The only "observation": the external awning opens and closes automatically based on the weather sensor on the roof. Eating in full sun isn't always pleasant.

Excellent food, very tasty and masterfully prepared, impeccable service, location with a particular exterior but in my opinion not very efficient, reservations recommended, ample parking right in front, in my opinion the prices are too high

Excellent service, the waiters were very professional and friendly. The food was delicious; we had pizzoccheri and sciatt, both wonderful. The house wine was very good, as was the house limoncello with sage—excellent. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Close to Chiavenna and the waterfalls. Highly recommended.

The bresaola was very good, as were the cheeses and the Sciatt. I don't know about weekdays, but book on weekends. I was fine.

Stone tables and benches, very nice. Not a lot of choice on the menu but it was good, which is the main thing.

Total disappointment. I'd always heard it was one of the best places to eat in the Chiavenna Valley, but I was disappointed. We had the sciat (you could taste the old frying oil), the meat (it didn't seem to be of quality, other than being overcooked), and the pizzoccheri (water and cheese were floating around). The house wine wasn't bad.

13/07/2026: Very elegant restaurant, intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food! The pizzoccheri are handmade and are by far the best I've had in years.
04/07/2026: Fast and friendly service, and a lunchtime choice between the daily menu and a la carte menu. There's a small wine list by the glass and a decent selection of both local and international wines. The dishes are generous and rich. I recommend the risotto with Sassella and Bitto, which is truly delicious (a true red wine risotto). The sciatt and tagliolini with mushrooms are excellent. It's a shame we didn't get to try the desserts, which looked delicious (we were quite full). The price, I'd say, is fair. Definitely worth trying again.

24/06/2026: A very unique and authentic experience.. Martino and his staff are amazing. Dinner was incredible, worth the stay by itself
