31/01/2026: We won't be returning to this place. We didn't like the pizza; it's not the typical pizza you'd expect in the South. The seafood scialatielli are their own invention, but they're not scialatielli, but that's what they're called. We found sand on our plate. Since I don't like leaving reviews without giving them a chance to fix the problem, we told the waiter, who then reported it to the owner. Luckily, she didn't charge us, but she seemed annoyed and didn't offer us alternatives. We left still hungry. It's a touristy place... There are better ones.

06/01/2026: How lovely We went on a Saturday evening during the Christmas period. The place was lovely, the service excellent, and the food good. I had the gnocco alla sorrentina, which was excellent. The others had pizza, which was also very good. We'll gladly return. Congratulations!

09/02/2026: Paradise Restaurant is a local favorite for lovers of traditional local cuisine, particularly the many variations of cod and dishes from Grotte, such as mugliatielli, tripe, and the famous Grotte ciambottella. The ciambella pizza was the surprise of the evening: simple, intense, and authentic. The grilled cod, served with onions, pistachios, and saffron, is also excellent, a perfect combination of sweetness and aroma. Also noteworthy is the Perticaregna-style cod with cruschi peppers, flavorful and bold. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious, but the service is courteous and attentive. The prices are fair, even though it used to be known for being cheaper.

22/09/2025: A true pearl of Ischia! At Trattoria da Peppina di Renato we finally felt we had found the real Italy. The atmosphere was a feast for the senses: authentic, steeped in history and tradition, with every detail in the décor arranged with taste and passion. Francesco, with his stories, guided us not only through the dishes but also through the soul of the island: its soil, its wines, and the deep roots of its cuisine. It felt as though we had been welcomed into the living memory of a family. The grandmother’s meatballs with pine nuts, in their rich tomato sauce, captured me from the very first bite. I truly felt as if they had been prepared by a nonna herself, with that love and patience only a grandmother can give. I can say, without exaggeration, that I had never tasted anything so delicious, so tender, so perfectly balanced. Then came the pasta with rabbit sauce and herbs. Wonderful! Followed by the traditional Ischian rabbit dish, which I had longed to try since arriving on the island. It was intensely aromatic, served with real, rustic fried potatoes. And yes, we followed Francesco’s advice: we even did "la scarpetta"!!! Dipping bread into the rabbit sauce was a revelation. We paired the meal with a local Biancolella, produced just a few houses up the hill: fresh, crisp, and mineral, with that volcanic rock note that gives Ischia its name as the "green island". The evening ended with two special digestifs. One was made of arugula, unique and vibrant, and the other was Piperna, a true spirit of the island. A must try! This was not just dinner, but a journey into tradition, authenticity, and warmth. Thank you from the heart for an unforgettable evening. We will carry this inspiration back to our own little Italian restaurant in Germany, and we hope to return soon, at least once more, to relive this magic.

12/09/2025: Wonderful evening. Professional and very helpful staff. Excellent food quality and absolutely reasonable prices. What more can I say... the tradition and history of Ischian cuisine with expertly combined reinterpretations. The place is beautiful and exudes joy with a hint of nostalgia... all accompanied by the greatest voice and guitar on the island of Ischia. Well done guys (did you give your lighter back?)

04/01/2026: We stopped at this restaurant for lunch by chance. The location overlooks the sea, with a beautiful view and a fairly well-kept interior. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. The table service is impeccable, the restrooms are always clean, and the valet parking is excellent. The cuisine is modern with a nod to Neapolitan tradition. Quality ingredients and extremely fresh fish. I highly recommend it; we'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: I had the mussel soup. I absolutely don't recommend it: the lupini beans were closed, the mussels were few and skimpy, and the octopus was nonexistent. The freselle had sauce underneath for added volume. In short, a rip-off that cost €18.00.

18/01/2026: I gave it 1 star because I went to the restaurant last night and was very disappointed. I don't think I'll go back, but I don't recommend it anymore. I was with my family. First, a slightly strange and unconventional waiter came over. I asked him how much a white wine cost. He said €12. Then the arrogant, slightly chubby owner came over (P.S. his breath even smelled a bit). He swore at me in front of my family, saying that the white wine cost €20. From there, I took my family and left. I won't be back, but I'll be back.

28/12/2025: Excellent experience. Authentic food, professionally prepared. The atmosphere is welcoming, both for the location and the friendliness of the staff. We had lunch today, four of us, in a warm and comfortable room where we enjoyed delicious pasta and tender meat. The prices matched the food and service. Compliments to all the staff. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: '80s experience, prices as if they were in Italian lire (very fair), homemade, quality food, a family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere, and a great area for picnics or for children to play outside. Highly recommended.

31/10/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service was quick but not too fast, the food was excellent, and the view of the harbor and the sea was relaxing. It's reasonably priced for the quality and service (€90 for two people, including an aperitif, a main course, a dessert, and a coffee each). I highly recommend it!

19/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. Very friendly staff. The price is what you would expect in such a place, but it was well worth it. The spaghetti alla vongole and the tuna were excellent.

We've been back twice, and the best seafood dish I've ever had was the linguine alla Santa Lucia. Highly recommended. The staff is kind and helpful. Well done.

06/01/2026: A fantastic recommendation for lunch/dinner in Sorrento at a great price and with excellent quality. A family-run restaurant with friendly service and honest pricing. They don't try to charge extra for services that aren't listed on the bill. The Carbonara is one of the best I've ever had. And their spaghetti alla Nerano is some of the best on the coast.

He recommended Neapolitan creamy white sauce with black truffle flakes, paired with a delicious Barolo. I attached a picture here in case anyone wants to try. Best experience ever! Grazie mille!

08/03/2026: Lured by reviews and Instagram posts, we had lunch here. We immediately got the impression of a low-key tourist spot. They don't have a wine list, and they only offer the house wine. The waiter kindly brought us the available bottles of white wine, but that selection, at the modest price of €30, turned out to be mediocre. The appetizer was a standard fare, pasta with potatoes and provola cheese, forgettable. Naples has many better places than this.

06/03/2026: The pizza is delicious...but the pasta e fagioli with mussels topped with pizza is exquisite...every time I go to Naples we go back...I recommend Antica Capri.
