16/11/2025: We stayed at this property for one night, and, aside from its location, I believe it doesn't even begin to meet the standards of a true four-star establishment. The room, advertised as "Superior," featured a double bed that was actually two single beds joined together with only a bedspread, an unacceptable solution for the category and price. Furthermore, we found the room to be poorly cleaned, with visible dust buildup especially on the coat hangers and the sealed toiletries. The hotel advertises a 24-hour reception, but when we requested a late checkout (even for a surcharge) on the morning of our departure, we were incomprehensibly told that "THE HOTEL CLOSES ON SUNDAYS AND WE COULD ONLY DELAY 30 MINUTES," raising serious concerns about the hotel's management and essential services. The breakfast service also proved lacking: although the receptionist claimed it was available until 10:30, when we arrived at 10:00, the selection was extremely limited. I understand the challenges of the low season, but this isn't a marginal reduction in service, but rather a lack of minimum standards of hospitality and cleanliness consistent with a 4-star rating. An urgent review of the standards offered is needed.

22/09/2025: We visited Antica Hosteria Cavallino and had a truly enjoyable experience. We tried high-quality seafood dishes, with a distinct Sardinian flavour. Fregua Sarda Senatore Capelli creamed with shellfish (lobster and red shrimp): creamy, balanced, and rich in flavour. Gran Trionfo di Crustacei del Mediterraneo alla Catalana: a spectacular and generous dish, perfect for those who love the authentic flavours of the sea. A delicious Sardinian Vermentino paired the meal, fresh and aromatic, which perfectly complemented the dishes. To conclude, a delicious warm ravioli filled with citrus custard and basil ice cream: an original and well-executed dessert. The location is private and welcoming, the atmosphere intimate and refined. The staff was courteous and friendly, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. The dishes are of a high standard, and the quality is evident, even if the prices are a bit above average. Overall, however, it's worth it for those seeking refined seafood cuisine with a strong Sardinian identity. The house myrtle liqueur is offered at the end. Always appreciated.
