21/03/2026: €18 for a rosemary tagliata is now a reasonable price in 2026, except that it was literally five slices of meat, mostly inedible fat. Of the entire portion, I had to discard a third to avoid the risk of going home feeling sick, and at the end of the dinner, I felt a Margherita was a must to fill my belly after eating more or less the amount of meat found in a tenderloin. Horrified.

21/02/2026: We found this restaurant by chance while we were cycling in the area thanks to a gentleman passing by who recommended it to us. We were skeptical at first but were pleasantly surprised. We ate wonderfully, from the starter to the dessert. Congratulations, when you do a good job, you have to write it down! 😉 We only have a photo of the dessert, obviously completely finished.

30/11/2025: Welcoming place, courteous staff, and a friendly owner. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, and the pizza was excellent, Roman-style. I returned on August 15th with friends for a seafood dinner. Everything was delicious, from the mixed appetizer to the tagliolini allo scoglio, the fried fish, the side dishes, and the desserts. Pietro, one of the owners, is always courteous and helpful, and the table service is also top-notch in terms of courtesy and speed. If you're in Sabaudia, stop by; it's definitely worth it. November 2025: Traditional polenta at Lo Zaffiro, exceptional, with broccoli, spare ribs, and sausage...always top-notch.

04/03/2026: I'm reluctant to write this kind of review, something I never would have thought possible. We've been coming here practically forever, since my friend's mother, a regular customer, lives across the street. I have no complaints about the food or the staff, who are always super kind, smiling, polite, and respectful. Unfortunately, what happened last night with the owner's father is incredibly serious and should not go unnoticed. My friend and I just wanted to spend a peaceful evening when, after serving us focaccia with puntarelle, this person, after having brought us focaccia with puntarelle, came to our table and, thinking he was being funny and friendly, made some offensive "jokes," some of which he didn't even report because he himself considered them "too rude." He attacked our weight and physical appearance, greatly embarrassing us and completely ruining our evening, which ended in tears, which was supposed to be relaxing after a terrible day. Witnessing such outrage made our stomachs drop. We canceled all our subsequent orders and informed the longtime waitress, who was very kind and understanding, of what had happened. The "gentleman" tried to apologize, unaware of the gravity of the matter, repeatedly saying it was just a joke and that he couldn't even insult my friend's appearance because he hadn't even seen her properly (!!!). It wasn't a joke at all, and what was said certainly shouldn't be considered a joke. At the cashier, despite our willingness to pay, we were offered the little we managed to consume, but it didn't even make up for what we had suffered. A place that felt like home was ruined for us, and one we'll hardly return to because you shouldn't be treated like that. Regardless of the fact that he wasn't joking in the slightest, and whatever the case, these types of "pranks" should only be played with people you're close to, not strangers who have tried in various ways to make it clear that their presence at the table, much less the manner in which they were approaching you, was not welcome. My sincere advice to avoid future incidents: keep this "gentleman" at home, which is perhaps better for everyone, especially the customers. Because, in any case, offering two glasses of wine and a focaccia with puntarella certainly doesn't make us want to return to a place where we were treated like ugly, fat people.

27/01/2026: I was truly impressed by this restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the staff is friendly and always available. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and presented with meticulous attention to detail: authentic flavors, generous portions, and perfect service times. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Highly recommended: I'll definitely be back!

22/01/2026: Never again! Ordered takeout: 2 fried foods and 2 baked sea bream with potatoes. 80 euros. The receipt didn't specify the prices, but it said "fixed menu." The fried foods were rubbery, and the sea bream were full of bones (they had cleaned them). When I called to clarify the price, the owner wasn't there. I left his number, and no one called me back. If this is how he treats customers, they'll bring him their money. They also say it's too expensive for its quality. In fact, it's nothing compared to other restaurants.

31/12/2025: We made a reservation for New Year's Eve, and when we arrived, we found the street blocked off and the restaurant, obviously, closed. We were able to make the reservation through Google, and an external app confirmed it. All for nothing, only to be unable to attend or receive any information. Terrible.

24/02/2026: Excellent lunch and very friendly staff. We were passing through and decided to stop in on the recommendation of a dear friend who gave us a great tip. We really enjoyed it.

17/02/2026: A wonderful discovery. Exceptional first courses. We ordered three carbonaras, one cacio e pepe, and one tagliatelle with hare ragù. For the main course, a simple tagliata with fries for the kids and a peppered fillet for us with sautéed chicory. Everything was fantastic! The staff were welcoming and friendly. The indoor dining room features a grill for life; we loved it because it reminds us of an old farmhouse. The glass exterior is also beautiful.

03/01/2026: Top-notch gluten-free, everything delicious. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The bread and focaccia are excellent. There are only a few dishes... but the ones they do have are refined and delicious. "You have to mop up the bread with bread"... the price is moderately high.

03/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with a limited menu but refined flavors. We didn't notice at all that everything here was gluten-free; the bread and focaccia were exceptional. The prices were just above average, but the portions were generous and the flavors sophisticated.

01/03/2026: In this beautiful place, you'll personally meet the witch from Hanzel and Gretel!! The owner, in fact, has a profound disdain for children. 1) The name of the establishment is already misleading, as it's called "Casale Agriturismo Poggio Nebbia a Tarquinia" (and doesn't accept children), almost like "Fattoria Agriturismo Poggio Nebbia a Tarquinia" (which was actually designed as a place dedicated to children, with animals and dedicated spaces). 2) I booked for Sunday lunch the day before, asking for a table for 6 + 1 high chair. Apparently, I made a mistake because when booking, you have to specify how many adults and how many children, as the owner reserves the right to tell you she doesn't want you in her restaurant (I discovered this eventually, when the owner accused me of making a false statement by booking for adults only; I wonder why I would have done so, I don't know). 3) As soon as we entered, the owner, rather rudely and annoyed, took away the children's glasses and replaced them with disposable paper cups (the children still paid the full cover charge). 4) We asked for an extra slice of mortadella (for the child) beyond what was included in the appetizer we'd just been served, but it was denied, telling us they'd have to open a mortadella specifically for it. 5) Just seven minutes after we entered, the owner called us back, telling us to keep the children quiet and quiet (two children, each aged 4, were simply playing with their toys on the floor, not disturbing any of the seated customers in any way). 6) As uncomfortable as the owner made us feel while we were eating, we decided to cut it short and ruin our Sunday lunch completely, canceling the main courses and hurrying to leave. But even that didn't go well: we had just crossed the threshold to head to our cars when the owner, throwing a dish towel she was holding, even in front of the other customers, approached us and attacked us, saying that the children were moving pebbles from the path onto the adjacent lawn and that would jam the robot. What can I say: a terrible, interminable, and humiliating hour and a half. We definitely won't be back, except to celebrate the end of the school year with all the children in our children's class.

08/02/2026: Lunch to celebrate three friends' birthdays. We had no doubts about the restaurant's excellent choice. Ettore is a guarantee, and this time he proved himself once again. The dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. The service was impeccable despite the restaurant being packed. If you've never been there and are looking for a restaurant in Fiumicino, give it a try. You won't regret it. Thank you, Ettore, and congratulations to all the staff.

26/01/2026: Delicious, guaranteed! Highly recommended. Fresh ingredients, flavorful and tasty dishes. The first courses are plentiful and always super creamy and perfectly blended. I think this restaurant has very few rivals! Kudos to all the staff!!

29/11/2025: A delightful lakeside restaurant. We were greeted with such kindness and professionalism, and then pampered like we hadn't felt in a long time. Everything was truly excellent and carefully prepared, from the appetizers (the octopus alla Luciana was truly exceptional) to the first and second courses. I really appreciated the paccheri being perfectly cooked. The menu caters to all tastes. The service was truly attentive, and the lunch was relaxing. The owner, Mr. Francesco, was very kind to us and our daughter. I'm so happy we ate there, and we'll definitely be back. Try it, it's worth it! :)

22/02/2026: I unfortunately didn't get to go to Baja. I booked for Aperitivo for a group of friends for my 50th birthday and due to the weather it was closed. However, I wanted to say that the planning was so easy, the staff were friendly, the food sounded great! I am so sorry I didn't get to go, but if you're in Rome and they are open then I'm sure they will make sure you have a good time. ♥️

04/03/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant and had a great time. There's ample parking. I recommend it especially to those who love meat; it's tender and perfectly cooked; they ask you how you like it cooked. The first courses were good and plentiful. I had the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. The staff was helpful, friendly, and quick. The price was fair. We'll definitely be back.

A restaurant where you can savor the flavor of fish, yes fish with a capital P, in every course, which is recommended and served excellently by Manuele, our impeccable and very kind companion in this superb experience of mine and my wife! 12/03/2026: Not that great place. It doesn’t feel as a restaurant that much. Too crowded and to many tables. The tables are so close to each other that it feels you sit with someone else at your table. We have been there around 3pm after visiting the Colosseum on a Sunday and it was really busy. The for was ok, not impressive but ok, same as the coffee. We just wanted to eat pay and go without relaxing to much as everything felt in rush. Prices are ok but I am sure there are other restaurants around that can do better for the same money. It’s ok to eat there, don’t get me wrong but after a long day visiting the Forum and Colosseum and walking around from the morning we felt that we need to relax a little after lunch, but this place couldn’t offer that. Thank you!

15/03/2026: Too bad about the wait... More than an hour and 20 minutes between the appetizer and the main courses. The owner responded....It's Sunday, so be patient. Next time I'll book on Wednesday. Too bad it's closed. Quality fish. Friendly staff. Well-executed appetizers, good fried food, quality main courses. Desserts were just packaged. Aside from the tiramisu, the location with a sea view was all in all appreciable. In the end, the bill was 50 euros per person for the appetizer and main course with wine and coffee. At least the coffee afterwards. The mix-up was kindly offered.

06/03/2026: The strength of this place on the Fiumicino waterfront is its on-site parking. I didn't know that, and it's a plus. The fish is fresh. The appetizers are good. We'll be back.
