28/12/2025: Excellent experience. Authentic food, professionally prepared. The atmosphere is welcoming, both for the location and the friendliness of the staff. We had lunch today, four of us, in a warm and comfortable room where we enjoyed delicious pasta and tender meat. The prices matched the food and service. Compliments to all the staff. Highly recommended.

09/06/2026: We ate at O'Cerriglio three times and it was always superb. The Florian di zucca and cozze were sensational. The fish and spaghetti vongole were also excellent.

19/04/2026: Gorgeous pool, surrounded by greenery, just the right number of people, friendly and professional staff, top-notch food, perfect atmosphere and dishes. Prices are a bit high, but they're in line with the quality. The pool + lunch option is very popular, as the food is excellent.

10/06/2026: The waiter didn't speak English and seemed a bit confused. We had to pay an extra €3.50 for a gluten-free pizza that was smaller than the regular one and didn't taste very good!! (Without us being informed beforehand.) Absolutely outrageous. The regular pizza was good value for money. The atmosphere, however, was truly wonderful.

06/06/2026: This evening, at the recommendation of our hotel manager, four of us dined at this restaurant. Given the reviews, we took the plunge. It was a forgettable experience; the restaurant has a terrace, but the service was mediocre. We pointed out to the waitress that our glass wasn't clean, and she took it and replaced it with one from the next table without even apologizing. We ordered two fried fish dishes, which barely earned a passing grade. Of the two pizzas we ordered, one arrived 15 minutes after the fish, and one was missing. I waited another 15 minutes, with no interest whatsoever in the poor service. We ate at different times. The pizzas were good, but the prices weren't exactly worthy of the service we received. From my experience, I wouldn't recommend it; there are definitely better places out there.

30/12/2025: (I'm local) Unfortunately, this is not an experience I would recommend ever. The food was not fresh (the ravioli were soggy, broken, and served with a very watery sauce), and cleanliness was seriously lacking (dusty glasses and hands touching the dishes). The prices are very high for the quality offered. Almost 100€ for 1 anchioves, clearly not fresh fried, 2 ravioli, 1 water, half house wine. It did not feel like an authentic Caprese experience or Italian level. The owner was kind and the place itself is very nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.

10/05/2026: Seize the moment and go to another pizzeria. Extremely long waits, over an hour, terrible pizza, unfriendly staff, pizzas arrived over an hour after ordering, and we didn't even hear a "sorry."

09/05/2026: You can't wait more than two and a half hours for a pizza. It's absurd! Don't even open reservations on Saturday nights if you can't, do it first.

16/05/2026: This is my second visit to Italy and I am on my ninth day of the trip, but I have never seen a Michelin 2-star restaurant like this before. I am writing this review while praying that this is the last one. First, I visited the 2-star Glem in Venice, which was the highest level of 2-star. Last Monday, I went to the 3-star Osteria Francesca in Modena, which lived up to its reputation as the best. On Wednesday, the 1-star Otto di Vito Mollica in Florence was just as good as a 2-star. And on Thursday, the 2-star Santa Elisabetta was at a level where it wouldn't be surprising if it received a 3-star rating. Finally, I came all the way to Naples and visited George Restaurant, and while the view is 3-star, the service is worse than a trattoria. In particular, Sommelier Marco was the worst, most unfriendly, and strange person I have ever seen. It is unbelievable that someone like that is getting paid to provide service. Also, overall, the number of serving staff was too small to match a 2-star rating, making it feel like a neighborhood diner. The servers were indifferent and lazy. The female staff were rude as well; in any case, this place is not worth spending money on. I ordered the 9-course tasting for €270 and drank Dom Pérignon Rosé for €550, paying over €1,000, yet I did not receive proper service at all. I am spending over €10,000 on wine alone on this trip, and it feels like a waste of money here. Anyway, while Michelin is supposed to evaluate only taste, in my opinion, only the view deserves at least two stars. Everything else is just neighborhood bistro level.

24/04/2026: We travelled from London especially to dine at George Restaurant Napoli and certainly were not disappointed. Exceptionally elegant surroundings coupled with a fine view, we opted for the 7 course taster menu 'since 2018', and were taken on a wonderful culinary journey by the Head Chef and his very professional team. Excellent ingredients - all cooked, prepared and served with care, skill, expertise, intelligence and passion. The whole team compliment each other well and everybody works very hard at all times - we enjoyed watching and feeling the high level of concentration and calmness radiating from the professional kitchen. A special shout out and thank you to the Sommelier who looked after us so well throughout - balancing good conversation, offering a personal service that felt genuine whilst remaining professional at all times is not an easy task - impeccable English having worked in London previously - he is an asset to the establishment and really helped to contribute to our overall feeling of complete satisfaction. Very much hope to visit Napoli again in the future and would return in a heartbeat.

01/05/2026: The food at Villa la Collinetta is fabulous! We celebrated our wedding on May 18, 2024, and despite the rain, the staff was exceptional in preparing the decorations and the appetizers in the outdoor area. Our guests were all delighted with both the food and the organization. If there were an opportunity for a sixth star, I would give it for the great attention the kitchen pays to allergies and intolerances. Highly recommended, also for the quality/price ratio! Everything was perfect!

26/12/2025: I went to Christmas lunch with my family, knowing the place and its good reputation well. Unfortunately, I can't say as many positive things this time, especially considering the standard we've grown accustomed to. The set menu was €60, a paltry sum that didn't match the quality offered. A rich and varied appetizer that ended up being tasteless due to the different flavors plated on the same plate, not to mention the citrus-flavored roast turkey, which was actually a low-quality cold cut with a tiny piece of orange for decoration. The bocconcino... the worst I've ever eaten, yet the mozzarella is good, a must-try in our area. The pancetta and cheese were subpar. The pacchero alla pescatrice was washed-out and bland. The lasagna was the only dish that stood out, good and delicate. The owner of the restaurant was sitting with us for lunch... so I think he's fully aware of what he's been doing for his guests... especially because when it came to the bill, he didn't even ask us how we'd eaten. It was truly a lunch to forget, and I'm not kidding, for that price, we certainly would have eaten better at a farmhouse...

02/04/2026: New management, renovated restaurant, and updated menu and dough. Go try it now because it's worth it. If you don't want to go, it's your own business, you'll miss out on a top-notch pizza at a more than fair price. A pizza like this in central Naples costs at least 13 euros for the two pizzas pictured; one costs 8 euros, the other 7 euros. Top!
