18/03/2026: The only positive aspect (perhaps) is that it's open 7 days a week. The owner is kind, but that's not enough. As for the rest, no, and I'll explain: Given that it's a very nice place on the lake, it's very, very neglected and dirty. Annual dust on the shelves, unironed and holed tablecloths, dirty glasses, and numerous bugs inside. As for the food, it wasn't everything: oil galore in the dishes, cured meats that were too fresh, and croutons full of vinegar. The bill was steep for what we ate: €22, and we didn't order wine, and we only ate first courses and two mini appetizers. Sorry, but it's not worth repeating.

17/03/2026: The food tasted very good, but the prices were far too high. Charging 20 euros for a portion of pasta with ONE shrimp is a rip-off. For 20 euros, I expected a large portion full of shrimp. There are better restaurants in Tropea.

10/11/2025: Delicious food and very attentive service. A great place for lunch. They offer a lunch menu with first and second courses, a good selection of wines, and decent coffee with Amaro del Capo.

14/10/2025: Cozy, peaceful place - without excessive luxury, but with friendly and helpful staff. Slightly worn apartments with sparse furniture and fixtures. Gas stove and small refrigerator as well as patio furniture. Large pool area. Buildings and outdoor areas need maintenance/upgrading. Half board is recommended (good food!) in the cozy restaurant, as there are over 1 km to eateries and shops - along a road not suitable for people with walking difficulties. A sad detail is that the many sweet and cuddly cats that live on site need better care and especially treatment for infectious eye inflammation, which makes most of them blind.

03/01/2026: When looking for a place to stay, even for just one night, you want to find the best for a relaxing, worry-free vacation. Start with the PROS and CONS. For this B&B, I found only PROS: the location, the cleanliness, the SUPER breakfast, and last but not least: the friendliness, hospitality, and attentiveness of the owners Vincenzo and Mascia, from booking to checkout. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: A charming B&B, from the sea-view room to the outdoor spaces. Impeccable cleanliness and maid service. Super large and spacious bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast room with windows surrounded by greenery and breakfast with all branded products. Convenient on-site parking and car charging. Congratulations, I'll be back!

13/09/2025: The restaurant is very nice, the staff are friendly and polite, and the food is excellent. There's a play area for children, with staff constantly supervising them. The best thing, and especially important for me, since my daughter has celiac disease, is that they also offer all gluten-free dishes, and they are very attentive. I recommend everyone to go there. Thanks to all the staff. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back again.

09/08/2025: Unpretentious, mediocre street-front location, poorly maintained, food from a menu with per-course prices typical of a respectable restaurant. Unfortunately, what we ate didn't reflect its value at all. Nothing fresh was present, and the products were defrosted, as stated on the menu, lacking flavor or culinary expertise. A steep bill for bland dishes.

25/01/2026: I'm giving one star because it's impossible to give less. The place is cold and outdated, the staff are unwelcoming, the pizza was brought to us cold and inedible, it looked like a frozen one. We didn't leave so as not to be rude. For the price we paid, you can definitely find better. Not recommended.

18/02/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal right on the promenade in the sunshine. The appetizer (mixed antipasti) was excellent, as was the tuna steak. I can echo another customer's complaint that the condiments (vinegar, oil, salt, pepper) were placed on the table in paper or plastic packets. That's acceptable for a fast-food restaurant, but not for a high-quality one. However, the hamburger was inedible because it was quite burnt and black on both sides, as well as very bitter. We sent it back and waited for a replacement. Unfortunately, nothing was delivered. Normally, in other good restaurants, you receive a suitable replacement and an apology. When we paid, everything was initially charged normally; only after a lengthy discussion with the manager did he reduce the bill to just the fries. He said everything was fine. What a shame!

31/10/2025: Craving an aperitivo, I found myself there—unfortunately, I might add. The gentlemen, then, acted as if we weren't there; they brought us two bruschettas with cherry tomatoes and an open sardine (the garnish was from a can, most likely from the sardine itself) on a single plate. The spritzes, which were also hand-carried and without a tray, came to €8 each (if I'd gone to Milan's central station, I'd have spent less). The two-star atmosphere honestly reminds me of a kebab shop, which, judging by the plastic chairs and tables filthy with leftovers and insects, takes me back to the golden days of when I was a youngster after an incredible evening. PS: They won't give you a receipt even if you pay a fortune.

08/09/2025: September 8th: Terrible welcome, rude staff. "You have to be completely right or you'll be kicked out." These were the words, perhaps just because they're young. However, it's not acceptable for customers to always be right, even if they can be fanatical. Otherwise, this place has nothing to offer. There's no music. The only problem is the sunbeds and the unpleasant staff. I'll add that I just left the beach, and after reading the review, they even made fun of me.

25/08/2025: Gorgeous location, on Paola's stunning seafront. They have a restaurant, bar, and beach club, and have been family-run for many years. The outdoor spaces could definitely use some updating, but overall, I appreciated the fact that they were open on the seafront, which is already sadly deserted these days with many restaurants empty. They were even serving fresh croissants at 11 p.m., which was great. Fast service and fair prices. As for the fish dinner (don't you dare order meat here), the food is fresh and generally good. They also have a children's menu, and free parking is available in front of the restaurant. A place with tons of potential, but unfortunately, it hasn't quite blossomed as it deserved.
