20/10/2025: It's not easy to explain what Luis's gelato is, because it's a combination of so many things. So I'll just say: go try it, sit back, and enjoy the sweetness of life.
10/10/2025: Beautiful gelato, creamy, not too sweet and every flavour I tried was the bomb. I especially liked malaga and pistachio. Owner a true gentleman. You can buy your gelato and go down to the quiet waterfront with benches to enjoy it. Loved it 10/10

20/10/2025: I found myself there by chance. I was in the area for work. The place is beautiful, but unfortunately it's not suitable for the working class. The prices are reasonable for the beautiful place. We were looking for a place within our reach, but for those who can afford it, the food is really good. We had our own budget, which we went over by a lot. I recommend calling before you go to see if there are any seats available. Enjoy your meal, everyone.
17/10/2025: The atmosphere is intimate, refined, and quaint. The service is kind and friendly. All the dishes are delicious and excellent value.

17/10/2025: We returned to Curcuma and, as always, we were not disappointed! The food was excellent, the wait staff was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The cardamom liqueur was the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back!

We have cycled to, and dined for lunch at Da Gigi twice over the past few weeks...and the food is absolutely incredible. The deer is so tender I just didn't want it to end - served with sections of pear in a light sauce. See pics.
Antonella treated us VERY well and told us the story of her family's ownership of the restaurant. We HIGHLY recommend Da Gigi and will return many times.

19/10/2025: This was an amazing restaurant. I cannot make a menu recommendation because that would lead you astray. Everything was fantastic, and the service was amazing. If you cannot speak Italian, that's fine too. The server speaks English and is a pleasure!
The atmosphere was also beyond amazing. It was like we were eating in a wine cellar.
If you are in the area and you skip this place, you have made a mistake. Go!

02/12/2025: I went for the first time for a business lunch. I was really impressed by the staff's hospitality. The place is modern, clean, and a bit private. The dishes were really good, high-quality, and well-presented. The business menu costs €20 and you can choose between two first courses and two second courses with side dishes. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I've already been back three times, and everything is always perfect. Also recommended for dinner. The waiters, I think Marco and Matteo, and the lady in the dining room are very kind.

I was in Mandello for a visit to relatives, looking for somewhere to have lunch, and without a reservation (Sunday lunchtime), they sat me at a comfortable table near the counter. The dishes are few, but truly well-made, featuring local flavors (Minsoltini, Persico, Lavarello, etc.), but with a contemporary twist. The portions are fairly generous, the wine list is decent (it's an Osteria, after all), and the service is fast and always smiling, despite the restaurant being full. My compliments!

08/11/2025: I was running from the cops after robbing a bank and I found this place with some guys who hid me in the back.
The cops broke in, but I was lying in the focaccia oven, so I didn't get caught.
I gave them a small slice of the loot, and in exchange, they even offered me a focaccia: DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommended, both for the food (the sweet potato and sausage is amazing) and for the amazing guys there ❤️❤️❤️
