12/09/2024: Small environment given the take-away pizzeria. Excellent service, pizzas collected even on Saturday evenings always at the requested time. The really good big pizza.

Friendly staff and very honest prices (the only exception is the platter at €15 - so much for the proposals, two cold cuts, 1 slice of cheese each of a single type, 2 slices of aubergine and two types of fried food) Well cooked pizza, shame about the condiment suggestions on which one could have indulged more with more typical condiments

01/01/2025: Located in the small square in front of the terrace, you go down the stairs to access a suggestive environment with a stone vault. Breathtaking views overlooking the sea from the windows. It offers an à la carte menu and a fixed price menu proposal at 35 euros, consisting of a first course and a second course to choose from among three alternatives. Both menus offer both meat and fish. The fixed price menu proposal is more than satisfactory, therefore: penne with pink prawns from Capo Vaticano, fusilloni with black pig cheek and datterino tomatoes, 2 steaks of grilled swordfish with salmoriglio sauce. Everything excellent; to savor the taste of the prawn it was not necessary to eat it, as it was impregnated with the delicate datterino sauce. The fusilloni are flawless, as are the sword steaks. Attentive and courteous waitress, generous in providing answers to our requests, precise and friendly waitress.

29/12/2024: Pimm’s Restaurant is amazing! A restaurant on your “must do” list while you are in Tropea. The owner is engaging, the food absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere delightful….oh, and the prices are very reasonable.

06/10/2024: Visited this evening and had a fantastic pizza. The pizzas arrived promptly and full of flavour. I'd definitely recommend this place. I have read another review which said they don't accept card payment. However, I paid by card this evening, so perhaps this is a new addition.

21/09/2024: We left the hotel after two nights although we had booked five nights. We booked via booking.com, but the offerings/infrastructure of the hotel listed there were fakse, not available or broken. To be precise: 2 pools stated but one closed, the other did not appear clean to us, sauna = not available, whirlpool = not available, breakfast buffet = not available instead we were offered to take it in our room, we were 2 persoms the room had 1 chair no table … etc etc etc. the hotel said it wasn’t very booked, nevertheless we became a room with view to highway. We asked about all the pitfalls and wrong claims on website/booking.com but there was not a minimal concession by the hotel. They did not even offered us a room change to park view. Booking.com wasn’t helpful either, as long-term customers we are very disappointed with their services and help. Last but not least, the pictures of the hotel are from a smaller old part (old villa) that didn’t seem open when we were there. We were in bigger new part of the hotel with charme of the 1990s. We left earlier, and are super disappointed and feel highl irritated by the false information on booking.com and hotel website and the totally non-service or customer focus of hotel management. We would never (!) book again.

28/08/2024: Magnificent location, spacious and clean rooms, this is the second time I return and I always enjoy it. The staff is very friendly, a particular appreciation for Lucrezia and the manager

23/03/2025: Also a nice location on the lake shore. By chance we enter and sitting at the table we realize we are in the company of a local fauna, it is full of bedbugs. Eating the appetizer after a bedbug lands on my head we ask to change tables. The first courses arrive drowned in oil and of dubious flavor, the burnt lasagna. The lasagna is deducted from the bill, evidently inedible.

07/10/2024: The service was quick - there were few visitors - and extremely unfriendly. It's a shame we didn't leave the place straight away. Pizza and spaghetti were okay. The house wine was a disaster. There was nothing else in response to our comments. We have been traveling through Italy for 2 weeks. That was the lowest point. Very unfortunate.

24/08/2024: Dopo alcuni minuti di ritardo per traffico , si sono venduti le pizze dicendo che non bisognava fare ritardo e che la prenotazione delle pizze era uno scherzo , quindi in breve se la sera volete mangiare non fate tardi oppure non ordinate da loro

28/09/2024: I stopped with my friends without a reservation and we were a large group. They immediately found us a table, excellent cuisine, impeccable service. Everything was very good, the environment was also very nice.

20/09/2024: Voto molto alto alla location, basso al menù, bassissimo al conto. Le innovazioni ci stanno, le sperimentazioni anche ma se mi proponi pesce per la maggior parte con asterisco, dove prevalente è il sapore delle erbe/spezie no grazie. Se poi ciliegina il conto è alto il voto a abbassa. Peccato

24/02/2025: Ristorante con terrazza vistare perfetto per aperitivi e cena ,noi ci siamo trovati molto bene ,personale gentile servizio veloce un bel posto lo consiglio 😉

03/01/2025: aperitif with a very pleasant view of the beach and the gulf, special cocktails also based on very good rum, accompanied by good food. Probably one of the best places in Soverato to have an aperitif, I recommend it! UPDATE: after 3 years I find myself forced to lower the review from 5 to one star. I don't know if the management has changed, but what is written above is no longer true, the quality of the food and above all the service is absolutely not commensurate with the cost (excessive and almost doubled compared to previous years) of the aperitif. TO AVOID.

03/01/2025: Ottima cucina con pesce fresco e prezzi nella norma, piccolo neo un ritardo per i secondi a cui sono seguite le scuse del titolare, molto apprezzate, a cui è seguita l'offerta di rum con cioccolata. Da consigliare

30/12/2024: Tutto perfetto dagli antipasti ai secondi, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico piccolo neo, ho ordinato spaghetti alle vongole veraci ma sono arrivati spaghetti con vongole normali e soprattutto pochissime ( gusci vuoti ). Non mi andava di farlo notare perché erano comunque buoni, però se scrivete vongole veraci devono essere almeno il doppio delle dimensioni e soprattutto non possono esserci più gusci vuoti delle vongole " contate ". Al di là di questo, ristorante superconsigliato e personale gentilissimo. Il baccalà era buonissimo, idem il fritto misto.

15/10/2024: Review is regarding the RESTAURANT: By far most disappointing experience in the otherwise charming area. Here's why: - Biggest NO was the service. The waitress avoided all kinds of interaction. She was rather unfriendly, and took wrong orders. She brought wrong dishes, threw them on the table leaving us apalled. Her dismissive demeanor, lack of professionalism, and her attempt to charge us with the water we had ordered, but never received, was the main reason for the review. - The food was not much better than the service. The grilled fish was mistakenly swapped by the most goopy plate of risotto. The lasagne was the saddest dish, mainly composed of a few sheets of pasta. Portion size was so small, especially the lasagne wouldn't have satisfied a child. + the grilled fish, which only arrived after we ran after the waitress to correct, was quite good, although overshadowed by the bad service. We left after 30 mins, still hungry and feeling mistreated, but tried to stay as friendly as we could. The copa fee was definitely undeserved. Please review your staff morale.
