10/01/2026: We went to this place on the evening of December 27th. The wait was endless, and the staff was rude. We waited two hours for fries and were told, "We're not McDonald's." We waited three hours for pizzas. You can do the math!

29/12/2025: We sat down at 8:15 PM, and the pizza arrived at 10:15 PM! 2 wines selected from the menu were unavailable. Otherwise, the place was comfortable and the atmosphere was refined. (After an excruciating wait), the food was good, but the experience was still negatively impacted by the ridiculously long service times.

14/02/2026: A family-run restaurant that welcomes you warmly and always offers a small fritter while you wait for your order. Very low prices, but high-quality products. Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...

19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯 Cristiano

08/01/2026: The Carnevale Lido offers an authentic experience: you eat right by the sea, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a bit rustic and could use a modernization, but the substance wins over everything. I enjoyed a flavorful baked pasta dish and a very fresh peppered mussel dish, simple but well-made dishes that truly taste of the sea and make for a pleasant and heartfelt lunch.

26/08/2025: We spent fourteen days at this residence, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Starting with the sewer smell in the room every day, which they explained to us was due to nearby drains (I would have liked to know this before arriving). The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved, the sheets sometimes had holes in them, and sometimes they weren't changed. The breakfast service was terrible for a 4-star hotel, so much so that we only used it for a few days, then we left. There's little supervision from the staff in general throughout the property. The location is beautiful, but poorly managed. Our holiday was saved by the lounge bar area, where we were pampered with delicious cocktails and platters. The staff were kind and super helpful. The beach is very beautiful, but in Calabria, when it comes to the sea, there's not much to say; it's a shame about everything else. It's a property we definitely won't return to.

25/08/2025: So, a hotel of this standard in terms of cleanliness disappointed me: dirty bathroom, fixtures full of limescale, closets full of dust. The owners were unfriendly, not at all sociable, never smiled, except for the daughter-in-law with the child who smiled and said hello. Then let's not even talk about the water at the table, which wasn't included. In no other hotel have I ever paid for water at the table. Are you kidding? Not even a jug. I will never return, without some entertainment, without a piano bar in the evening. The food was pretty good, but €2.50 for water with half board is unbearable. I was disappointed because it's a beautiful hotel with an excellent location, but it's not at all valued and is also expensive for the services it offers.

22/02/2026: Really good pizza, friendly and helpful staff. I always enjoy going there! Excellent value for money! It's very busy even during the week. I highly recommend it.

19/11/2025: The restaurant is quite large, also suitable for receptions. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. During our visits, we often choose the platter, which offers generous portions for two. The pizza is also excellent. Prices are good value. On busy evenings, reservations are recommended.

01/11/2025: My favorite place for dinner in Tropea. Delicious food at absolutely fair prices. Lots of fish dishes, a very good wine selection. The Osteria is truly a little gem, tucked away in a quiet side street in the old town. Anyone looking for a relaxing evening with good food in Tropea should definitely stop by.

27/10/2025: 100 points for the service, the friendliness, and the extremely good food. Oh, if only we had something like this in Austria, complete with the weather and the ambiance.

19/12/2025: We chose this restaurant to celebrate two important family occasions, and even though it was our first time, we were truly impressed. The quality of the seafood dishes is excellent, and you can clearly taste the great care and passion the chef puts into every preparation. Also noteworthy are the splendid location, the excellent value, and, above all, the kindness of all the staff. We'll definitely be back; it was a pleasure!

20/09/2025: A restaurant whose location could have great potential. The food and service, unfortunately, were disappointing. If I were to return to Bagnara, unfortunately, it wouldn't be my choice to stop for dinner.

25/12/2025: Beautiful, wide beach, perfect for long walks, with many amenities available. There's a restaurant and a beach bar, where you can book a fantastic boat trip or even rent a boat, as well as pedal boats and more. Suitable for families and accessible to disabled guests, there's paid parking. I recommend it because the sea is gorgeous here too, and it's very convenient for the services it offers. The parking barriers are new; so far, everything's fine.

13/10/2025: From the outside, it looks unassuming. But the seating is very pleasant, and the staff was very friendly and personable. The fish was excellent, as was the caretaker. The price was very fair. It's a shame that today is our last day of vacation and we haven't found our way in before.

04/11/2025: Impeccable service and food exactly as you'd expect. And it's especially pleasant to sit on the terrace overlooking the sea. Not bad.

17/10/2025: Excellent in every way, I don't understand how anyone could complain. Clean and welcoming atmosphere, kindness, courtesy, and hospitality. Excellent food from appetizer to dessert. Location with a fantastic view... Owners and staff are always available. We will definitely be back.
