25/03/2024: ON SUNDAY... RELAX. Last Sunday walk in Chiavenna (SO). And of course the culinary stage could not be missed. We booked and chose the Crotto Quartino in Santa Croce di Piuro (SO). A fantastic reality that marries good food with local tradition. Here, the quality of the products and raw materials is indisputable. From appetizer to dessert it is an ecstasy of flavors that make you feel the Chiavenna valley in its characteristic crotti. Welcome and hospitality are perceptible from the beginning to the end of this experience. As a couple or in the company of friends, it is the right location for a lunch or dinner. The complete menu and drinks included are highly recommended. Eat and drink as much as you want!!! 😋😋😋 See you next time.

23/03/2024: The crotto itself is very beautiful and is on 2 floors where it is possible to have lunch and eat typical Valtellina cuisine. The price is average and the cuisine is absolutely good, the typicality is in the basement where it is possible to take a mini-tour in which they explain the seasoning of cured meats to you

04/04/2024: Finally...Livigno now at the top...the connection with Mottolino is missing and it becomes a white paradise. I repeat and add that it is still the best ski area in Italy

03/04/2024: During the nice, sunny weather we had during our stay, it's a place you want to come back to. Because why look for nowhere else when there is everything a skier looking for a moment of relaxation needs there.

03/04/2024: We were offered a table in the basement - not so cozy, no views there… If we knew about the basement, we would have chosen another restaurant. The food was ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service was not so good - we wanted to order some more wine and some more side dishes but we felt forgotten in the basement…

31/03/2024: First you have to go through an outdoor après ski party with 80/90' music, then a bigger bar and at the bottom of the room is the restaurant itself and it was absolutely fantastic. Good wines and delicious food. We got a spicy pasta with prawns 😋. Can definitely be recommended.

01/04/2024: Really very nice place. Typical Valtellina cuisine with an excellent wine list. The starters are super, I recommend sciatt and mixed platter and then pizzoccheri and crepes. Superb apple pie. Super friendly and competent staff. They serve at the tables in typical clothing
