07/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la Cresima di mio figlio a inizio maggio e ci siamo trovati molto bene, sia come cucina, sia come ambiente; abbiamo pranzato sotto il portico perchè il tempo era buono. Piatti tipici, ma con un tocco di originalità e vino di loro produzione di tutto rispetto. Servizio eccellente e grande disponibilità dei gestori nel venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. 06/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato presso la cascina per festeggiare un compleanno. La sig.ra Valeria ci ha seguito per l’organizzazione con attenzione e gentilezza. Il menù si è rivelato buonissimo, così come la torta millefoglie ordinata per l’occasione. Un plauso anche a tutto il personale di sala, che si è dimostrato gentile e accogliente. Ci torneremo!

22/04/2025: Personale gentile ma….. prezzo alto per la qualità dei prodotti (coperto 3 euro, acqua da 75 4 euro,caffè 2 euro, pizze dai 12 ai 15). Pizza salata e stopposa. Secondo me è un ottimo ristorante per turisti, ma per noi italiani decisamente no. Mi dispiace perché tempo fa si mangiava meglio.

19/04/2025: Prenotato con the fork 3 settimane prima di Pasquetta. Due giorni prima chiamo per confermare e mi dicono che non sono in grado di gestire la prenotazione a causa del meteo instabile. Significa che il posto dentro è garantito a chi non prenota con the fork? Il disagio è altissimo a due giorni per 11 persone e la qualità dell’esperienza di un ristorante parte dalla prenotazione, non dal momento in cui siedi a tavola. Il PROPRIETARIO predilige le prenotazioni non da the fork, ma non si preoccupa di rifiutarle per cui lascia in sospeso con annessa sorpresina per l’ex potenziale cliente. Sottolineo che non c’era nessuno sconto sulla prenotazione, ho utilizzato the fork solo per evitare lo sbatti di fare una chiamata. SCONSIGLIO IL RISTORANTE SENZA NEMMENO AVERLO PROVATO PER LA PRIMA VOLTA IN VITA MIA

Senza leggere nessuna recensione decidiamo di cenare in questo locale.accogliente e piena di calore.accolti da Armando ottimo padrone di casa attento ai propri clienti ma tutto questo passa in secondo piano perché il cibo è ottimo prodotti freschissimi ottimo ragù di lago e gli altri primi pochi piatti ma lavorati con maestria consigliato a tutti ah! Anche perché il prezzo è ottimo più che giusto forse anche meno di quello che vale

24/02/2025: Che dire, abbiamo provato la pizza a mezzogiorno consapevole che non avessi fatto una buona scelta e in effetti ho confermato la mia supposizione, proprio una pizza turistica. Anche il dolce nonostante fosse stato decantato come un prodotto casalingo non meritava. Personale abbastanza gentile e prezzo nella media ma considerando la qualità il voto finale è scarso.

27/05/2025: Stanchi e affamati ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante, che di zen ha solo il nome. Qualità dei piatti parecchio scarda, il servizio pessimo. Tanta confusione, i camerieri girano tra i tavoli alla ricerca di quello giusto, servizio lento, tanta gente si alzava e se ne andava per l’attesa tra una portata e l’altra. Avevamo già ordinato e mangiato il dolce e sono arrivati altri piatti. Non lo consiglio.

12/01/2025: Negative experience. I enter the bar to buy a bottle of sparkling water for my 8 year old son. I approach the bar counter asking for a bottle of sparkling water and a gentleman (perhaps the owner) tells me I can take it from the fridge. I pay, I take the bottle in my hand but it was frozen, it is very cold outside and being for an 8 year old child I ask if they kindly have some water at room temperature. The gentleman kindly takes a bottle from me that he had behind the counter, so I put the cold one in the fridge and go out. I see that the bottle is a little crushed (it is not under pressure as carbonated bottles usually are). I unscrew the cap and I don't feel the seal breaking (as if the bottle had already been opened, but it was nice and full). I take a sip because I wasn't convinced, I drink another to confirm and then I realize that there is no bubbles. It doesn't even taste like sparkling water. I then go back into the bar and try to explain what happened to the gentleman who had served me a minute earlier. Therefore asking for the bottle to be replaced with one that does not have this problem. The gentleman's answer is: 1 It's not possible! 2 the water is carbonated 3 the water we sell is this (meaning it was effervescent because it was a San Pellegrino, but the one they sell has a nice FRIZZANTE wording on the front of the label). A customer next to me intervenes by pointing out to the gentleman that the bottle actually says FRIZZANTE and not effervescent. At this point the gentleman "with a lot of rudeness" takes out 1.50 euros from the cash register and telling me "I don't have time to waste on a bottle of water worth 1.50 euros, take the money and leave the water", puts the money down over the counter. I insist on having my sparkling and non-carbonated water and he replies that if I want I can take water from the fridge. To avoid having to continue arguing with those who are deafer than those who don't want to hear and also out of respect for the other customers and workers who have nothing to do with the manners of the gentleman who was at the checkout, I take the bottle from the fridge and open it. in front of him, I taste it and it is very sparkling and not effervescent "as the gentleman at the checkout kept repeating", who practically continued to doubt what I was telling him. So I leave the bar with the cold water that I DIDN'T want, NERVOUS after a peaceful day spent in Desenzano and I have to make my son drink the frozen water when it's 3 degrees outside. Reading the reviews of other customers I see that it is still a bar appreciated by the majority of customers and this can only please me. But my experience for a 1.50 bottle of water was disastrous and I will certainly never return to this place again. To the gentleman who was at the checkout, I remind you that every drop makes the sea and you should have more humility and respect towards a customer who is pointing out that there is a problem (even for one euro and 50). If he's tired of the job he does, maybe it's better to let the others work who, for the short time I was there, seemed to have totally different ways than him. He can only learn from them, primarily good manners. Finally, I underline that I also work in contact with people and I have never dreamed of managing one of my clients like this, even one of those who had only spent 1.50 euros. Greetings.

08/04/2025: Truly special place, it feels like taking a leap into the past! The environment is pleasant, clean. The service is attentive and friendly. The burgers are special! The meat is of good quality as are all the ingredients used. Praise for the chips: crunchy, fragrant and not greasy. Highly recommended!

28/04/2025: Place chosen almost by chance which turned out to be a jewel of friendliness and good food. Thin pizza with light dough, french fries exactly how I like them: thin and small similar to those you could make at home by replicating french fries. The girl who served us was very kind and courteous, helping us to happily end a beautiful day in Desenzano.

13/11/2024: Pranzoto in questo ristorante un pranzo fermandoci mentre ci facevamo una passeggiata a Desenzano. Locale carino che di affaccia sul lago, personame molto gentile, cucina molto buona. Fanno pure la pizza ma noi abbiamo optato per antipasti e primi di carne e pesce. Direi piatti molto buoni, presentati bene. Consigliato e se torniamo a Desenzano ci torneremo magari per la pizza anche se la cucina era ottima

25/11/2024: I pass by by chance for coffee after lunch with my colleague, we were there for work... unfortunately I didn't have cash and I had to pay 2.90 with the card. The owner makes me pay and as I'm leaving I hear "this one pays 2.90 euros with the card", annoyed. I would like to specify a couple of things: first of all, paying with the POS is a RIGHT of every citizen, however much it may annoy the merchant. Secondly, I am a paid worker and every penny of mine ends up straight in the current account and I don't always have the possibility of withdrawing cash. Rude like few others, but I pretended nothing happened when I left because I am more polite than this man. Plus, the coffee also sucked.
