menu for either food or wine, "Okay, I'll bring a bottle." And I... yes, okay, but what wine do you have? They listed three and I chose one (without knowing the price)... then the owner came over and asked us if we wanted an appetizer for two and okay without seeing the menu. The appetizer was certainly plentiful, but we didn't know how much it would cost... considering we were on Via Lucrezia Romana and not in Circeo. Average quality: some samples were genuinely disappointing, made with mediocre ingredients (frozen shrimp with cocktail sauce, supermarket salmon, rubbery and tough octopus). The first courses were good, but not worth returning for, especially since the quantity was normal and the price was 18 euros each!!! The appetizers? 25 per person. Wine 15... with desserts... well, in the end, for two, 110 euros with the discount! For which I obviously thank you. Otherwise it would have been 126 euros.

14/10/2025: This hotel is a great choice if you're looking for peace and quiet. Located in a very calm neighborhood right in front of the American Embassy, it's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. A special mention goes to Francesca and David, who welcomed us warmly at check-in and supported us throughout our entire stay. From start to finish, they were attentive, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. Although the rest of the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and under pressure, Francesca and David truly made the difference. Their professionalism and positive attitude stood out and made our stay much more enjoyable.

06/08/2025: Key card for the door lock never works. Shower is weak. Towel is scarce. Box tissue is missing. Unreasonable charge for third person without any services. No towel in the pool.

05/10/2025: Very unserious, the prices differ from what they listed on the menu, you order something and you get the same dish twice without any explanation, if you try to show them, they say that's what you ordered,.....it's not worth eating at that location.

04/10/2025: They managed to ruin a perfect evening!!! The story in short: this is a restaurant where you will be scammed by the staff. The employees' attitude is deplorable, and the QR code menu provided is specially designed to inflate the bill. Terrible food Terrible staff Do not recommend!!!

28/10/2025: A neighborhood hotspot. Breakfast and lunch (including BBQ!), and fantastic aperitifs at reasonable prices for the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

26/10/2025: A very positive experience. I went for a really good aperitivo with freshly made pinsas of various flavors and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it 🔝

15/03/2025: Sono stata invitata in questo ristorante per festeggiare un compleanno in famiglia. E' a pochi metri dall'ingresso di Villa Adriana. Il cameriere Claudio merita una menzione particolare per la sua simpatia e la sua professionalità. Il pranzo è stato molto buono: gli antipasti sono vari e ben preparati, come anche i primi. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, tant'è che non ho assaggiato il secondo. Tornerò sicuramente d'estate per cenare all'aperto in un contesto verde, suggestivo e curato

28/09/2025: Tourist trap; looks nice but very poor quality of food. Very disappointing for such high prices.

24/09/2025: La Buvette moves between tradition and modern ease. The carciofo alla giudia arrives like a bronze sunflower, crisp leaves splayed wide: historic, resilient, though more statement than substance (6.5/10). The fritto misto is lighter, a simple pastella giving zucchini, artichoke, and fish their own space; roots in Roman-Jewish kitchens clear enough (7/10). The standout is the grilled octopus: smoky, tender, set against cicoria and a sweet red pepper purée. Nothing showy, just balance and restraint, each element holding its place (9/10).

04/10/2025: The Spritz was decent, but definitely expensive (€10 each), considering that, despite asking three different waiters, no snacks were brought to us. There are definitely better options!

28/09/2025: People wandering around tired and who after 20 minutes can't take an order, after I'd already asked that I wanted to consume at the counter, go back to the cashier and say it's been 20 minutes and hear the reply, "Sit down, someone's coming" and have to explain that 20 minutes earlier, like a replay, I'd said the same things... and it wasn't even crowded, it's a shame, because in the absence of competition the quality offered is truly not adequate for the location.

08/10/2025: A half-hour wait for the most tasteless spaghetti with tomato sauce I can remember. They were passing off dried-up sandwich bread scraps as a basket of bread. Never again.

07/08/2025: Superb restaurant with good food. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We had the opportunity to eat there during the youth jubilee period and they were very enthusiastic about serving us. I recommend it. Thank you to them.
