04/05/2026: I had a wonderful time. I'm celiac, and eating gluten-free isn't a problem here; in fact, they're AIC-certified and understand exactly what safety means for us. I tried everything from the entree to the dessert, and I have to say everything was delicious, fresh, and authentic. I highly recommend it.

31/07/2026: The older waiter was incredibly unfriendly and showed no interest in us, as we were tourists. We wanted to enjoy the view with dessert and a drink, but he told us to go to a bar, as they only served proper food here. Extremely rude. The view is indeed very beautiful, but the prices are equally steep. It's rather secluded on a hill, and parking is limited.

As for desserts, nothing, my daughter wanted a simple crepe... Then I wanted tonic water, they had a half-liter jar for 13.50, bhooo... but be good... besides my wife a lemon swipes, but nearby they only brought you peanuts, I asked for rustic pizzas etc. etc., sorry, I'll pay for it separately, he replied, not possible, I had to take what they said, or rather, better to say the packages they had at much higher prices, like a cheese board for 18 yesterday... Lounge bar very different from others... I strongly advise against it, the only positive thing is that being on Vesuvius it was cool...

All the ingredients used are top-quality. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. In short, a superb culinary experience!

When you first arrive, it's so simple you can barely believe it, but then... friendly staff, quality ingredients, and perfectly leavened pizza dough. The result was wow. Everything was delicious and the value for money was excellent. We'll definitely be back and I recommend it to everyone. The Diavola is sublime.

06/04/2026: Nothing special, the fried meat was good. The pasta alla genovese was disappointing, with only onions and no meat. The only positive note was the pastiera, excellent. The prices were a bit high for Naples.

22/09/2025: A true pearl of Ischia! At Trattoria da Peppina di Renato we finally felt we had found the real Italy. The atmosphere was a feast for the senses: authentic, steeped in history and tradition, with every detail in the décor arranged with taste and passion. Francesco, with his stories, guided us not only through the dishes but also through the soul of the island: its soil, its wines, and the deep roots of its cuisine. It felt as though we had been welcomed into the living memory of a family. The grandmother’s meatballs with pine nuts, in their rich tomato sauce, captured me from the very first bite. I truly felt as if they had been prepared by a nonna herself, with that love and patience only a grandmother can give. I can say, without exaggeration, that I had never tasted anything so delicious, so tender, so perfectly balanced. Then came the pasta with rabbit sauce and herbs. Wonderful! Followed by the traditional Ischian rabbit dish, which I had longed to try since arriving on the island. It was intensely aromatic, served with real, rustic fried potatoes. And yes, we followed Francesco’s advice: we even did "la scarpetta"!!! Dipping bread into the rabbit sauce was a revelation. We paired the meal with a local Biancolella, produced just a few houses up the hill: fresh, crisp, and mineral, with that volcanic rock note that gives Ischia its name as the "green island". The evening ended with two special digestifs. One was made of arugula, unique and vibrant, and the other was Piperna, a true spirit of the island. A must try! This was not just dinner, but a journey into tradition, authenticity, and warmth. Thank you from the heart for an unforgettable evening. We will carry this inspiration back to our own little Italian restaurant in Germany, and we hope to return soon, at least once more, to relive this magic.

What more can I say... the tradition and history of Ischian cuisine with expertly combined reinterpretations. The place is beautiful and exudes joy with a hint of nostalgia... all accompanied by the greatest voice and guitar on the island of Ischia. Well done guys (did you give your lighter back?)

14/12/2025: Every time we return to this restaurant, it's a pleasant confirmation. The cuisine offers refined dishes, carefully crafted and prepared down to the smallest detail, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The staff is always friendly and professional, making the atmosphere even more welcoming. The prices are fair and competitive, certainly more than adequate for the quality offered. A place truly worth recommending and, above all, one we'll keep returning to.

16/05/2026: Beautifully executed cuisine ,they have an extensive wine list and the owner is extremely welcoming. Highlights were the octopus in a pea sauce and the roast pork. We had a lovely meal which ended with sone complimentary liqueurs. Bravi i will definitely return.

13/05/2026: Terrible experience, unprofessional, and disrespectful to the customer. I booked a table on March 5th for May 31st, and on May 12th they called to say they'd forgotten about a communion and the table was no longer available. On top of the incredible damage, I won't be able to celebrate my event. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Everything was simply perfect: the highest quality dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients and with meticulous attention to detail. Every course was delicious, and you could sense their love for cooking and respect for the ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. The atmosphere was also elegant, relaxed, and very pleasant. It's one of the best restaurants I ate at during my stay in Salerno. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be back!

10/07/2026: We were walking to find another restaurant we couldn’t find and when we passed by La Fenice we noticed the fresh fish outside in a cooler and decided to go here instead. I’m SO glad we did. Our server was lovely- suggesting things we didn’t think about and both of our meals were not only beautiful but tasted just as good as they looked! I had shrimp with lemons and melons drizzled in balsamic and my husband had fresh fish in a delicious lemon sauce. We will definitely be back!
