06/05/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, and the terrace is definitely worth the trip! Excellent food, from the peppered mussels to the seafood risotto to the penne al pomodoro for the kids! Everything! But the truly delicious dish was the fried calamari, wonderful! We'll definitely be back! 😊

02/05/2026: I visited Ristorante Maris, a historic establishment that has been around for over thirty years, and precisely for this reason, my expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the reputation it has built over time. The location is rather small, so much so that the terrace was needed to accommodate a larger number of customers. The service, while courteous, seemed sluggish at times; for example, drinks were served at an unsuitable temperature. Even on the culinary front, I would have expected something more, especially for a restaurant specializing in fish. The portions seemed rather small, and the dishes, overall, were less rich than one might expect from a place with such a long tradition. I recognize the restaurant's history and commitment, but I believe some aspects could be revised to offer an experience more in line with the expectations that a name like Maris inevitably generates.

22/06/2026: The atmosphere is truly spectacular, very well-kept and pleasant, definitely one of the place's strong points. We ordered a takeout fried fish dish, however, and unfortunately the food experience wasn't up to par. The rings were rubbery and unpleasant to eat. Furthermore, for the €16 price tag, the portion size was truly meager: very little in the portion, not quite up to par with what one would expect. It's a shame, because the place is worth a visit for its atmosphere, but the value for money of the takeout fried fish definitely needs reconsidering.

14/06/2026: Good food, even 4-star, but unfortunately the service was slow—about 45 minutes for a pizza, a lasagna, a parcel, and a pasta dish with two meatballs. That said, the place wasn't full.

20/05/2026: We've been enjoying our holiday in Badolato for a few days now. We ate here for the first time on Sunday, right after our arrival. Every dish we've tried so far has been delicious – whether pizza, pasta, meat dishes, or fish. The service is incredibly friendly and they're always happy to explain everything to us. Our dog is always welcome, too. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. We'd love to come back and will definitely recommend you to others.

01/10/2025: Hotel with beautiful, functional, clean rooms and an excellent view. Basically, everything you need in a hotel. Breakfast is more than adequate, and the staff are very friendly. Several good restaurants are nearby for dinner. An excellent starting point for visiting the surrounding area and Reggio.

16/09/2025: I've been from Catanzaro since I was born, and since I love the sea so much, I should know every place, but I assure you, that's not the case 🤣🤣🤣. I discovered this place purely by chance, and among the many beaches lined up, my "snack buddy" Nilde asked me which one inspires you? And I replied: "This one, definitely this one, because it has these elegant umbrellas, this tidy beach, and then I don't know, but this spot inspires me 🤣🤣." And so it was, 9 days of pure relaxation, thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it, also for the kindness of Maria, her sister, and everyone else who helped make these days of vacation truly unforgettable. 07/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, well-maintained lido, excellent restaurant. Everyone is very kind and friendly, except for the guy (maybe the son?) who accompanies you to your umbrella. Prices are medium to high, but from my experience, it seems like even in Calabria they're overdoing it, thus hindering tourism growth.

10/05/2026: Excellent pizza, quality ingredients, wood-fired, truly delicious. Other pizzerias serve pizza with raw tomatoes and no flavor. In Scalea, Corsaro knows what it's doing. I recommend it if you really enjoy eating good pizza, with excellent ingredients and prices.

16/05/2026: First time here, and it definitely won't be the last! I felt like I was part of the family. A warm welcome from the owner, Francesco, and the local, homemade food were all delicious. Kudos to the entire staff for their kindness and service. Highly recommended!
