11/06/2025: Ate on the seafront, both fish and pizza, all good quality and managed by Italians even in the kitchen!

12/05/2025: In my whole life I never got such an insolent service when eating out!!!! We started with the waiter telling us what we want to eat without any welcoming intro or giving us a menu!!!! When he came back for the order he told us it's better to have the same option to eat so we can eat quicker. We did the order and three of us took pasta, one of us a different option. The waiter told us better agree on the same pasta to have as we will wait for an hour to have our plate!!!! Never did I hear a waiter saying this and I never expected this at all!!! How absurd!!! We did order the same pasta as we were told but then realised that the other clients were having different pasta at the same time as us so the cook still had to cook different pasta!!! We asked for the wine list and the waiter replied choose any wine bottle you see around you, oh dear!!!! One of us told him, we prefer white wine so it'd be better not around us but refrigerated to which he told us to go and choose from the cooler!!! With all this absurdity we were served our pasta plates more than an hour later!!! Then finishing off with the bill. The waiter scribbled it down on a piece of paper and threw it away as soon as we paid, I never got to know if the bill was right. I was so taken aback with all this having an urge to get out of there that it was after that I realized!!!

03/05/2025: Excellent raw materials and impeccably cooked, each dish is a discovery with fish at its centre. Truly remarkable selection of appetizers and raw meats. The cellar is exceptional. I recommend it!!!!!!!!

05/06/2025: It's a great way to experience living in a cave! If you're in Matera, it's a great place. It's well-staffed, clean, and has a good breakfast! It might be a bit difficult to get to, but with the help of Google Maps, you can get there.

18/06/2025: very expensive piadina and the bars were not even washed but dirty, piadinas are very expensive and not even worth the price. careless waitresses and inside the infrastructure was dirty. I strongly advise against it, I'm sorry for having had a not very pleasant experience in this place

07/05/2025: Hervorragende italienische Küche in stilvollem Ambiente. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und ansprechend präsentiert, dies brauchte seine Zeit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet.

30/04/2025: A parte la location particolare all’interno del sasso barisano, la cucina è veramente niente di particolare. Anche la carta dei vini non aggiornata ed esagerata nei prezzi. Ce lo hanno consigliato perché vicino il nostro alloggio ma è decisamente un posto turistico e non lo consiglio se la cucina ha ancora un valore.

22/03/2025: Al centro di Matera. Locale accogliente e molto tipico, comodo per aperitivi o pranzi/cene veloci. Personale molto cortese e professionale. Il tagliere da 16€ (medio) che abbiamo preso (salumi, formaggi e pane caldo) e un panino (mortadella, stracciata e granella di pistacchi) da 5€ erano molto buoni. Consigliato.
