04/07/2026: Visiting the coast, we came from Spain. The pasta with sea urchins was excellent. The pasta with langoustines and cherry tomatoes was superb, the fish was excellent, and the wine was magnificent. The service was quick and efficient.

02/07/2026: I knew Cantuccio would be a disappointment, because I'd already been there once and didn't like it at all. I decided to go back, but the outcome was even worse than the first time. I ate the worst raw fish I've ever eaten: the shrimp and scampi were badly cleaned, with the shells not completely removed and the fillet (intestine) still present. So I had to clean them myself at the table. And they weren't fresh. The oysters were even worse: badly opened! The second course wasn't up to par either, as I ordered fish and grilled vegetables as a side, and they brought me a dry amberjack steak, and the vegetables were ridiculous. Obviously for the modest sum of over €100 per person.

02/05/2026: We went for dinner last night. We had rabbit and other dishes, including seafood risotto and spaghetti with clams. Everything was delicious. Excellent and fast service, quality dishes, fresh ingredients, and plenty of them. Umberto, the owner, was very kind and attentive to all our requests. The restaurant is in a very central location. The prices are truly excellent. We will definitely be back.

26/07/2026: I've been happy to return to this place, where the waiters are always very friendly and, all things considered, the food is average. But this time, I find it unacceptable to specifically ask for meat and find myself served a sinewy entrecote (probably vacuum-packed) with a dozen—no more—diced baked potatoes, and pay almost 55 euros for it: pure madness.

21/07/2026: The pizza is superb. The spaghetti is good, the risotto is mediocre… The seafood is also good. The waiter is very attentive and helpful. The live music is a bonus 👏🏼

06/06/2026: We didn't even have time to enter when the very nice gentleman behind the counter thought it best to tell us "7 open" in a rude manner. I, who speak Italian, reminded him that you greet people first, after which you talk, these are the basics of working in contact with customers. Moreover, it was open on maps.

12/05/2026: One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust was soft and thin, the ingredients fresh, and prepared to order. Simply delicious. The staff started arguing amongst themselves, we think because they didn't want us to come in, haha, but we enjoyed the flavor and a good old-fashioned Italian brawl.

You return home, you hear the sea. You're happy. But then, who would have thought that the best risotto in the world isn't found in Milan?

12/07/2026: I have always sought out culinary experiences in the various countries I’ve visited, especially when spending leisure time with my family. On my last trip to Milan, I had the extraordinary opportunity to visit Seta (a Michelin-starred restaurant) and Waby (a Michelin-recommended spot). This year, we set aside time to visit Naples and explore Southern Italy. As usual, and in compliance with the establishment's policies, I booked a family dinner at the George restaurant via WhatsApp. To my dismay, I discovered that my reservation was not for the Michelin-starred restaurant, but for the other, more traditional venue on the rooftop—as explained by the staff member, Silvana. What was most upsetting was having the validity of my reservation questioned—including the very WhatsApp number I had used; they even doubted my word on that point. When I showed the chat log and revisited the restaurant's website—which advertises itself as holding two Michelin stars—the staff member realized there had been an error. She tried to attribute it to a system glitch, a claim I immediately challenged. I argued that the failure wasn't merely technical; it was a failure on the part of a two-Michelin-star establishment to respect a customer who had followed the rules, booked through the official website, and eagerly anticipated a special family dining experience. They tried to make up for my frustration with a complimentary gesture, but nothing could alleviate my disappointment after traveling so far and setting aside a special moment for what I hoped would be another wonderful experience. I certainly cannot comment on the cuisine itself; that would be unfair of me. However, a restaurant does not achieve such prestige without attending to every detail, and in that regard, my frustration was significant. I am sharing my grievance here because, despite following the establishment's booking procedures, I fell victim to an error caused by an operation that does not seem to be on the level of a two-Michelin-star restaurant. The rooftop is indeed beautiful, and the attendant's persistence in facilitating a visit to the traditional restaurant helped mitigate the frustration and unpleasantness of a father having to look for another dinner spot in an unfamiliar place; however, it does not erase the disrespect shown to a customer who had sought out a specific experience at that particular location.

03/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and we had a house antipasto, delicious tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and, to top it all off, a sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms. Even though the menu wasn't very extensive, the dishes were all delicious, so much so that I don't have any photos to post because we ate everything before we could even get our phones out. A truly positive experience.

13/04/2026: We were in the area and decided to stop for lunch... a welcoming atmosphere, excellent local cuisine. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be back with friends.

12/07/2026: Terrible experience and paradoxical situation at the entrance Highly not recommended. A nightmare experience both in terms of service and safety. We visited this place in a group of seven. The experience started badly: at the entrance, there was an unauthorized parking attendant regulating traffic with a chair and leaving us an anonymous ticket with a motorcycle number. The real problem arose at the exit: she demanded €3 and, when we refused to pay for illegal parking, violently pushed the chair in front of my friend's motorcycle to physically prevent her from leaving. To defuse the situation and out of fear, my friend was forced to give her the €3. An unacceptable scene bordering on extortion. Added to this was the disastrous service: we sat down and ordered seven pizzas at 8:30 PM. Despite repeated reminders and constant apologies from the staff ("yours are next"), the pizzas didn't arrive at the table until 10:30 PM. Waiting two hours for pizzas is a sign of serious disorganization. Combine this with the complete lack of customer protection from abusive and aggressive individuals at the door, and the overall assessment is overwhelmingly negative. We will never set foot in there again.

18/07/2026: My partner and I had lunch yesterday after a dentist appointment. I ordered a house appetizer, but the cured meats weren't good quality, and I left most of it on my plate. I then ordered two cod dishes: one house and one salad. Due to my dental problems, I immediately realized I wouldn't be able to eat the cod salad. So I asked to cancel the order before even starting the appetizer. The waitress told me that the chef had already boiled the cod. Unfortunately, when the dish arrived, the cod was cold from the refrigerator, so that explanation seemed unlikely. Despite the request having been made promptly, they refused to cancel the dish or find a solution. In the end, I paid for it anyway and took it home, since I wasn't able to eat it at the time. I had the feeling that the only concern was getting the €15 for the dish. When I got it home, that is, to Rome, I had to throw it away because it wasn't any good anymore, so it was also a waste of unnecessary food. I was very disappointed, especially because I was looking for a restaurant near the dentist where I could stop for lunch every time I had an appointment. Losing a regular customer for €15 seems like a real shame. A disappointing experience. I definitely won't be returning. I hope the restaurant responds to understand the reason for all this. I should also add that at the end of the meal, a man came over to ask how it went, and when I explained the problem, he ran away, saying he didn't know anything. Absurd.

31/05/2026: Very nice, unique place, local food. We ate cavatelli with puleio, a local aromatic herb. Cod alla pertecaregna was excellent. Good cuts of meat and well-prepared vegetables. Guitar music played in the background with traditional Neapolitan pieces, kindly played by an elderly gentleman. We will definitely be back.

27/05/2026: The view is beautiful, but unfortunately the overall experience did not match the price or expectations. The hotel is quite far from the center and transportation is very inconvenient and limited. Taxi availability is difficult and expensive, while the shuttle timings are very limited during the day. The rooms feel outdated and poorly designed in terms of lighting, furniture, and overall comfort. Sound insulation is also very weak — you can clearly hear neighboring rooms, doors squeaking, and outside noise, which makes it difficult to fully relax. Most importantly, the price is extremely high for the value offered. The experience simply does not justify the cost compared to the level of comfort, service, and accessibility provided. The location may work for travelers specifically looking for a remote quiet spot with a nice view, but for anyone wanting easy access to Positano and a more comfortable stay, this could become frustrating very quickly.

15/02/2026: Bar none best experience we could have ever had. Giovanni and family were the best hosts you could ask for. Very private and secluded. In house TOP shelf breakfast. Rides into town. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
