20/12/2025: Limited flexibility in editing the food items which is standard in italy but they were very kind to us as we are vegetarian. They made us Gnocchi sorrentino and it was the best italian dish I may have had in my whole life. Ate it twice in a 3-4 day stay in positano. Honestly if you are vegetarian the dish will not disappoint it is hands down created for the gods. So fantastic! The tomato sauce and the basil really shine through the dish, it is truly something special! Beautiful family! Cheers to the chef making such an extraordinary dish, yet so simple. I refuse to eat Gnocchi anywhere else because I don’t want to be disappointed. Truly hand crafted!

07/09/2025: An oasis in Positano. We stopped for a break, excellent cocktails, and signature snacks. The staff is young, friendly, and very professional.

07/09/2025: Great location and exceptional service! There are many shops around the hotel and it’s very close to the beach. Lucio was awesome and helped us book an excursion to Capri which made our trip extra memorable. We also highly recommend taking a sunset cruise, it was the highlight of our visit. We truly had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary in Positano!

25/11/2025: A real gem of a place, that our Airbnb host Vicenzo recommended. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, the wine selection is very good, and the ambience is fantastic with a beautiful view. Can’t wait to come back!

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

05/12/2025: Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

15/12/2025: Casa e Bottega truly impressed us with their impeccable service. We stopped in last minute needing a quick breakfast before catching our ferry, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The space itself is beautiful — filled with greenery and well-cared-for plants, with a cute, relaxed vibe that immediately makes you want to stay longer. It’s the kind of place where you’d love to slowly enjoy breakfast and sip coffee without a rush. Even though we were short on time, the ladies made sure our food came out quickly so we could eat comfortably and still make our ferry. The service was excellent, and the food and coffee were both great. Would absolutely come back and spend more time here next visit.

12/12/2025: From the moment we walked in I loved this place. It had such a warm, peaceful, friendly atmosphere and decoration. I can’t say enough about how welcoming they were for our dog. Then the food came… So delicious. It started with the beautiful meatballs that melted in our mouth. And then the crêpes, ravioli, and the gorgeous local dessert, sbriciolata cake was the cherry on the top. And they was open in December when so many other places are closed, I can’t recommend this place enough..

12/12/2025: Amazing authentic pasta and superb service! We had to come back a second time to try out the pizza which was also delicious. You can’t beat the views either.

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

06/10/2025: Caution - Do not eat here. We just ate here and my wife has been puking her brains out within an hour of eating here. The service was also not great. The food obviously, not good considering the food poisoning. Also, the amount of cat pee everywhere outside and in the bathrooms was nauseating

05/10/2025: We enjoyed having a very delicious dinner. I had the grilled tuna and my beautiful wife had grilled chicken with basmati rice and vegetables on the side. We enjoyed the place, the music and the hospitality. Very highly recommended to everyone.

Every dish was bursting with flavor, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and served in generous portions. The pastas and meats were cooked to perfection, showcasing true traditional Italian cooking at its finest. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed. To top it all off, the panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast added a magical touch to an already exceptional meal. La Tagliata is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Italian dining experience.

03/11/2025: Regarding the restaurant: Overall, we had a pleasant evening, which was somewhat marred by several issues as the meal progressed. We used the complimentary shuttle and were driven to the restaurant. The appetizers, drinks, and bread arrived promptly. We finished everything, and the next course was brought immediately. Since I'm vegetarian, my husband and I had separate courses. Again, we finished everything and were satisfied. Then came the main course—a huge meat platter (at least five pieces) for my husband and a single piece of grilled cheese for me. Since I was already full, I definitely didn't want any more, but I would have appreciated a price adjustment, as we were both paying €60 per person. When we asked the waiter to slow down a bit, he immediately brought the desserts. We waited a while to eat again, but then the waiter came and said the shuttle would be back in 10 minutes and that he would prefer to pay everything in cash. We ordered espressos, which came in plastic cups, and tried to eat as much dessert as possible. We placed the money on the table in cash, which he took without a word or thank you. Since we were there in early November, we unfortunately couldn't see the view because it was dark. The food itself was good, typical Italian home cooking. The meat was dry and tasteless. The service was always attentive and friendly. For a €120 menu, I would have liked more than 90 minutes.

27/10/2025: This was our favorite spot while visiting positano. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Even the simple dishes were packed with flavor. Highly recommend. Would love to go back.

Staff not serious, we didn't receive what we have ordered and the waiter said just after "sorry we don't have what you want so we replace by this"... And at the next table an old guy was smoking. My wife had the smoke coming to her during the time we were eating. Even the next table complained... Horrible experience despite the sun and the sea.
