20/07/2025: Il Vicolo is situated just through the archway in Atina and is a lovely restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and happy to allow you to try your Italian and also help when you are lost ! with their excellent English. The dinner was excellent. The shrimp starter was delicious, light and full of flavour, and there is a great choice otherwise. We enjoyed the Fagioli and one of the pasta options. All excellent and we were not rushed.

16/08/2025: We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel, but the experience was a little underwhelming. The gentleman at the door seemed disinterested from the outset, and the service throughout was slow and inattentive. I even ordered a beer and was brought a Fanta Lemon instead – it was corrected, but still an odd mistake. The food itself was fairly average, and neither of us finished our meals. Overall, I think there are better options available at other local restaurants.

14/08/2025: Very good food (for a very reasonable price) and I had the best tiramisu in Rome here.

07/07/2025: They brought barely cooked pasta, after I tried it I immediately returned it. What's most surprising is that they didn't offer to make a new one and included it in the bill. This is the first time I've encountered this!!!

22/06/2025: Excellent quality of dishes. A ‘must’ their pizza amatriciana but any choice is right. Great professionalism of the staff always ready to understand the requests of the customers. Highly recommended.

07/08/2025: An excellent experience! The food was very, very good, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The prices were also very reasonable, which makes it even better. The service was impeccable, with everyone very friendly and attentive. We especially want to give a shout-out to our waiter, Elegio, who was incredibly kind and recommended some of his favorite dishes... and he was spot on! Everything we tried was delicious. It's also close to the Vatican. Highly recommended!

07/08/2025: The waiter, Eligio, was extremely attentive and friendly. All four of our dishes were exceptional! Cacio pepe, lasagna, filet mignon, and lamb.

14/07/2025: Evening out during a holiday in Rome. Food was okay to good. Service was weird. Both of us felt a little uncomfortable and we finished rapidly and left. I wouldn't return but the food was good enough to justify three stars

08/07/2025: Most amazing food!!! The lobster linguine is amazing!!! We paid $5000. For tour that included several meals, after 1st tour meal we decided to come back here and pay for our own food!!!

08/07/2025: This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to Rome. They very easily accommodated a group of 10 people on their rooftop dining. The food was delicious and the service was even better. I would highly recommend.

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

13/07/2025: Very poor pizza, sorry, maybe we got the wrong one, it makes up for it with the F1 Ferrari atmosphere, I think it's worth visiting this place and maybe you'll be able to find a better quality pizza

12/07/2025: Two pizzas and water for 17 euros are prices rarely seen in Rome, especially in the tourist areas. Pizza with a very thin, crispy crust. It's worth venturing off the beaten path sometimes :)

03/07/2025: Esperienza a dir poco terrificante ci sediamo un pranzo di lavoro sul menu c’è scritto esperienza di mare 38 € cinque portate di cui bastoncini surgelati di calamaro alici surgelate fritte salmone marinato ma non lo era,praticamente insipido e sutè di cozze, sporche e pochissime, insomma per 38 euro…. Ne prendiamo fortunatamente uno. Frittura calamari e gamberi ( 2 codine) voto 5 Scegliamo una bottiglia di vino da 16 €, ce ne viene portata un’altra al tavolo da 22 € la scusa è che quella sul menu non ci fosse. Totale 74€ Ciao non mi vedi più
