09/02/2026: Paradise Restaurant is a local favorite for lovers of traditional local cuisine, particularly the many variations of cod and dishes from Grotte, such as mugliatielli, tripe, and the famous Grotte ciambottella. The ciambella pizza was the surprise of the evening: simple, intense, and authentic. The grilled cod, served with onions, pistachios, and saffron, is also excellent, a perfect combination of sweetness and aroma. Also noteworthy is the Perticaregna-style cod with cruschi peppers, flavorful and bold. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious, but the service is courteous and attentive. The prices are fair, even though it used to be known for being cheaper.

11/04/2026: Hunger drove us to this place after a six-hour visit to Pompeii. I found the price-performance ratio reasonable. The pizza and lasagna were "good," but that was about it. It was enough to fill you up, but it's not where you can expect to experience the real Italy. It's located right next to an entrance to the museum, so the restaurant is practically next to a parking lot, which wasn't ideal since many tour buses were also stopping there.

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

03/01/2026: I haven't had the opportunity to express an opinion because you can't open a restaurant in a place where there's no parking and no place to park. It's absurd, and it's a shame not to give customers access to it. It's not a small town; Naples is a major city. Simply shameful!

10/02/2026: 3.5/5 Our first night in Pisciotta. The food was fine for the price, nothing exceptional but completely acceptable. Since we were eating later in the evening we missed the sunset which we're sure would have added to the experience. Service was good and atmosphere was pleasant. Not sure that we would return in the future, but we didn't regret eating here. Good, not great.

25/03/2026: If you're in Sorrento and want to eat truly well, Trattoria da Emilia is a surefire choice. Simple but well-prepared cuisine, fresh ingredients, and dishes that reflect true tradition. The fish is excellent, the pasta dishes are full of flavor, and everything is uncomplicated. The difference, however, is the atmosphere: eating practically by the sea, with a view like this, changes everything. Friendly service, fast and genuine. A place you'll gladly return to, without thinking twice.

22/03/2026: Historic trattoria in Marina Grande with indoor and outdoor dining, and a few seats right by the sea for spectacular views. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious gnocchi alla sorrentina.

06/01/2026: We stumbled upon this trattoria in the Spanish Quarter, and the owner was kind enough to find us a place to dine (six people, the place was full). We've been back twice, and the best seafood dish I've ever had was the linguine alla Santa Lucia. Highly recommended. The staff is kind and helpful. Well done.

15/03/2026: Excellent food, traditional dishes, and authentic flavors! Delicious porcini mushrooms, fantastic fusilli al tegamino, and truly excellent lamb! Not to mention the fried cod 🔝 The owners are friendly and courteous, we'll be back!
