I have been there on several occasions and have enjoyed well-cooked fish-based dishes, served at the table by polite, kind and professional staff. The only flaw to highlight is the accessibility, from the main road, which is particularly inconvenient.

22/05/2025: During our stay at the Hotel Aurora, we were advised to have dinner at Altrò, right in front of the hotel. A suggestion that turned out to be perfect. As soon as we sat down, they welcomed us with bread accompanied by an extra virgin olive oil from Itri: simple, but truly excellent, a great start. We chose two first courses: a tagliolini with shrimp bisque accompanied by a delicate tartare, and a risotto with real scampi cream and fresh cream. Both dishes were prepared with great care, balanced in flavors and with ingredients of evident quality. Quality, as we know, comes at a price — but when the experience is up to par, every euro spent acquires value. To make it all even more memorable, a small gesture from the waiter when he was leaving: while my girlfriend was already leaving, he stopped me, taking me by the arm and, with a knowing look, handed me a flower. A nice and unexpected moment that I immediately seized to surprise her, unaware of the scene. Advised!

19/05/2025: On a rainy day in April, walking around Sperlonga, we came across Altro' Restaurant, looking for a good fish-based lunch. The welcome was impeccable: from the beginning, we were accompanied with attention and professionalism by an extremely knowledgeable and kind lady, able to recommend each course based on our needs. The cuisine won us over: from the delicious tagliolini with red prawns, to squid with escarole but, the real star was the Gran Altro', a selection of raw fish that absolutely deserves to be tried. The prices are not among the lowest indeed (raw fish appetizer, a first course of tagliolini with red prawns, a second course of squid, water and Pinot Noir wine € 206.00) but the quality of the food makes every euro well spent.

26/05/2025: We spent a long weekend at the Fattoria and we reluctantly go to dinner. The restored structure is truly wonderful, full of little corners with flowers and plants in which to relax. Breakfast is all with local products! During the weekend it was possible as an extra to have dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, we chose dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the care and taste of the dishes (here too, like breakfast, the ingredients are all of local origin)

04/05/2025: We spent two nights in this wonderful place with our child, where Chiara and Marco welcomed us, always available and with a smile even if they had a thousand things to do. Francesco and the other guys who work there are also super nice. We slept in a super comfortable and clean studio apartment, lots of healthy food, a large garden to recharge and finally an educational tour of the farm on Sunday morning.

28/05/2025: Restaurant on the outskirts of Capena, certainly among the best in the area for the good quality/price ratio. Family-run, they lose a bit on weekends due to long waits and errors in dishes, for this reason I stop at 4 stars, too bad. Recommended

04/05/2025: We were truly disappointed with our experience at Hi-Res despite its beautiful setting. The restaurant was not busy, yet the service was incredibly slow — our starters arrived nearly an hour after we were seated. We ordered a virgin mojito and were served what tasted like plain lemon water. The seafood spaghetti had an unpleasant smell and was impossible to enjoy. Definitely not what we expected from a restaurant with such high ratings.

13/05/2025: An incredible family restaurant, of quality, tradition and natural kindness. Excellent Sardinian cuisine, I recommend trying the roast suckling pig (reservation required). If you pass by Rome Aurelio area, don't miss the opportunity!

14/02/2025: Perfect, small but spacious enough to not feel alone and at the same time have the privacy and intimacy of thinking about your own thoughts, a bar where I know you can make friends as well as get drunk and socialise, definitely recommended if you want to drink quality red wine! (5 euros a glass ;))

11/05/2025: Rating 7. I don't understand many things. 30 euros per person to eat fairly common dishes, nothing special. The swordfish is soft and tasteless, the meat must be tough, what a selection is it to buy frozen fish if you are not sure of bringing a first choice to the table. The first with posillipo clams, excellent. The roast fish was good but not very special.

05/05/2025: A real and pleasant discovery! I ate an exquisite pizza, wood-fired oven, light dough, abundant ingredients and vast menu choice. Buffalo mozzarella with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil, this was my choice, it was an explosion of flavors, all with the right balance. The babà at the end of the dinner was "music" 😊 Compliments also to the dining room staff and the reception. Everything "meid" in Caserta and surrounding areas. I recommend booking on weekends
