06/09/2025: The atmosphere is quaint, rural, yet elegant and clean. Traditional food. Good service.

03/09/2025: The service was very friendly. The owners' cats occasionally wandered through the restaurant, but they made sure they didn't disturb the guests. The food was very, very delicious. I highly recommend the antipasti starter: Antipasti Casejo, First: Fileja cipolla e nduja, Secondi: Griglata mista du carne, and Tagliata arugula e grana. A visit is worthwhile. Perhaps a reservation is recommended!

01/03/2026: Brilliant Neapolitan-style pizza. It's worth trying the one with nduja sausage – a taste of Calabria. The service was fantastic! Very fast, friendly, and hard-working. It was a hive of activity on Saturdays! The atmosphere was great, typically Italian! I wasn't impressed with the pasta, but I'd choose the pizza next time. I recommend it!

20/02/2026: The pizza was delicious. It's a shame about the incredibly long wait for a table, even though I'd booked well in advance.

11/12/2025: We had lunch with friends. The menu was beautifully presented by the host, who immediately clarified the price and terms. The dishes were well-prepared and very generous. My advice: focus more on traditional recipes and local products. In any case, we had a great time; it felt like family; we'll definitely be back.

25/10/2025: Last night, I was invited to a former student's 30th birthday party: a wonderful celebration, both friendly and family-oriented! I knew the restaurant, Arca di Noè, from having attended two 100-day lunches there, in different school years and at different schools. Since the Covid years, on several occasions, I've only enjoyed the pizza: Roman-style, but good. On those occasions, I appreciated the owner's daughter's helpfulness and generosity in offering coffee and/or liqueur at the end of the meal. On this last occasion, I asked her mother about her, and I left her with my regards and thanks. Returning to Andrea's celebrations, the restaurant's cuisine is simple, authentic, Italian, and local (Calabrian): definitely worth trying. For the event, the table was beautifully decorated, with a pure white tablecloth. The service was satisfactory, and the richness of the dishes was enough for seconds. I therefore recommend it. And I'll be back soon with friends for another carefree evening and for the pleasure of the food. Ennio

25/01/2026: I usually never open pizzas before getting home, today I did it as soon as I ordered, I opened the first one and maybe they forgot the toppings, really small and not very topped, when I got home I tried them they were really awful like a hard shoe sole, not risen on mine I had asked for the addition of a little spicy oil, but maybe the pizza chef wanted to joke and put the whole jar in really inedible I don't think I will ever recommend this pizzeria, I used to come here often when I was little but now it's really awful

24/01/2026: I always enjoy returning to Il Corsaro restaurant in Scalea. The pizzas are exceptional, and the cuisine offers excellent first and second courses. The owner, Gianluca, and his wife are cheerful and very friendly, creating a relaxed, family atmosphere. The ideal place for a quiet evening with good food. Highly recommended!

08/03/2026: Today, March 8, 2026, two people for €59.50. Nice place and decent service. The problem? The price and quality of the food. €19 for 6 bruschettas, embarrassing to say the least. Ten paccheri that tasted only of salt, and a scialatiello so raw that if thrown at someone's head, it would have caused a brain injury. I understand that these are the costs these days, and if you decide to go out for lunch, you have to take that into account. But absolutely not like this. I repeat, €19 for 6 bruschettas.

11/01/2026: Takeout mixed fried fish for me: calamari, shrimp, and a few octopus. I've attached a photo. Minimum quantity, maximum price: €20. Shrimp soaked in oil and with a dry, stringy texture, not juicy. Too much salt. First and last time, goodbye.

09/03/2026: My husband thought the pizza was too big. The pizza was too heavy and too sloppy. I've been eating pizza for so long that I've been eating it too long. It's been great! And the gelato is so delicious it's so hard to eat it. My husband used to say he didn't like pizza, that it was bready and dry. I decided to debunk this myth and I made the right choice when I chose your pizza. It was excellent! The ice cream was also incomparable compared to others we've tried.

16/02/2026: It was not possible to order one pizza and pasta, we had to order two pizzas, we gave up and ate other dishes.

19/10/2025: Really enjoyed our meal here from start to finish. The service was so lovely and while no one else was there, as it was off season, he put on music and created a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. We got local harvest olive oil, two days old, absolutely delicious as was the house red wine. The zuppa faglioli was molto Buono 🥰🥰😋 would definitely go back and was very happy with our little meal here 😊😊❤️❤️

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

02/01/2026: Unfortunately I expected better food, a truly disappointing New Year's Eve dinner.

28/12/2025: The waiter was inattentive. We asked for salt for the meat for 10 minutes. The drinks arrived very late. Out of 11 people, one ate while the others were having dessert.

18/02/2026: The appetizers were good. Pasta with clams. Trofie with red eggplant and swordfish sauce. Both excellent. The swordfish rolls and fried squid (fresh) were very delicious. The house white wine was decent. Service wasn't fast, but it was adequate for the evening: Saturday, Valentine's Day, there were about 70 of us. The price was more than fair.

12/08/2025: Villa Ersilia is located in a quiet location outside the chaotic center of Soverato. We booked a "family suite," and our expectations were far from what we expected given the price. The apartment was spacious but dirty and shabby, with a moldy shower, ants near the refrigerator, and furniture that wasn't even from the 1980s! HORRIBLE, as Bruno Barbieri would say. The price/quality ratio was truly disappointing. The only positive note: the continental breakfast.

01/08/2025: Villa Ersilia stands out from other accommodations in Soverato primarily for the excellent service it offers. The rooms are spacious, equipped with every comfort (except for hangers in the closet), impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. It offers a convenient free shuttle service and a special agreement with one of the best beaches in town. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
