27/10/2025: Our last night…and could not have chosen a more perfect place – probably our overall best dining experience! Arrived before sunset (reservations a must, due to a cozy, intimate dining area) and immediately welcomed by the vivacious Alessia. Along with her aunt and another young lady, they treated us with such hospitality and service that we perhaps spent more time in conversation with them then among ourselves. To listen to their stories of their history and that of the restaurant, dating back some 80-years, made us feel we were having dinner in their home. Add the fact that the atmosphere is set on an elevated covered terrace, with direct views of Amalfi…as the sun set and the lights of Amalfi began to come on, no words can fully describe!!! Group of 8 adults, so we had a chance to try a variety of menu items…the grilled fish, Pasta al Limone (outstanding and so unique to Amalfi), smoked Scamorza cheese in lemon leaves and my favorite, the Tris di Marinati - marinated tuna, swordfish & anchovies. EVERYTHING we had was among the best we had among all the other restaurants during our visit! The perfect ending to our meal…as we came off the elevator to the street below, we were personally greeted by Nicola, the grandfather who began it all!

11/03/2026: A welcoming atmosphere that intrigues with its simplicity and sophistication. The dishes are carefully prepared, full of flavor, and always accompanied by a bit of history, which I was pleasantly informed about with each service. There are many details, not trivial ones, that make a dinner truly enjoyable: fresh flowers on the table, well-made place settings, a pleasant background music. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

04/04/2026: Couldn’t fault this place to be honest. The views are spectacular, the service was absolutely incredible and the food was delicious. We’re beyond impressed with the service and how friendly the staff are. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made sure to remember and take care of us. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are perfect. The tiramisu was a highlight 😍 There is (paid) parking for anyone driving but you do have to get there early (and squeeze in)!!

14/02/2026: I made a reservation online, only to show up and find the restaurant completely closed for the off-season. Seriously? You’re closed but still taking reservations? On February 14, when most places are busy and it’s hard to find an alternative last-minute! Totally unacceptable and incredibly disappointing — update your system if you’re not open.

To celebrate a special birthday, we chose Chef Gramaglia's cuisine, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The welcome and the atmosphere From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the Chef's wife, an extremely professional figure who immediately put us at ease. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, elegant yet with a touch of warmth that makes you feel "at home," making the experience almost familiar despite the exceptionally high level of service. The gastronomic journey From aperitif to dessert, every step was a crescendo of flavors. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, but it's the Chef's skill that makes the difference: The Egg: Simply unforgettable. A balance of textures and temperatures that remains etched in the memory. The Fusillone: ​​It left us literally speechless; a dish worth the trip alone. The Human Touch The real added value was meeting Chef Gramaglia. He's a wonderful person with a rare warmth; chatting with him after the meal was an extremely pleasant moment that further enriched our day. In summary: An experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just "luxury food"—a true experience. Celebrating my birthday here was the best choice for creating memories tied to fantastic flavors.

24/02/2026: Thank you for making such a special day for us, our anniversary, unforgettable, for the special welcome you gave us, and the elegant and relaxing atmosphere that accompanied us throughout the meal. Mrs. Laila was the perfect hostess, and Chef Paolo Gramaglia was superb, surprising us from the first course to the last with dishes that were beautiful to look at but, above all, incredibly delicious. We will definitely return and recommend the President restaurant to anyone who wants to feel at home while savoring unique and exquisite dishes, the result of a combination of the best Neapolitan tradition with the flavors and aromas of distant lands. 13/04/2026: Relaxing atmosphere, server/waiter was very attentive, recommended catch of the day and it was delicious. Beautiful presentation at our table. All the service was friendly, English excellent. We had a complimentary Limincello after dinner and chocolate covered lemon treat. All in all a wonderful Italian experience. Go there! It’s fantastic.

12/04/2026: Lovely quiet trattoria in Sant Agnello. Friendly and accommodating staff. They even agreed to serve us early so we could make our transfer for our flight. Homely feel and its always a good sign when locals use the restaurant. Delicious platters and a very extensive gluten free menu. They even had GF desserts although I was a little full so I did not indulge. Howevervthey do not have GF bread. Please give them a try

08/04/2026: This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Sorrento. Collected by Luigi and taken up into the hills, the school is overlooking the Sorrento as the sun set. We were expertly led through mozzarella making, given some wine and breads to try their delicious olive oils (available to buy). Then me and my children, along with a small group, were taken through the ‘secret’ of good pizza making. The pace was excellent for all ages, just serious enough for us to feel like we’ve learnt how to make really good pizza dough when we get home, but light enough to feel like you’ve had lots of fun. Would highly recommend. Thank you also for making my son’s birthday so special with the tiramisu candle!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and the session was fun, engaging, and very well run. Afterwards, we enjoyed everything we had prepared as a delicious lunch, paired with local wine. I would highly recommend the class, or dining at this fantastic restaurant.
