06/04/2024: Our last stop after spending a week touring northern Italy and having enjoyed countless magnificent gastronomic experiences with my wife and 7-month-old baby was Bologna. On the recommendation of the hotel receptionist we headed to this restaurant. We arrived, everything was full (or that's what they told us at least) and they made us wait half an hour in the street. While the Italian groups, couples or families continued entering as they arrived. As they saw that we were not leaving and we were at the door waiting for “our turn,” they told us to sit at a table where there was no possibility of leaving the baby's chair nearby. When they asked for explanations and asked for another table, they basically invited us to leave. Nothing like this had ever happened to me in my life.

12/05/2024: The dishes are decent, but the amount of food is so small it is impossible to be full from just one meal. The price is way too high for the quality and amount of food. In addition, we were kept waiting to pay for more than 20 minutes because the waiters were so busy. Overall, so OVERRATED. Not worth at all !! JUST A TOURISTS SCAM PLACE

06/04/2024: DON'T MISS THE EXPERIENCE OF EATING IN THIS RESTAURANT!!!
After so much pasta and so much ragout, trying To Steki's dishes is a return to the best of Gourmet food.
Luca, the manager, is very friendly and advises you on the best dishes of each day.
The Baccalà and the swordfish with squid were among the highlights of my trip to Bologna. Simply SPECTACULAR!
And thank you, Luca, for that Mastiha!!!

06/04/2024: While the ambiance near Piazza Maggiore was delightful, the pizza itself fell short of being the best. The crust had a slight sour taste, which detracted from the overall experience. However, the staff provided excellent service, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Despite the pizza not being exceptional, the fair price and friendly service made it a good experience overall.

15/05/2024: The best pizzeria in all of Bologna! Classic Neapolitan dough also provided for celiacs, as well as the possibility of having a 48 hour leavening which gives the pizza something extra!
The big flaw of this restaurant is the staff: in winter I had to deal with a waitress who, while I was putting on my jacket as quickly as possible, stood behind me and said to her colleague (in the hope that he wouldn't if you heard it): “come on, you can do it, it's not difficult, quick!” with an annoyed tone suitable for mockery, all because she had to clear the table... you don't do it that way

02/04/2024: I had already come to this place some time ago and found the top pizza.
I returned from Rizzoli on foot this evening hoping to enjoy the same pizza.
Instead they gave me half a pizza as in the photo and nothing like the previous one.
01/04/2024: Good pizza, light and flagrant, good staff but they tell you the bare minimum, the place leaves a little to be desired, let's not talk about the toilets, and this makes me think a lot, I really don't think I'll go back.

06/04/2024: A classic restaurant, with Bolognese cuisine. I loved the large choice of gluten-free first courses and I really liked the tagliatelle with meat sauce I chose. Starters and desserts not unforgettable but good, especially the parmigiana and tiramisu. Service varies on the presentation of the dishes, but always friendly. I would return to try the other starters.
05/04/2024: Unfortunately you can't give less than one star. To forget, shame on you, searched on TripAdvisor with good reviews and accredited on the AiC site, having a celiac with me I think I'm on the safe side by booking there. He took two Bolognese cutlets, decidedly not Bolognese-style since they were full of cream and they had forgotten the ham, two baked potatoes and a baby spinach. The quality of the food was definitely not up to the bill or even just the location of the restaurant. The thing that angered me the most and made me write this review is that, apart from the bread, the celiac food was not gluten-free, I don't know if it was contaminated or the result of wrong orders, but the boy who was with me was terrible , so much so that we risked calling an ambulance and ruined our evening. In an accredited venue this is something that shouldn't happen because it risks people's health, and for a few extra pennies I don't think it's worth it. Don't be fooled by positive reviews probably written ad hoc like I did. To be absolutely avoided, they poison people.

15/05/2024: I was initially afraid that I would end up in some kind of tourist trap, but that was not the case. Very nice service and delicious eggplant rolls with spicy tomato sauce, ravioli filled with rabbit and scaloppina. Great night

05/04/2024: We passed by on a Friday early night without reservation, and the waiter accommodated us goving a nice table outside for 2 people.
We ordered the following,
Appetizer: mozzarella de buffala with tomato and basil (12€). And they also brought a nice flatbread seasoned with thyme, and olive oil.
Main dish: tagliatelle Al bolognese (14€) and Torteloni with ricotta inside on a creamy gorgozonla and walnut sauce (14€).
The tagliatelle was absolutely amazing, rich sauce, very tasty. The torteloni was good, but a bit bland in flavors. Both pasta were cooked with perfection.
We had house wine (0,5L for 8€). And previous to order the bill the waiter offered us some Limoncello and biscuits on the house.
Coperto (service charge): 2.50€ per person
By the end of our experience, the restaurant was full, many large groups and families enjoying their time, just like we did.
30/03/2024: Quite simple trattoria but rather efficient service. The pizzas are really generous and quite good. We had an antipasto to share accompanied by a very good and careful salad. It wasn't too expensive. A downside however on the wines, there is nothing interesting, nor organic, and nothing by the glass except mediocre table wine. the tiramisu was not good I left it almost whole. I still recommend it for friendly service and good quality cuisine.

Too bad only for the location, a little inconvenient for those coming from outside and looking for parking and the place is not huge... better to go with a reservation. Having said that I highly recommend it, the staff are very kind and the food is very good.

05/04/2024: Nice restaurant with medium-high quality ambience. Courteous and professional service. The food is of excellent quality. The portions are very small for the high prices. There were 6 of us and we left the place hungrier than before. I ordered the mezze sleeves with octopus ragù. All very good but a "little taste" portion. Seating outside in good weather. Not recommended if you are hungry.
31/03/2024: The best restaurant in Bologna and its province. Everything excellent from meat to fish. Low prices, friendliness of the owners. I go there often and I highly recommend it. Giuseppe Marano
