06/10/2025: This place has the very Italian pasta we've been looking for, but can't find, and the reason we came to Italy. We ordered four types, and every single dish was amazing! The pizza was delicious! I highly recommend it!

04/10/2025: By far the best meal we have had while in Sorrento and definitely the best service. Staff were friendly, warm and attentive, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Beautiful, charming restaurant and definitely one to visit. Thank you to all the staff at Ristorante La Lanterna.

06/10/2025: Amazing restaurant with a great food. We tried several pizzas, salads, ravioli, pastas. Everything was good. Also, they are allergy friendly. My sister has allergy to sesame and nuts and she could eat all the dishes.

03/10/2025: This is the first place we visited upon arriving to the coast. The food was good, but the service was INCREDIBLE. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive. They answered all of our questions. The chef came out to greet us and chat with us at the end of our meal. We felt so special and I would definitely return if ever on the coast again.

12/09/2025: The first time, the best! They made me feel like family, they made sure everything was impeccable. They made me get closer and experience the local culture. The food was made with a lot of love, which I felt in every sip. Thank you to the team and the chef Paolo for this experience and for the patience they had. Everything they did was, is and will be art. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. For me it remains something of the soul, which I will definitely want to share with my loved ones❤️🙏

09/09/2025: During our stay in Pompeii we dined in this restaurant which truly deserves its Michelin star: the tasty menu with a perfect wine pairing and the chef's visit at the end of the dinner convinced us.

17/10/2025: An excellent dinner by the sea. They have a beautiful terrace, right in front of the beach, with a charming atmosphere. The service was very attentive and the food excellent, especially the fried shrimp and squid, tasty and with an authentic seafood flavor. An experience to remember and definitely a place worth experiencing.

14/10/2025: It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, made with top-quality ingredients (very fresh fish). We spent €60 for two, including house wine and water for two. The owner was very kind from the start. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area; you won't be disappointed.

Had the best Gnocchi ever and leave some room for their dessert selection! May need a res. We had to come back second night.

01/10/2025: This restaurant was by far the best one we visited during our entire stay in Italy, offering excellent service and incredibly kind hospitality. The recommendations and the dishes we tried were absolutely spectacular and unique. My palate was delighted, and my heart was full from such a wonderful experience. I would like to make a special mention of the lady who served us. She was exceptionally kind and patient, and since we don’t speak the language, she kindly communicated with us in Spanish, which made us feel very comfortable. The owner was also extremely welcoming and even offered us a pair of sunbeds so we could enjoy a few relaxing hours at the beach. This place is truly a must-visit! 12/10/2025: We stayed at a hotel near this restaurant for a hiking holiday. We stumbled upon it by chance during our first walk. It looked cozy inside, and the menu appealed to us. Back at the hotel, we immediately made a reservation for the evening. We were lucky, because both the terrace and the restaurant were completely full that evening. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were able to choose our own table, as we were the first guests. Wow, what a fantastic meal we had that evening. From antipasti, primi, and dolce. Everything was excellent! And the limoncello made it very enjoyable. This delicious experience immediately led us to make a reservation for the next day. We had a primi, secondi, and dolce. And since this was also so fantastic, we made another reservation for the following day 🙈🙈. We'll be eating at this restaurant again tomorrow. We're already looking forward to it. Thank you for enriching our stay with your hospitality and delicious dishes. See you Monday for our (for now) last dinner. Grazie mille!!

12/07/2025: We had dinner two weeks ago, something incredible away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, a magical setting with music in the background and only the view, super welcoming staff, I ate a series of spectacular appetizers, fair prices.

05/09/2025: Honestly, this place is truly a hidden gem! Incredible value for the amount of food we got. We started with mussels swimming happily in a tomato oil broth, then dove into a “rabbit-less” rabbit pasta and a surprisingly not too hearty Ischian bean pasta. All superb—highly recommend

02/09/2025: We went there one evening with the family, having followed the recommendations on the internet, and we were not disappointed! The place can go unnoticed when you pass by in the street, but not its cuisine or its atmosphere! You can see that it is a well-known and sought-after address despite its small size. We had a starter and a main course each, and my husband's choices were to die for! Tuna tartare with exotic fruits and spaghetti with white meat ragout. They were lovely and offered us a very small appetizer as well as a small glass of limoncello. We recommend it!

04/10/2025: We went for lunch and it was so on point! We had 2 kinds of pasta - the truffles and the ravioli, that was so special and perfect flavours. After that, we gad the entrecôte and the filet, wow.. we couldn’t stop eating, it was delicious! The place is very unique and authentic look and the service was very good.

25/09/2025: Found through Fuoricasello, a hidden gem but a truly sought-after gem. The location is historic and very quaint, and the owner (I believe) is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its cuisine. The food was truly delicious, considering the price was truly reasonable. Highly recommended!

17/09/2025: A small restaurant in Salerno that offers typical local food at a more than reasonable price. We ordered fried fish to share and then pasta, delicious! I recommend ordering the daily specials from the blackboard to take advantage of the fresh produce. The staff was also very friendly, a great choice!

04/10/2025: It is my fault that I didn’t read the bad reviews and the owner’s replies to these reviews before I frequent this unprofessional restaurant. I found TWO, NOT ONE, WEEVILS (those rice bugs usually found in an opened bag of pasta) on my gnocchi. I noticed them as soon as my dish was served, and immediately brought it to the waiter’s attention (a middle age man). To my surprise, he said NO WAY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, it must have fallen into the dish from the plants I’m sitting next to. Denying the fact that there are indeed two bugs on my dish like I put the damn bugs there, instead of fixing the problem. I don’t care how the bugs get there. I want my pasta bugs free. The first thing you should do is get rid of the damn bugs or get me a new dish. Not defending yourself like I am accusing you. Avoid this restaurant at all cost even though the restaurant on the other side of the street has a long line.
