19/01/2026: It had been a long time since I'd received such poor service in a restaurant. Apparently, the day's sales figures were high enough, and Alfred Hitchcock's long-lost cousin was able to serve us... his disdain.
We left a few steps away for a much better time.
16/01/2026: We had the fish menu and I have to say everything was excellent. The seafood risotto was fantastic, as was the fried shrimp and calamari 💙

18/10/2025: I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could for the food plus the customer service.
The waiter was the best. She kinda guided us on the menu of what the order would be like. Everything she brought out later was on point.
Excellent service, food quality and choices, and delicious wine.
We had a great time. They did not rush on your food or anything. When you go there, its guaranteed a great time with great food, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Thank you for all you did to make our night so special!!

11/10/2025: L'Osteria is very well located. There's a lively atmosphere outside the small, cozy garden. We ate here twice. The staff is very friendly, and even though it's very busy and we don't have reservations, the chef always manages to find a table. The food is authentic and very good! The atmosphere is typically Italian, cheerful and relaxed, and you enjoy good food and drink in pleasant company! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

28/10/2025: It was absolutely outrageous! We only had a light lunch since we weren't very hungry – we shared three dishes. At the end, they charged us an extra €3 per person as a service charge, so a total of €12 for four people, and then another 10% service charge on top of that (another €12).
When I asked why the service charge was doubled, they said one was for "taxes" and the other for the staff. So, basically, €24 in tips – completely excessive! Never again will I fall into such a tourist trap!

I stayed in an external room accessible by wooden stairs, nothing serious; I can still manage it.
Very spartan.
The location is perfect for visiting towers and castles.

Family-run hotel, a bit dated but partially renovated...
Simple and basic rooms
Good breakfast and dinner, but there's no buffet, and service is a bit slow for those with small children...
Very friendly staff
Great location for traveling up and down the Aosta Valley
Definitely worth considering for my next visit to the valley!

07/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. Excellent quality. Traditional dishes slightly revamped. Excellent service. Reasonable price. The only drawback: a completely personal consideration. I have an allergy to "extravagant" dishes (tableware). I don't see why they shouldn't use regular dishes.

31/01/2026: We won't be returning to this place. We didn't like the pizza; it's not the typical pizza you'd expect in the South. The seafood scialatielli are their own invention, but they're not scialatielli, but that's what they're called. We found sand on our plate. Since I don't like leaving reviews without giving them a chance to fix the problem, we told the waiter, who then reported it to the owner. Luckily, she didn't charge us, but she seemed annoyed and didn't offer us alternatives. We left still hungry.
It's a touristy place... There are better ones.
06/01/2026: A fantastic recommendation for lunch/dinner in Sorrento at a great price and with excellent quality. A family-run restaurant with friendly service and honest pricing. They don't try to charge extra for services that aren't listed on the bill. The Carbonara is one of the best I've ever had. And their spaghetti alla Nerano is some of the best on the coast.

01/02/2026: I had the mussel soup. I absolutely don't recommend it: the lupini beans were closed, the mussels were few and skimpy, and the octopus was nonexistent. The freselle had sauce underneath for added volume. In short, a rip-off that cost €18.00.
06/01/2026: I was traveling in Italy and stopped at this restaurant.
The marinade was very fresh and the pasta was truly delicious.
I absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area!

The only flaw... the valet parking isn't in keeping with the restaurant's style.

17/01/2026: Fabulous! Suggested by a dear friend, Antonio & Antonio was a delight. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared, the atmosphere inside was cozy, we chose to sit outside, surely an excellent choice when the sea is visible, at night, we suggest inside with the locals (they typically know what they are doing!). What made the evening special - besides the company of dear friends - Armando was the definition of a professional waiter in Italy. Easy going, quick to accommodate, kind, funny, he treated us as if we were long last friends while being discreet and attentive.
09/01/2026: Excellent pizza, unwelcoming service (waiters argue among themselves in front of customers, which shouldn't happen), but otherwise the food is of a higher quality than other nearby places.
I recommend it!

30/12/2025: (I'm local) Unfortunately, this is not an experience I would recommend ever. The food was not fresh (the ravioli were soggy, broken, and served with a very watery sauce), and cleanliness was seriously lacking (dusty glasses and hands touching the dishes). The prices are very high for the quality offered. Almost 100€ for 1 anchioves, clearly not fresh fried, 2 ravioli, 1 water, half house wine. It did not feel like an authentic Caprese experience or Italian level. The owner was kind and the place itself is very nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.
24/12/2025: A wonderful restaurant in Anacapri. The owner is simply wonderful.
