12/04/2026: Amazing experience, hands down the best restaurant in como, the quality of the food combined with the extraordinary views makes it totally worth it. Very friendly people, service was excellent, we only came to the mountain to eat here. Will definitely come back in our next trip!

22/03/2026: A very nice place, but it's not easy to get there due to the road being very narrow in several places. Alternatively, you can take the funicular and then walk about 2 km. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is good. A bit overpriced considering that most of the ingredients used are traditional peasant fare—polenta, potatoes, etc.—the fried food basket in particular, at €16 for a handful of chips, three sciatt, and three taroz, is truly a lot.
22/03/2026: We had a wonderful time during our lunch break! This restaurant is amazing, the food is fabulous, and the staff is lovely! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate: Stop by!

A breathtaking view... a nice place...
But...
€48 for a steak with no sides... no sauce...
A salad ordered separately arrived without any dressing... no salt? No pepper? No oil? No vinaigrette, nor the option to make one.
The service was rather amateurish despite the waiter's friendliness...
Despite good ingredients, it's still very disappointing...
€118 for two cocktails, a glass of wine, two main courses, and an appetizer...
The most expensive restaurant we went to in Italy, and the worst...
What a shame! But I think with a few adjustments it will be much better!!
25/06/2026: We weren't able to have lunch. There was a row of tables in the shade (reserved or occupied) and a second row in the sun, all empty. We asked if we could move a small table for two people into the shade. The answer was no. We asked if we could eat something on the bench at the entrance. The answer was no. We went to the hotel next door, where we had a great time. On such hot days, I think it's rude not to welcome guests, offering them a moment's relief.

The owner or chief was pushing us to order the most expensive food that there was and was disappointed when we didn’t! And for the drinks there, they were way too expensive! If you want to stop there to get something to eat it’s great but not the best

07/05/2026: If you're looking for peace and quiet and spectacular lake views, this is the place for you. It's up in the mountains, so it's a bit of a hike, but it's well worth it. The restaurant doesn't have many tables, but it boasts a lovely natural terrace. The homemade food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended.
29/04/2026: Sometimes you have to get away from the tourist spots... And find a truly authentic place to enjoy the sunset over the lake.

08/06/2026: It's absolutely terrible. There's an employee who's awful and slow, and if you order something, it takes forever to arrive. I don't even know her name. The worst thing a tourist can do is come and wander around this awful village. I don't know what they think they are.
30/05/2026: The staff was rude and rude, unsuitable for customer service.
I went with 11 friends and we were very disappointed with the service. The girls working were very rude, especially the cashier.
I'm sorry, but I will never return, and I don't recommend anyone else to go either.

20/05/2026: Omg. The Braised Beef with Polenta was the highlight of my experience in Como. The meaty & rich sauce was by far the best I've tried in Italy thus far, and worked so well with the beef! I've developed a new addiction.
The view of Lake Como from above is also absolutely stunning and therapeutic for my mind. More importantly, the service of this restaurant is excellent!
I'd highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Como; it's a no-brainer and I'll be back here again!
16/05/2026: The view is truly beautiful, and that is probably the main reason people come here.
Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the scenery. The food was very average, nothing special. What disappointed us most was the attitude at the entrance. As soon as we arrived, the woman at the cashier handed us the menu and insisted that we had to choose right there before sitting down.
I explained that my foot was hurting and politely asked if I could sit and choose from the menu, but she answered “no” with a very strict, almost schoolteacher-like attitude. It felt far from welcoming or kind.
It was raining heavily that day; otherwise, we definitely would not have stayed. Beautiful view, but the food and service need serious improvement.

22/04/2026: After climbing Brunate, I stopped here for a coffee and souvenirs. I felt slightly dizzy from the height, so I took a short break. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were kind—perfect place to recover.

29/09/2025: Something has gotten out of hand... probably the large influx of tourists with deep pockets ascending to Brunate by funicular or taxi has meant that even these types of huts, considered rustic and the preserve of a few hikers until 15-20 years ago, are now enjoying a golden age, boasting menus priced like those of a downtown restaurant. Prices that would be partially justified if the refuge were located at 2,000 meters with no access road, but I repeat, "anything goes"... good for them while it lasts... :-)
27/07/2025: Shabby but charming with an absolutely ~spectacular~ view, and ok breakfast as well. For me the smell (especially in the toilettes) and the rats in the walls are the reasons we won’t be coming back.
