Cibo buono, ottima la pizza e le stuzzicherie, soprattutto le polpette di carne e melanzane fatte a mano come si preparavano una volta. È stato piacevole notare che il locale ha a cuore tutti i clienti e quando scrivo così mi riferisco a chi ha intolleranze, celiachia e soprattutto a clienti più piccoli con disabilità visibile e non visibili, si nota una certa "umanità" bella gestione. Da provare.

16/12/2024: Had dinner for two on the recommendation of local relatives who recommended it to me. In fact I recommend it: the service was a bit serious but adequate, the place was clean and furnished in a pleasantly sober style. Upon entering, the spaces seemed very small, but the place is actually quite large, with two internal rooms of considerable size. The individual spaces were more than acceptable: the tables were spaced apart and of adequate size. My colleague ate fish, I ate meat. She found everything excellent, especially the fried food, done to perfection, without the slightest taste of burnt oil. I, on the other hand, so-so: sufficient, but nothing more. In particular, the escalopes with porcini mushrooms tasted of little: zero character and little mushroom flavor. The house dessert was poor, which, given the upcoming holidays, consisted of the traditional chinoli with fig honey. The intention was excellent, but not the result. On the other hand, I appreciated both the wine list, with an adequate choice at reasonable prices (although excessively concentrated on Spatafora labels), and the excellent rosé recommended by the waiter. Overall, however, it is a place that I recommend, with reasonable prices.

05/09/2024: Este lugar está situado en el bosque. Es un lugar grande y es un bonito edificio antiguo con carácter y encanto. La comida que se ofrece es una buena mezcla de antipasto, entrantes, gasolina y pizza. Recomiendo los ravioles de pistacho, pero esa es mi opinión personal. Como amante de la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, todo se trata de la ubicación para mí. No tomé fotos porque estaba demasiado ocupado viendo zarigüeyas de árboles desde mi mesa y escuchando el agua corriente del río.

25/01/2025: Tutta la sala presenta un cattivo odore. Osservando qua e là ho notato scarsa pulizia. Lunga attesa dall’ordinazione. Piatti abbondanti ma di scarsa qualità. Possibilità di prendere un menu o ordinazione alla carta. Prezzi sotto la media.

20/12/2024: Fuimos recibidos por una amable señora (que resultó ser la madre de los dos chefs) y se sentó en nuestra mesa. El restaurante tenía un ambiente moderno y de moda. Nos dieron el menú y decidimos ir por antipasti y un Primi. Tuve el Degustiazone Zefiro que resultó ser una excelente opción. Varias deliciosas picaduras de pescado cocido y crudo que saben muy bien. Mi esposa también estaba feliz con su Tartare di Tonno, pero comentó que era demasiado frío. La red fue un poco decepcionante. Los Gnocchetti pesti Gamberetti carecían de Gamberetti y mi Spaghettone al Granchio era un montón de espaguetis con poca carne de cangrejo. ¿Pero quizás después de estos fantásticos entrantes nuestras expectativas eran demasiado altas? Los entrantes fueron tan buenos que el perdón sobre los segundos platos estaba en su lugar. Por lo tanto, todavía lo calificaré con 5 de 5 estrellas TA, y volveremos la próxima semana para dar seguimiento a esta visita.

Furthermore, I ate the best fried gnocco of my life here....and I live near Modena....that's it. Roberto da Mantua (and Catanzaro my second homeland ❤️)

14/10/2024: It is a trattoria and must be evaluated as such. The place is very simple but spacious. On some days there is caraoke so choose or avoid according to taste. We eat homemade and traditional local dishes. The chicken cooked according to an ancient recipe is very good. The costs are low

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local. The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view. It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla. Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent. We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people. Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers. All very good. The staff is very kind and very professional. I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.

02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.
