04/03/2026: A special location for special moments. Reservations are mandatory given the size of the place. The service is impeccable, but above all, the pizza is extremely easy to digest. And what can I say about the pizza chef's extreme motivation and enthusiasm? It was a dinner for four on a wonderful evening with some dear friends of ours. They took us to this location, and it made an immediate impression. Everything was very clean, but above all, they were greeted with lots of genuine smiles. They immediately led us to our table and, without rushing us for a moment, gave us all the time we needed to order. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, and delicious, delicious. Pizzas by the meter with a wide variety of flavors. And all extremely authentic. I could say I recommend it to everyone, but instead I say go and try it to believe it.

05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

18/03/2026: I’ve eaten pizza here twice and both times it was amazing. The pizza called “Papa Francesco” was especially delicious. The owner is very friendly, humble, and welcoming. You can really feel the warm atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended!

04/03/2026: Fascinating restaurant in the back of a wine bar with partially open kitchen (can view final prep) and with seating at common u-shaped bar tables (but deep enough for some privacy). The food was creative and well-prepared. The wine equally esoteric and delicious.

03/03/2026: I went to lunch at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends, intrigued primarily by their interesting research into the world of wine, which had been described to me as one of the restaurant's strengths. For this reason, I asked the staff if they had any wines "off the list," considering that the wine list explicitly states "don't hesitate to ask if you have any requests," as there's much more than what's listed. I therefore expected expertise and the ability to guide me in my choice. Unfortunately, the staff proved completely unprepared: not only were they not offered a valid alternative, but I sensed uncertainty and a lack of knowledge. Considering that wine research should be a distinctive feature of the restaurant, it was a significant disappointment. The food also didn't live up to expectations. I ordered two dishes that turned out to be mediocre: nothing that distinguished the offering from the average. I'm sorry to write this review, because the promise was very promising. I hope the restaurant can improve so as to truly realize the potential it seems to have, at least on paper.

24/03/2026: Honestly, the food here was even better than what I’ve had in Rome. The fritto misto and risotto were incredible, and they even deboned the dorada for me at the table, which was such a nice touch. Definitely don’t skip the tiramisu or the sorbet—they are to die for! A huge thanks to Greta for being so attentive and making the night special. Amazing service and even better food. We’ll be back for sure!

07/03/2026: Excellent dinner; my straccetti with artichokes and the pinza with buffalo mozzarella and patanegra were supreme. The atmosphere was chic and airy, and the waiters were attentive and friendly, although last night they were slower than usual.

06/03/2026: I think it was the food I enjoyed most in Rome, considering all the times I've been to the city. My Bucatini all'Amatriciana was just how I like it, with plenty of sauce, bacon, and cheese, with a strong flavor. Italian restaurants usually skimp on the amount of sauce and other ingredients. Fortunately, this was an exception, both in my dish and in the other orders at the table! I highly recommend it!

09/01/2026: The food was delicious, but the service from one of the waiters was practically nonexistent. He handed the dishes to you instead of placing them on the table, and he didn't acknowledge your greeting or farewell. If it weren't for the poor service, it would have been a 5-star experience.
