The cake was exorbitantly priced (even considering it was quite simple, just as requested...I'd like to know how much a pastry chef costs), but above all, the final cost was a good 40% higher than the estimate, so much so that asking for a price estimate was pointless. That's not a problem, though: I know which pastry shop I won't be going to again from now on.

22/02/2026: Our lunch yesterday at Trattoria Bar Sport was perfect. We discovered the place thanks to the Slow Food Guide and highly recommend it. We opted for a Padano appetizer, marubini pasta in broth for the first course, tiramisu, and a traditional homemade dessert similar to zuppa inglese. Everything was truly delicious. Compliments to the young chef and the entire staff!!!

31/01/2026: We had two delicious pizzas (one with gorgonzola and figs and the other with pumpkin and pecorino). Very fast service and a friendly manager. It's a shame there's no seating, but this place is definitely worth it!

They were really kind and let us stay past closing time so we could finish our lunch. We're truly satisfied with the service and the delicious food. Thank you so much.

19/01/2026: A lovely restaurant with a homey atmosphere where you can enjoy typical local dishes. It opened on January 2nd when 90% of the restaurants in the area were (rightfully) closed. Kudos to their professionalism and dedication. The food was very good.

29/01/2026: At Locanda da Zia Leti in Livrasco, you can't go wrong. The owner, who is also the chef, brings authentic Piacenza cuisine to the table, prepared as it should be: traditional dishes, full flavors, generous portions, and no unnecessary frills. The food here is good, period. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the staff is friendly and approachable, making you feel immediately at ease. Each dish reflects tradition and attention to detail, with that "home-made" care that is increasingly rare these days. An authentic restaurant, where you come to eat well and leave satisfied. And that, honestly, is a great asset.

20/02/2026: I don't remember ever eating so badly in a restaurant. Let's start with the location: First of all, dirty, dirty entrance, dirty outside windows, dusty tables with no tablecloths. Forget the service... The food quality was terrible; everything was frozen, thawed, and reheated. THE WORST CUTLET OF MY LIFE, DRY AND TOUGH. All this for the modest price of €77 per person, including supermarket wine. The quality/price ratio was simply indecent, a real joke. For eating badly and sitting uncomfortably on torn sofas at home. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. A PASSIONATE ADVICE: RESTAURANTS ARE A SERIOUS MATTER... YOU DON'T MAKE FUN OF THE PEOPLE WHO PAY... The blatant arrogance of not being able to accept criticism.

When Milan is moving fast and winter is doing what winter does (dreary and cold), Stelvio delivers the kind of big, satisfying Alpine Italy inspired comfort food you actually want. We went for a late-ish lunch (2:30) and the room was quiet, mostly locals, in a clean, bright, airy space that reads modern and a little fancy. Yes, the orecchia d’elefante schnitzel is the headliner—and it’s absurdly huge (it took up half our two-top on its own cutting board). But here’s the detail that matters: the waiter told us they prepare each “ear” to order and use a special press so the meat stays evenly thick. The result is perfectly thin, evenly crisp, and well-salted breading that never turns heavy. Lemon on the side is your optional palate reset. Don’t miss the sleeper hit: polenta taragna with salsiccia—rustic, rich, mountain-style polenta with excellent sausage and tomato sauce. Get a bottle of Pinot Grigio; it cuts the fat and lifts both dishes. A starter + two mains + a bottle of wine easily feeds 3–4. 86.50 euro. Great value, steps from Isola Metro.

17/08/2025: We went to Bar Bacco da Seta for breakfast and were very pleased. The place is well-kept, welcoming, and has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for starting the day. The counter was stocked with croissants, homemade cakes, and many tempting options. The cappuccino was creamy and well-made, with that extra touch that makes all the difference. The staff is friendly and immediately puts you at ease, always with a smile. A short break turned into a pleasant and relaxing moment. We'll be happy to return!

The menu is rich in local dishes, but with unique, imaginative touches (and some are a bit Nordic, given that the owner's wife is Danish!). The wine list is top-notch. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Impeccable service. We'll definitely be back, even if it's foggy!

30/12/2025: We chose this Hostaria for Christmas lunch, somewhat by chance because it was in a strategic location for all of us, and it was a real discovery. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the friendly and prompt service from our waiter despite the crowds, the excellent food... a shame about some of the omissions in the bill: they charged us for coffees even though they were included in the menu, they rounded up the price per person, charging much more than they should have (and complained about the opposite instead!), and above all, they didn't remove the deposit they'd asked for when booking from the final price (we had to remind them!). This was very disappointing, since overall, the lunch was nothing to complain about. What a shame...
