02/09/2024: We were there twice 3 years ago and now again. Great service, very tasty food and very child-friendly. Three years ago they even sent us a forgotten children's water bottle to Germany free of charge.

01/09/2024: Very nice service. We got a table in no time, even though we didn't have a reservation because the restaurant was pretty full. We had to wait some time for the food, but were informed right from the start at reception. We were able to bridge this time wonderfully with delicious wine. The food was fabulous. For me it was one of the best pizzas I've had. Many thanks to the whole Rossi&Rossi team🤗👍

16/02/2024: adoro questo posto!!!1 tutte le volte che ci vado mi pare di tornare a casa.... ci sono stato più volte per cene tradizionali sempre con riscontri SUPER Eccellenti... l'ultima volta in occasione della comunione e cresima di mio figlio si sono superati in tutto accolti in modo meraviglioso nonostante fossimo in parecchi, il servizio sempre efficiente ed attento arrivando al cibo che come sempre ha deliziato tutti..... Michele un grandissimo padrone di casa il suo staff sempre sorridente e disponibile. Ragazzi continuate così siete fantastici!!!!!

01/09/2024: Ci Siamo stati a pranzo e devo dire moooolto deludente. - Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di cozze che erano FREDDE. -2 linguine allo scoglio con pasta CRUDISSIMA e 1 piatto di mezze penne altrettanto CRUDA e IN BIANCO NONOSTANTE L’avessimo chiesta al sugo per un bimbo di 2 anni. Nonostante la nostra segnalazione al cameriere nel momento del pagamento il proprietario ha chiesto al cameriere se il tutto fosse vero.. e il cameriere ha confermato solo della pasta in bianco. Conclusione del pagamento è stato non averci fatto pagare la pasta in bianco CRUDA PER UN BAMBINO) e la stra maleducazione del proprietario.

09/08/2024: I was a guest of the Golden Eagle for just one night, personally I found in this place what I wanted most: the beauty of the lake and the tranquility to free the mind. First of all, all the staff are kind, thoughtful and attentive to the guest's needs. The hotel has 20 rooms so everything is on a human scale. I chose the lake view solution and it was a wonderful treat. Comfortable bed and two types of pillow. (At the moment there is carpet but some rooms have been modernised). The swimming pool is very well looked after with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas where I spent pleasant moments. The highlight of the hotel is certainly the terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with the Sirmione skyline in front. In the evening everything becomes a nativity scene with the lights that line the view of the lake. The cuisine was excellent for both lunch and dinner... they told me that the chef is from Puglia and yes!! Really good! For breakfast you can choose anything!!! Eggs cooked in all ways, sweet and savory for all tastes: cooked fruit and vegetables, fresh yoghurt or frozen yoghurt, multi-grain bread to be sliced ​​fresh or bread to toast, organic juices, organic jams but also pistachio creams, chocolate and custard! Cakes, tarts and pancakes, in short, isn't breakfast the main meal? Finally, I appreciated the interiors of the hotel, everything recalls Klimt, his colours, the golden age and his kiss. Finally, the hotel has a large free car park which is not a small thing, and a lockable bike area. I will definitely be back!

18/07/2024: Lovely place and great staff, really helpful with finding a wine and would recommend to all!! We didn’t eat but the treats brought out with the drinks were delicious and showed a lot of effort.

15/07/2024: Locale per aperitivi e ristorazione di livello elevato. Mi sono fermato in questo locale per un aperitivo, selezione di vini di livello cosi come di piatti preparati con cura e prodotti di alta qualità. Provare il prosciutto di paranegra con i crostini di pane! Prezzi adeguati. Inoltre, merita visitare l’interno del locale arredato finemente e con ricerca di dettagli architettonici di ottimo gusto!

09/07/2024: Reading other people's reviews, it seems that none of them have ever eaten a good kebab, honestly. Sorry, but failed. Tasteless meat and ingredients. The gypsy sauce is good, but it's not enough to make an entire sandwich good. Soggy piadina. However, the place is very aesthetically beautiful and the girls at the counter are kind and quick.

29/05/2024: It's a lovely spot to enjoy some craftbeer. This is probably more of a locals pub. However, as tourists, i felt very welcome. Staff are fluent in English, and the beers are from across Europe. If you're in desenzano and looking for craft beer, this is your stop.

15/06/2024: Anche oggi pranzo al Gin Gin! Sempre ottimo e sempre pieno !Menù a 15€ con primo secondo contorno acqua vino e caffè! Luca e il suo staff ogni giorno numero 1! oggi coniglio e polenta buonissimo e per primo linguine con gamberi zucchine e dragoncello buonissime! Bravissimi !

20/05/2024: Ottima selezione di piatti anche sfiziosi per un pranzo a prezzo fisso. Cibo ottimo, servizio veloce, gentilezza e cortesia. Un po' fuori mano, forse, se si viene da Desenzano centro, ma dopo un pranzo tanto abbondante, una bella passeggiata sul lungo lago fa solo bene e aiuta a digerire!

23/08/2024: No, it's not a 4 star.... Structure to which they tried to do maintenance without satisfactory results, furniture repainted and even badly, old and damaged doors. The bathroom with rusty or broken accessories. The exterior, like the interior, is not in excellent health, as is the entrance with wooden tiles that are stuck every now and then. We had a room with a terrace from which we could enjoy an excellent view of the lake, ruined by the neglect of the exterior: gutters with weeds inside, or broken down and eaten by rust. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired as does that of the terrace, which for 5 days we had a pack of cigarettes that were not ours on the floor.... The fantastic breakfast that everyone describes perhaps because at home they are used to eating old, dry stuff. Inedible bacon reheated and reheated day after day. We counted the same 5 slices of dried cooked ham for 5 days which no one had the courage to eat. If you don't eat croissants or various junk it's difficult to find something decent. The cleaning ladies woke us up every morning at 7am, slamming stuff, doors and garbage bags. Maybe they were in a hurry to clean the rooms?... Absurd, I've never seen anything like that. The only positive notes are the location, and the kindness of the staff in the hall, lounge and pool who have always been kind and helpful. This is certainly not enough to fill the great gap that separates them from a 4 star hotel.....
