Every dish is a guarantee of goodness! Highly recommended for those looking for only the best in the kitchen.

13/10/2024: But given such a disorganized and confusing pizzeria: 40 minutes in line to eat nothing. Someone would arrive from the laboratory and bring some pizza to the counter and someone else, immediately afterwards, would pick it up and bring it back inside. There were people who were served immediately and others, like us, who waited without knowing whether we would be served or not. They start preparing your tray by saying that other flavors are about to come out and then they take the pizzas on the prepared tray and give them to others. Eventually we left. And like the rest of us. Without words!

17/09/2024: I went to the castle restaurant one evening in the company of friends and my experience could only be positive. Excellent location by the sea from which you can enjoy a beautiful view, good cuisine, attentive table service with friendly and competent staff. Definitely worth a try for anyone in the area and, as far as I'm concerned, also worth visiting for a romantic evening in the company of the right person. I forgot, good value for money which never hurts.

05/09/2024: Very courteous, friendly service. The pizza was very tasty and the location right by the sea was wonderful! The location is friendly and bright inside, but the outside is in need of renovation.

09/03/2025: If you find yourself in these parts, don't stop! We were there on Women's Day. Poor starter, we chose the starter and pizza menu but the choice of pizza was very limited. You couldn't choose certain pizzas. As a decoration on the table, a dry mimosa which was uniquely sad. Terrible service... not even a mimosa cake or tiramisu for dessert. But a triangle of pizza with almond cream, strawberry and white chocolate chips. The owner was almost annoyed by our questions regarding the menu... €25 per person but with this price we honestly expected a different treatment. We will never go back again!

16/02/2025: I'll start by saying that judging a place by eating there for the first time on a Saturday night is not the best thing to do, but I must say that I expected better. The food itself was good, but the service was a little disorganized. There were 5 of us but they brought out 2 dishes from the kitchen almost an hour before the other 3, so we ended up having dinner in 2 separate moments. The room is very large, so it also happened that there was a table for a birthday, with live music attached. It would probably be good to notify customers when they call in these cases. Final misadventure also at the payment, with no one at the cash register and the staff who kept passing by and saying "we're coming now". They even gave us the receipt but no one came to make us pay for at least 15 minutes.

04/04/2025: Uncaring staff, they think about talking about their own affairs between colleagues and don't care about customers, sometimes you have to point out to them that you are waiting for breakfast, ps: I don't understand if the owner is aware or doesn't care!

10/02/2025: Good food, good price...We went there 3 times and left good tips. Last time we only left 15 minutes after 3. The boss made her frustration clear to us...then we stopped going. It's a shame, we were in Scalea for another week...there are other restaurants too. See photo of Gallo Bianco, they are friendly and warm, even if you sit for a long time.

30/03/2025: Dopo quindici giorni.... a mente fredda.... il ricordo dell'onda del mare che si infrangeva alla porta finestra, unitamente valutato alla squisitezza delle pietanze servite ed alla gentilezza di Tonino Polistena ed alla cortesia di Francesco non ci fa pensare ad altro che alla voglia di ritornare.... grazie

28/03/2025: Llegamos al ristorante después de las 8 pm y nos sentamos inmediatamente por Francesco. Después de leer el menú impreso, aprendimos que era ligeramente diferente del menú de su sitio web. Le preguntamos a Francesco si era posible para el chef para preparar para nosotros un plato que no en el menú impreso. ¡Sí fue su respuesta! Nos alegró mucho saber que era posible. Esto era tan importante - no tuvimos que salir y buscar otro ristorante a esa hora en la oscuridad. Además de nuestros excelentes primeros platos, el plato de verduras a la parrilla era el mejor que habíamos comido durante nuestra estancia en Scilla.

05/02/2025: Pizza diavola che di diavola non aveva assolutamente nulla, praticamente una margherita con 4 ma 4 di numero fettine di schiacciata dolce come lo zucchero. Impasto, con molta probabilità fatto 5 6 ore prima, lievitazione pari a 0, sugo crudo. Unica nota positiva il personale. Per tutto il resto una delusione non degna del nome.

24/02/2025: Complimenti ai proprietari per la location, ristorante molto bello e organizzato con tutti i confort , purtroppo in sala i responsabili non hanno cura del cliente , i clienti sono solo numeri e di questo mi è dispiaciuto tanto. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti ( surgelati) e due secondi che sono arrivati dopo un ora , ma vista l'affluenza è stato un piacere aspettare , purtroppo invece di portarmi un orata come ordinato mi è arrivato un filetto d'orata di 100 grammi , ci sono rimasto male e il responsabile invece di cambiare la pietanza , ha detto che lo avrebbe riferito alla cassa per depennare dal conto, mi dispiace ma non si fa così , se non c'erano orate avrei scelto altro, se vengo al ristorante voglio ordinare e mangiare come preferisco , pazienza vi consiglio di prendervi cura dei clienti perché il locale è bellissimo.

30/12/2024: We had the displeasure of having lunch in this place, which we already knew, on December 27th. Leaving aside the service which was not very interested in how our lunch was going and whether we were satisfied, the food seemed "old" and reheated among other things badly. All the dishes arrived almost cold from the first courses, through the second courses, to the side dishes. We also noticed differences in dishes between our table and the others, which left us stunned. Even the dessert (the only dessert available to everyone) seemed several days old. We are truly sorry to have to leave this highly negative review.

29/03/2025: Requests were addressed/price performance was top/quality was very good The only thing that needs to be optimized is the serving process. When the meat was finished, the side dishes came first, but it wasn't that tragic for us! Very nice restaurant and very nice and polite staff.

11/10/2024: The service was very nice and attentive, the starter was very tasty. However, the main course was literally swimming in oil and the pizza tasted very salty, but the dough was good. I asked for basil for my pizza..it was infested with insects :(
