07/09/2025: Dinner with friends at this restaurant, whose first impression is a stunning view of Lake Como and a family welcome. I opted for an excellent lake appetizer and RISO IN CAGNONE WITH PERCH FILLETS, which was completely satisfying! The REAL rice and perch that true Como residents know! Not the kind they foist on you in tourist restaurants, but the one prepared according to our grandmothers' recipe. Congratulations! PS: I don't have photos because it was a dish meant to be enjoyed immediately. 😉

14/10/2025: Excellent food, generous portions. The location is worth it, the prices are also fair. The only problem is for those arriving by car (limited parking) but you can use the beautiful funicular.

05/10/2025: The one-star rating is because zero isn't possible. For €172, we had, in order: Dirty bathroom Stained blankets Television and remote control didn't work The icing on the cake...no heating in the rooms. To our complaints, the most hilarious responses were: Municipal ordinance prohibits lighting (radiators are on in the inn's bar). It takes time for the room to warm up. (Radiators never turned on). The inn is 2000 square meters, so I can't light it for everyone (in fact, everyone is cold). The inn is full, so that means it's fine (unspeakable). He entered our room wearing a sweater and jacket and exclaimed...perfect temperature. Conclusion...extra blankets for everyone. Breakfast was basic, apart from the lack of savory options. Terrible service, terrible location, and terrible value. Don't be lured by offers from Booking.com or other apps...it's a waste of money. Highly not recommended.

03/10/2025: We had such a lovely dinner here and it was the best way to end our trip! Raouf, the owner, had a wonderful disposition and welcomed us with open arms. The vibe was cozy and restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was excellent (we ordered branzino and pasta - 100% the best branzino we've ever had and the pasta was fantastic as well)! They also make a really excellent Limoncello in-house that we highly recommend trying! Raouf's service was above and beyond: There was someone servicing the building outside and we noticed Raouf kindly conversing with him and gifting him wine after the worker completed the job for the day. We ended up discovering Raouf's Restaurant and Hotel the last night of our vacation, but we will absolutely be returning to stay here at his hotel and dine at the restaurant the next time we visit the Como, Italy area again!

21/10/2025: Excellent dinner. The polenta uncia was fantastic, as was the tiramisu. The house wine was also good! The restaurant is worth the trip from Como! We'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: Pleasant, clean atmosphere with a simple, vintage style. The piano music in the background was much appreciated. The waiter was kind and knowledgeable. The food was truly delicious!!! Very high quality and generous portions! We had the local cured meats and cheese platter, polenta with bacon and polenta with wild boar, and for dessert, the strudel and ricotta, chestnut, and chocolate tart. The only downside was the bread: I expected it to be a little better. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: The food was just okay, but the view was fantastic and the staff were friendly. It was cold so we ate indoors, but when I asked to move to a smaller table with a better view (which didn't seem to be the intended dining area), they happily moved us. We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful view :) I think the table charge was €3 for spaghetti 16 and water 3.50, so we paid a total of €22.50. Oh, I wanted to use the restroom, but the one downstairs wasn't very clean and there was no toilet paper. Some customers just had coffee at the bar and left :)

30/10/2025: Amazing view, amazing food, and amazing service from one of the kindest waiters I’ve ever met — Mohamed. We asked for his recommendations and were absolutely delighted with his choices. Highly recommend!

19/10/2025: Excellent stay!! Very hospitable and a comfortable stay. The owner is really nice and we highly recommend them if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be staying with them when we’re back!

12/10/2025: Incredible 4 coffees for 10 euros.... Not even a glass of water next to it or a chocolate.... And the coffee wasn't even good quality.... Thieves.

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!
