02/05/2026: We had such a wonderful experience here. We don’t speak any Italian, but the staff were kind and patient to help us. The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated—perfect for a relaxed and memorable meal. I had the mushroom pasta, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced—cooked to just the right firmness, not overly saucy, yet every strand of pasta was coated in rich, deep flavor. Paired with a local red wine, it was unforgettable. I’m pretty sure I’ll be dreaming about that dish for the rest of my life. I would love to come back again someday. Highly recommend!

The dishes are carefully prepared, full of flavor, and always accompanied by a bit of history, which I was pleasantly informed about with each service. There are many details, not trivial ones, that make a dinner truly enjoyable: fresh flowers on the table, well-made place settings, a pleasant background music. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

05/05/2026: We were at the hotel La Terrazze. In my opinion, this is the best ristorante around the area unless you go further for a ristorante like Al Pesce D’oro. The prices were fair for food and drinks. The foods were excellent. We didn’t order much because we weren’t that hungry and my wife wasn’t feeling well. Clams were fresh and the pizza was excellent. They gave us some limoncello shots as a thank you. I gave some tips. Oh, the tiramisu was excellent. I mean, if Asians says this ristorante is good, what are you waiting for ? We are hard pleasers when t comes to cuisine :)

16/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Yesterday, the two of us dined at La Preferita, hoping for a relaxed and enjoyable evening with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. And that's exactly what we got. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were shown to a wonderful table with a breathtaking view of the sea and Amalfi. Right from the start, we told the staff we weren't in a hurry and wanted to enjoy the evening at our leisure. The visible relief on the team's faces immediately brought a smile to our faces – and that's precisely how the entire evening unfolded: attentive, warm, and pleasantly unhurried. From the antipasti to the primi and secondi, right through to the dolce, everything was superbly prepared and of the highest quality. Every dish was presented with meticulous attention to detail and is highly recommended. Oh yes, and we also received an excellent wine recommendation that perfectly complemented our meal. The personal interaction with the waitresses was also a real treat. Brief conversations blossomed into a warm encounter that made the evening even more special. A huge thank you to the entire La Preferita team for this thoroughly enjoyable evening. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Finally, a small request to all guests: Service staff do a fantastic job every day. A little more respect, appreciation, and genuine communication would benefit many restaurant visits. Why not put your phone aside for an evening and enjoy the people, the food, and the atmosphere? La Preferita more than deserves its 5 stars.

04/05/2026: Everything was excellent, starting with the owners' welcome. The food was exceptional: we ordered a fried fish and a baked sea bream. The fish was incredibly fresh and lightly cooked. Homemade desserts: we ordered the lemon delight. In the evening, we tried the takeout pizzas, including some with unique flavors like zucchini cream, fried meatballs, and provola cheese. Highly recommended.

15/06/2026: Wow, what an amazing experience! We got picked up at our nearby hotel and driven to the restaurant. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean for dinner. Each course was finely crafted with an excellent description by the Maitre d' Antonio who was a member of the family that owned the restaurant. The prior day we had attended a cooking class at their sister hotel Zi'Ntonio so they personalized the evening for us which made us feel really special. But it seemed like everyone got star treatment there. We would definitely recommend.

14/06/2026: I'd give it six stars if I could. Quality food, dishes that capture the chef's story, impeccably told by the dining room team. The entire staff was extremely attentive and made our evening magnificent. Professionalism and hospitality complemented the most delicious flavors on the coast. We'll be back!!

09/05/2026: An unforgettable lunch at the President Restaurant. The food, needless to say, was fantastic: every course had something special while remaining true to tradition, incredible flavors, and truly impeccable service. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. We arrived late due to a taxi strike, but they waited for us without a problem and, in the end, even took care of finding us a ride home. Fantastic people, truly. But beyond the excellent quality, what struck us most was how they managed to make both my grandmother and I feel at home, almost like family—and that wasn't at all a given, considering this was an experience so far removed from our everyday lives. Our deepest congratulations and warmest regards, hoping to see you again soon.

In places where dedication, passion, and craft of fine cuisine are not affected by a dense population, heavy tourist traffic, and an infinite number of compromises. So, no surprise that the finest take on Neapolitan cuisine is waiting for you in Pompei. The "President" restaurant (or should I say its charming couple of owners) offers you exquisite service, respectable hospitality, and a thoughtful tasting menu. It combines the chef's mastery, curiosity, and erudition into a highly cohesive adventure through classic and modern, domestic and foreign, traditional and progressive. The noteworthy work with aromas and aftertastes is continued by a versatile and nuanced (both non-alcoholic and vine) pairing. This detour, made specifically for that place, is not only extremely justified by delicious food and care of hosts, but easily could overshadow the epic historical landmark placed within walking distance from this restaurant.

28/04/2026: If you are traveling in Salerno, I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy some seafood. For reference, I saw quite a few locals eating pizza. I enjoyed the meal so much that I forgot to take photos, so unfortunately, I cannot include them (I don't remember the names of the dishes ^^). The atmosphere is that of a simple local restaurant; language barriers were resolved with kindness (a helper appeared nearby), menu choices were made with recommendations, the taste was very pleasant, and the prices were very reasonable. Although it was house wine, I liked that it was aromatic and (somewhat) full-bodied. I hope those of you wondering where to eat have a delightful meal.

12/06/2026: During our visit to Sorrento, we ate at this highly-rated restaurant. Unfortunately, the dish my wife ordered (spaghetti vongole) was quite good, but the pasta was really undercooked. I know what Italian al dante means, but this was almost crunchy. I had pasta bolognese, which was cooked, but the sauce was rather bland. Furthermore, the menu doesn't mention the cover charge of €3 per person.
