10/08/2026: I had a good lunch with friends and thanks to all the staff of this place, for the service and the patience in choosing the dishes, naturally all excellent, the bread is super good, you finish it in a second, also try the pizza which is very good, I hope to return soon, both for the food, the view from the lighthouse and to try other dishes too
09/08/2026: The best pizza we've ever tasted! The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. I also recommend the tiramisu for a sweet end to your meal. Kudos to the owner and all the staff, especially for their attention to children. Well done!

12/04/2026: Amazing experience, hands down the best restaurant in como, the quality of the food combined with the extraordinary views makes it totally worth it. Very friendly people, service was excellent, we only came to the mountain to eat here. Will definitely come back in our next trip!

24/07/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Locanda Milano 1873. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and full of authentic Italian flavors. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel at home. The music is absolutely stunning and makes the whole experience even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brunate. We would definitely come back🍋☀️

07/06/2026: The restaurant of hotel Locando Milano was fantastic! Great hours as other nearby restaurants in Brunate had closed and we stumbled across the beautiful spot and just had to go in. Great food, drinks, and hospitality. The owner is incredible and treated us like family!

15/08/2026: Nice place, but a bit left out... I ordered a platter, unfortunately, of low quality. It's fine that it's a tourist spot, especially for foreigners, but the prices are a bit excessive (I'm in the business and know quality) and I should FORGET about it.
12/08/2026: I discovered this restaurant by chance... And thank goodness! It was a pleasant discovery; we had lunch on the terrace, which boasts a breathtaking view. The food and service were excellent; we really enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.

07/05/2026: If you're looking for peace and quiet and spectacular lake views, this is the place for you. It's up in the mountains, so it's a bit of a hike, but it's well worth it. The restaurant doesn't have many tables, but it boasts a lovely natural terrace. The homemade food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended.
29/04/2026: Sometimes you have to get away from the tourist spots... And find a truly authentic place to enjoy the sunset over the lake.

12/08/2026: The view alone is absolutely worth the visit, but what really made the difference was the extremely courteous staff, always kind and helpful. Excellent cocktails and delicious appetizers. Recommended!
02/08/2026: My visit to this place was completely ruined by the behavior of the waiters. Instead of being polite and helpful, they made us feel uncomfortable. Because of this, the whole experience was very disappointing.

19/07/2026: The view is beautiful, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The service is generally very rude. This definitely spoils the experience. A €3.50 tip per person is mandatory, probably because customers wouldn't leave anything for them. The menu prices are high.

29/09/2025: Something has gotten out of hand... probably the large influx of tourists with deep pockets ascending to Brunate by funicular or taxi has meant that even these types of huts, considered rustic and the preserve of a few hikers until 15-20 years ago, are now enjoying a golden age, boasting menus priced like those of a downtown restaurant. Prices that would be partially justified if the refuge were located at 2,000 meters with no access road, but I repeat, "anything goes"... good for them while it lasts... :-)
27/07/2025: Shabby but charming with an absolutely ~spectacular~ view, and ok breakfast as well. For me the smell (especially in the toilettes) and the rats in the walls are the reasons we won’t be coming back.
