03/08/2025: Excellent lunch and very friendly staff. Open fireplace for cooking the main courses. Amazing tagliata, paired with an excellent Piceno red wine. The tagliatelle with white ragù was delicious and homemade. The ingredients are all excellent and high-quality. The mixed grill was also delicious. I would love to return!

20/07/2025: Located a few steps from the Peace Park, where many concerts are held. From the outside, it looks a bit retro, even when entering the lobby. It has ample space for stairs and an elevator. The rooms have been renovated, and the bathroom is comfortable, fresh, and clean. The staff is attentive and very, very kind; they found us a room despite it being packed. For breakfast, they helped us and seated us in the spacious dining room. Everything is meticulously clean and smells fresh. I give it a 4.5 with great pleasure.

29/11/2025: Lunch for two for a quick stop, we ordered a bottle of sparkling water, fried fish, and grilled skewers. The problem? The fried fish consisted of vegetables: zucchini and cabbage, a shrimp, and three octopus. The absurdity, however, lies in the skewers we ordered: Two, and I mean two, placed on the fruit platter, shared. I don't know if you believe this, but the cost was 30 euros. I think it's crazy, no coffee, no first course, nothing at all. Just a bottle of water and two second courses (if that's what we want to call them). You might ask, what's the problem? That we were given a menu on a piece of paper with no prices, so we were blind. Maybe it was a set menu? Who knows, no one told us anything.

20/10/2025: A hidden gem, but a 5-star restaurant from Olter. Both for the kindness of the staff and the food and service. The grilled lamb was tender and flavorful. The vegetable and legume soup paired with bruschetta, cheese, and sauces was superb. An experience worth repeating and a must-try for future occasions.

09/10/2025: We stumbled upon this osteria by coincidence during a business trip along the Strada Statale 78 Picena, which leads to Ascoli Piceno. The exterior of "L'Osteria del Castello" is undoubtedly unattractive. From the start, we felt a bit unpretentious. My friend from Naples kept telling me it looked like a restaurant with little character. However, we would soon discover the exact opposite! First and foremost, I'd like to mention the kindness of the owner herself, a "madam" with a big heart, devoted body and soul to her profession! While we waited, she offered us a basket of local walnuts. Later, seeing as the other customers were enjoying their meal for a long time, she offered us a small platter of cured meats and cheeses, along with various compotes to match—a friendly and sincere gesture that was greatly appreciated! To cut a long story short, all the dishes we ate were beautifully presented and of good quality. Quantity is the highlight of this osteria, which I highly recommend for its authentic flavors and the chef's passion. Very fair prices!

04/12/2025: After reading the many positive reviews of this place, I decided to try the much-vaunted dishes at ANburger. We're not there, not at all. After more than ten days, both my wife and I still have clothes smelling of fried food and kitchen fumes. The place is very cramped, packed together; you have to push people up to get through. I'm not a burger fan, and neither is my wife, but we wanted to try it. House fries (that's what they call them... well...), a pile of greasy potatoes, like the ones from a packet. A sandwich with spare ribs, which arrived with cold spare ribs, not at all warm as is customary, with an unsavory sauce and two lettuce leaves. Horrible. My wife had a veggie burger, with two ounces of mayonnaise and somewhat questionable flavors. The only good thing was a noteworthy amber draft beer. No, we're not there. Prices are a bit high for mediocre quality products. Perhaps in the summer, having outdoor seating makes things different. It's certainly more livable, but the food remains the same. I'm sorry, we had good feelings, but it was an evening to forget. We entered at 8:15 PM, and at 8:40 PM we left in despair. P.S.: I don't understand the rave reviews on Tripadvisor; perhaps many are fake or written by someone who eats bread and water every day.

22/11/2025: The beer selection is the envy of many pubs, and I can say that the one I chose was truly good (I also appreciated the gluten-free option) and served with crispy, perfectly salty artisanal chips. The sandwich I chose was very good; you can sense the chefs' research into the pairings. It might seem expensive, but the ingredients are high-quality, and quality comes at a price. For just over €20 per person, you can enjoy a good sandwich and an excellent beer. Special mention goes to the owner, who stayed to chat with us and another customer, making everything feel more "familiar."

28/10/2025: Located on the hills, it has ample parking and plenty of space. In the summer, there's also a lovely lawn for children. The atmosphere is very refined, yet still feels like a country house. Friendly staff. The menu features meat dishes, including grilled meats, and pizza. Generous, well-prepared portions, meticulously presented. Prices are moderate. Worth trying several times, whether for a small group or a group.

09/11/2025: Simple yet elegant, this restaurant offers its guests excellent service and excellent cuisine, primarily based on high-quality seafood. The pizza is also noteworthy, as is the house wine. Prices are extremely reasonable and competitive. Reservations are recommended.

21/09/2025: If you want to experience what it feels like to be judged before you even order, this is the place. Having had a very positive impact since my last visit to this place, I decided to bring two of my friends. We went in: one of us went to the bathroom for an emergency, the other smoked a cigarette outside. The owner looked us over as if we'd just robbed a bank. My friend came back because he also needed to go to the bathroom. While my friend and I were looking at the menu, a rude gesture to the temple was sent from the counter, indicating that our friend was "not okay." (Drunk? On drugs? I had to specify that my friend was in the bathroom because I don't think he would have asked us about his mental and physical condition in front of him.) SPOILER: He was doing very well. When I replied, "No, he's fine," he jokingly exclaimed, "OH YES! HE'S SURELY BETTER THAN ME😆😆" But here, you just have to breathe to be labeled. Coincidentally, we were a group of young people in our twenties (maybe we didn't even look that "grown up", but for us that's certainly a compliment) and maybe the owner didn't like the fact that we wanted to drink a beer or some of their customised cocktails with a splash of IPA. I didn't even have time to explain to my friends that they don't serve typical drinks here (I know the specialty here is beer... He can keep it: he's so fond of it that he suggested we look for a cocktail bar. How nice of him, we clearly understood his message. We left disgusted as the owner greeted us with a "thank you ☺️" that sounded more like "thanks for getting rid of your balls." Honest advice: there are truly professional bars just a few steps away. Here they only serve nice, cold rudeness, like the beer I wanted to drink... A real shame, since I have nothing to say about the excellent quality of what's served... REVIEW UPDATE AFTER THE OWNER'S RESPONSE I admit I wasn't aware of my friend's request to smoke inside the establishment. The rule was respected, however, as he finished his smoke and went back inside without a care in the world (had it been the other way around, I wouldn't have dared). (I'll defend him.) Now I ask: have you ever tried taking friends to a different place than usual? As I wrote before, I didn't even have time to explain that they don't serve the usual drinks (like the Pina Colada my friend wanted). We know the internet exists, but I don't think it's mandatory to study every place's menu before entering. From the response, I received this sort of hostility toward my friend, but that doesn't justify the dirty looks my friend and I received without having done anything. (Then, the request to find another place was made to us, too.) We had decided what to order, but after that request, we had no choice but to get up. I love beer, but I don't love it enough to stay in a place after the owner explicitly asks you to "look around and find something else." If for you this is the model of professionalism that 'doesn't label,' then perhaps we have different definitions of the word, given that my friend was more than lucid.

The pistachio flavor was delicious, not overpowering, and the cream used was top-quality, fresh, and light! The price was absolutely right! Thank you!

01/08/2025: A top-quality butcher's shop and delicatessen located in the newer part of town, popular with locals and the lucky few tourists who know how to find it. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, the shop is clean and tidy, and the prices are reasonable for the products offered. You can also enjoy their culinary offerings on site.
