22/06/2026: It was recommended to us by some local ladies, and we really have to thank them. The food was excellent; we had the starters, all delicious, not to mention the side dishes, grilled radicchio and vegetables... sensational. Definitely recommended!
17/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant the other evening, the spaghetti with clams were very good, but it had been a long time since I had eaten such good fried food, so much so that I would like to compliment the chef through the owner, very good.

24/04/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give one star!
We went for dinner:
The appetizers were small portions and the cured meats were of the lowest quality.
For our first course, we all had carbonara, and we felt sick that evening, that night, and the next day! The carbonara was so heavy, we had a terrible time finishing it!
Finally, we asked for a house digestif, and the (unprofessional) staff couldn't give me any answer other than, laughing, "We have several, but I don't know the names."
Sorry, but that's not the case.
21/04/2026: We had booked on the recommendation of friends. The wait was quite long. The wine was served in a chipped glass carafe. The four of us ordered two rosemary beef steaks, which were quite stringy. The portions were just right, with two stuffed pasta dishes, two green salads, water and wine on tap, and a coffee. €94. I can't recommend this place against, but I can't recommend it against either.

02/08/2025: The selection of ice creams is good...not only classic flavors but also refined ones like my favorite "40 degrees" or "yogurt and pomegranate sauce" but also "booo", "mare d'inverno", "nocciatella", "carato"...and the whipped cream on offer is spectacular, the girls at the counter are always kind, helpful and friendly. In short, a regular stop at Joseph when I go to Marotta.

13/07/2026: We stopped here while passing through, heading straight in because of the good reviews. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. The portions were just right and incredibly affordable compared to German prices! 👍 We hope to come back again sometime!

30/12/2025: Let's start with the positives: the staff is extremely kind and courteous, and they take celiac care seriously. They're knowledgeable and know how to recommend food. The place is very popular, and the view from the outside is spectacular. It's a shame the fish we ate wasn't up to par, the fried food was poorly mixed, and the appetizers were so-so... and the price was fair.

Second, but definitely not last, experience at this magnificent restaurant.
07/07/2026: We went last week and had a great meal. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only downside was that we were traveling with a 1-year-old, and although we made sure there was a high chair, it was for much older children. Luckily, we had ours in the car, otherwise it would have been a bit of an inconvenience. Furthermore, the baby didn't eat anything; we had cutlery and glasses removed, but they did charge us a place setting.
Despite everything, I would gladly return because the experience was positive and enjoyable. It's just a shame that small touches can sometimes make all the difference.

09/05/2026: I had takeout burgers for the first time and they were fantastic. The value for money is incredible, and they're not burgers that leave you hungry. The service, friendliness, and punctuality are also excellent. Overall, 5/5.
03/05/2026: The place was nice and well-decorated, but the wait was very long. Considering we only ordered two basic sandwiches, we waited over an hour for them, and when they finally arrived, they were completely covered in liquid grease. The bread was so soaked that it was difficult to eat, especially since all the sauce was seeping out. Otherwise, the fries were good. The gentleman occasionally warned us about the delay, but based on the experience, I would have expected at least a few words. I'm disappointed because our expectations were high, especially given the excellent reviews.
