09/11/2025: We were in Calabria for 24 hours, yet we ate at Osteria San Francesco twice. A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful and authentic experiences I'll ever remember in this region. The restaurant, run by two brothers, is small but very welcoming. The food is amazing, and Francesco is a truly friendly person. What I also really appreciated was the atmosphere in this restaurant: there are only a few seats, and the people at the various tables chat as if they've known each other forever. 24/10/2025: It's a small place, but with plenty of space between tables. Its atmosphere is pleasant, rustic, and cozy, with a nautical decor that filled the walls and achieved a very successful effect. The waiter who served us was very friendly and helpful. We first chose a Caprese salad, not very abundant but rich in flavor. We were perfect with our fish dishes: fried calamari and grilled tuna steak. Being in Pizzo, it was almost obligatory to order the typical dessert: truffle. It was very good.

19/09/2025: wonderful service, wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere, after 2 weeks in pizzo, i think this is probably the best restaurant here. ate here on the last evening of our vacation and the only negative thing i can think of is not coming to this restaurant earlier. the truffle pasta was so good i almost cried (no, really). thank you so much and until the next time.

22/10/2025: We often come to this lovely restaurant. The menu is varied, with excellent fish and lots of delicious raw vegetables! The wait staff is always very kind and friendly! Highly recommended for anyone looking for good seafood and pizza, but reservations are best on Saturdays and Sundays. 👍🏻

09/11/2025: We ate with friends, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The owners were friendly and very kind, I met the pastry chef Angelo and I must say he is very sweet. Overall, I highly recommend it.

08/11/2025: A really lovely restaurant! The owner is incredibly friendly and gives you a warm welcome. Delicious food at a fair price. The location isn't entirely accurate on Maps, which is why we didn't find it right away, but it's well worth the effort.

09/10/2025: On our way back from Sicily, curious to see the town of Scilla, we stopped for lunch at Pippo's; a welcoming place with a traditional, friendly, and helpful owner. We ordered a swordfish platter and "fileja," a typical Calabrian seafood fusilli. Excellent quality, generous portions, and we enjoyed it at a seafront table with a breathtaking view! Prices were absolutely in line, almost below average, with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back...excellent!

30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.
