19/10/2025: We'd been missing Dragonara for a long time, and honestly, today at lunch we were a little disappointed. A Dragonara appetizer, two linguine with a few clams and various lupini beans, a single fried main course, and two semifreddos totaled €126. Unfortunately, as I pointed out to the waiter, some of the lupini beans had gone bad and had sand in them (of course, the chef doesn't have a scanner to check the quality of the seafood, but smelling them is!), so we left halfway through. Never mind, being charged €48 for two first courses was a real drag, and then a half-liter bottle of wine, an open course, cost €14...and yet I've never seen prices like this before...the place is truly beautiful, so we also paid for the view. I'll think twice about returning.

24/07/2025: This was my first time in Positano, and I never usually write reviews, but this time, I just had to! We had dinner at Ristorante Mirage and everything was simply amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with a special mention for the seafood incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. From the attentive service to the stunning view and relaxing atmosphere, it was an experience truly worth sharing. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: 28 euros for a very mediocre vongole, 25 euros for 4 shrimp (literally)... Have lived in Italy for 10 years and disappointed in myself for falling for such a tourist trap. Don't recommend.

23/09/2025: The food was pretty paltry for what we paid. We were in a hurry, so we only got one dish per person. There were two of us plus drinks (water and Coke), and we paid 60 euros. Absurd. We had to add salt to everything. A typical crowded, touristy place where I think the seasoning is lost. The service was very good, though, and the waiters were extremely helpful.

23/09/2025: On Saturday, September 20th, we had lunch for my sister-in-law's graduation. The setting was elegant, with generous appetizers and truly excellent food, especially the spaghetti alla Nerano, light and perfectly al dente. The staff was helpful, polite, and even friendly.

18/10/2025: A chapter titled "CONFIDENTIALITY". Around 4:00 PM, we booked a table for four people that evening. Arriving at 9:03 PM, we were told to wait a few minutes outside the restaurant. The first 20 minutes passed, and when we asked about the timing, we were told that our table would be free shortly. Another 15 minutes later, we were still outside. We asked for an update, but instead of receiving any apologies for the disorganization, in a haughty and arrogant tone, they told us to wait a little longer because "it's Saturday; after all, it's only a 30-minute wait; etc., etc." Meanwhile, a table for six had become available, and it would have been nice to sit down. At 9:40 PM, we decided to leave: the girl at the entrance was not very surprised... obviously, it won't be the first time!! What can I say: TASTE, yes, but not much passion.

13/10/2025: The Capricciosa Pizza was AMAZING! The Diavola was good too. We also had a couple Frittatina Classica as an appetizer. Delicious. The deserts looked incredible but we were so stuffed we couldn't eat any more.

12/10/2025: VERY slow service. They didn't bring our food at the same time. They brought our dishes one by one, an hour apart!!! And it was spaghetti and a pizza. No explanation and no consideration. Noisy place.

11/10/2025: It's slow service and little attention to the customer. My brother-in-law's dish was forgotten. More than half the dishes use frozen fish. In Naples, it's disgusting. I ate cold mussels.

06/09/2025: This is not a trivial review! My family and I in first and second generation have been taken care at Pinocchio for almost two decades. The food and its highest level of Mediterranean manifestation requires PASSION and at a same time a humble and critical approach. This is a place where real humans feel cosy and taken care.

10/09/2025: We were there again this summer with a group of 35 people, including adults and children. A summer staple. The food is excellent, from the cold cuts to the side dishes and cheeses, everything is delicious, even the pizza. The highlight... great meat.

08/06/2025: This was a spot I would describe as a complete tourist trap- No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par. Gnocchi Sorentina Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

22/07/2025: Entramos despretensiosamente no restaurante e nos surpreendemos com um serviço excelente e uma comida maravilhosa. O dono nos recebeu muito bem e deu recomendações sobre o que pedir. Tudo estava extremamente fresco e delicioso. Recomendo a massa com frutos do mar e a torta de ricota de búfalo com pera. Nunca tínhamos comido nada igual. Parada obrigatória em Pompeia! Vale muito a vista!

17/10/2025: I'd been years ago, and honestly, the quality of the pizza was significantly superior. I found the pizza dough rubbery, and the cheese inedible after a few minutes, so much so that it had become elastic. The guy who served us was very professional, and the atmosphere was very commercial. Definitely an experience not to be repeated.

13/10/2025: bellissimo and perfecto! Loved my experience here, it was my last day of my holidays and I have travelled from north to south of Italy. Here I found my little paradise. Food was generous and delicious! The location is brilliant as it's just off the beaten track where you can really appreciate the beautiful of the area without the crazy crowds! The staff are very helpful and friendly, I want them to be popular but not too much as I really enjoyed how chilled atmosphere it was here. Missing this little paradise and looking forward to returning to try other dishes. Grazie mille! 🙏🏽💕

24/09/2025: On the Chiaia waterfront... If it weren't for 8,000 cars honking around you, it would be beautiful, with a view of Vesuvius and the marina... The doughnuts and gelato are fantastic. The savory snacks are simple but very good.

22/09/2025: Mergellina's historic café, famous for its doughnuts and sweets in general. It's a regular stop for me every time I'm in town, but it's also a popular hangout in the evenings.

19/10/2025: We had this restaurant very close to the hotel, and it was perfect for breakfast; we even went there for lunch one day. Highly recommended. The barista is very attentive and friendly, and made us feel at home every time we returned. He's also a true professional: the coffees and cappuccinos he made us were delicious. The price is reasonable, the restaurant is spacious, and the terrace is very pleasant. One day we felt like eating there and tried their pizzas, which we also really enjoyed. We definitely recommend it, and if we return to Naples, we'll return to the Pomodorino Café as well.
