19/04/2026: The restaurant is in a beautiful location. The food is good and well-cooked, but you can't charge €20 for a fried dish with 5 calamari and 3 shrimp. The prices are unreasonable.

06/04/2026: We were passing through and stopped at this cute restaurant with a beautiful view of Dino Island. Excellent food, excellent service. Perhaps the prices were a little high, but since it was Easter Monday, that's okay. Another positive was that we ate lunch inside with our dog, who was welcomed by the staff.

We stopped here for a quick lunch break after classes at my university, and this is already the second time I've brought my girls, who come from various parts of Calabria. The food is excellent, and the pizza is simply delicious. The girls raved about the experience! It will definitely become a regular stop for our future academic breaks. 08/02/2026: We were at La Perla del Tirreno and had a truly excellent experience. Everything was delicious, from the freshest seafood dishes to the meticulous presentation. I truly appreciated the kindness of the owner and the maître d', who were always attentive and helpful. A major plus: the owner immediately took steps to accommodate my husband, who has a fish allergy, by preparing a truly excellent slice of meat. Furthermore, the restaurant is well-equipped to accommodate celiacs, with great attention to detail and professionalism. Fresh seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service, all overlooking the sea. We'll definitely be back.

02/01/2026: I was with friends for a post-dinner drink, and we chose this place based on past experiences that were neither praise nor infamy. We arrived at the place and were off to a bad start, with two people smoking inside the covered veranda. We attempted to order some gins from the long list available on the menu, but they promptly weren't available... After about 4-5 failed attempts at ordering gin, and one attempt at ordering a beer, where none of the 4 on the menu were available, we decided to let the waiter decide, indicating our tastes... My friends were a little luckier, but I received some real "fuel"... As long as I live, I will never set foot there again. Thank you and never again.

27/12/2025: A terrible spritz, all ice in a plastic cup. Paid €8 without a single crisp or appetizer. Outrageous.

14/02/2026: A family-run restaurant that welcomes you warmly and always offers a small fritter while you wait for your order. Very low prices, but high-quality products. Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...

19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯 Cristiano

02/06/2026: I ate at the Carnival Lido and it felt like a trip back in time. I hadn't been there for 15 years and I found the same menu. The portions were generous. I think the pasta was pre-cooked, but it arrived too quickly, not even enough time to cook it for the quality. The price was too high, not to mention the bread. The bread was hard and stale, so you could use it as a wedge under the table. The first courses were all wrapped in foil. The only positive note was the pasta, which was plentiful. The gentleman at the cash register, I think he was the owner, calmly lit a cigarette.

06/05/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, and the terrace is definitely worth the trip! Excellent food, from the peppered mussels to the seafood risotto to the penne al pomodoro for the kids! Everything! But the truly delicious dish was the fried calamari, wonderful! We'll definitely be back! 😊
