21/09/2025: Located a little ways down a back street, you can enjoy a quiet meal. They serve rare ingredients and everything was delicious.

20/09/2025: A - at times - extraordinary experience when it comes to food. Since we're open to anything, we tried a few things. Unfortunately, the standard dishes: duck breast and lamb chops, were a bit overcooked and rather unspectacular. Perhaps our expectations were too high?

02/10/2025: Unassuming from the outside, inside you receive a very friendly welcome and are shown to your seat. Very friendly staff. You are not immediately rushed to order, but have plenty of time to study the menu. We opted for pizza. Very large pizza, bigger than the plate, thin crispy base that isn't drowned in tomato sauce. Plenty of toppings. Overall, our first visit was excellent and it won't be the last. The menu is very extensive; you have to try everything. Excellent value for money. As for what they say, Italy (especially Lake Garda) is no longer something Germans can afford (I can't hear it anymore). In Germany we would have easily paid €15 more for what we ordered, including tip.

22/11/2025: It was recommended to us by friends at the nearby 20th-century WWII museum across the street. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is just steps from the lake. Convenient parking is also suitable for those with walking difficulties. The food is good at prices in line with competitors; we'll be back in the summer to eat outside. Recommended

16/11/2025: I'd been wanting to eat at this tavern for a couple of years. I'm a good eater and a decent cook. As I passed this tavern in the center of Desenzano, I always smelled the inviting aroma of good food, and finally, on November 10th, I managed to go for lunch. There were three of us, and I chose the place to have lunch. Those with me trusted my instincts, and I wasn't wrong. I was greeted with a warm welcome. A beautiful young woman with long black hair and Asian features greeted me with a smile and sat me down even though I hadn't booked. While waiting for the other diners to arrive, I perused the menu and found many tempting options. In the end, when the others arrived, we chose the wrong carbonara; I chose the garlic pasta, while the other person chose the shin. Everything was truly as I'd always imagined, excellent quality. The dishes were simple, but simplicity always pays off, especially when they're of excellent quality and well-prepared. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and warm, and the place is well-attended. I sincerely recommend it and will return, hoping to find the same warm welcome, culinary offerings, and quality at a good value that is so often lacking elsewhere, especially in Desenzano. I wanted to write this review, as I told the owner, because those who deserve it deserve it.

16/11/2025: A traditional inn in Desenzano's historic center. Quality food made with local ingredients. Truly friendly staff and fast service. Great prices for the quality of the food. The only drawback is that the atmosphere is a bit noisy.

25/10/2025: When my friend and I were staying in Desenzano in June, Al Fattore quickly became our go-to for dinner. It stood out amoungst the other more generic and tourist-trappy restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly, efficient and flexible, which coupled with delicious and very well priced food and drinks (the €5 Aperol was the favourite) made for a great experience. They were very accomodating even when busy and never rushed us for a clear table, we stayed until closing a few times. Enjoyed ourselves very much, and we hope to be back! Thankyou!

05/10/2025: We spent 7 days in Desenzano and were there every day! Try everything; it's truly delicious! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Orietta always recommended the most delicious things to us and is a real heart! In summary: Very tasty, fresh, affordable, and the people are simply wonderful.

27/10/2025: The location on Lake Garda is beautiful, quiet and charming, but this tranquility can be disturbed by the attitudes of some staff members, if you're close to them. Chatting and joking is fine, but some over-the-top behavior is just not to your liking.

21/10/2025: A lovely place for a little time-out. Easy detour and good parking right down to the beach. Refreshing experience.

30/11/2025: A very well-stocked supermarket with a wide selection of products. The parking spaces directly in front of the store are particularly convenient, making shopping much easier. Overall, a thoroughly positive shopping experience.

17/11/2025: Terrible customer relations, or at least those they apparently don't like. Today, around 11:45 a.m., I went shopping: 1 liter of milk, 1/2 kg of yogurt, 2 mini pizzas, a ragù, and a ready-made pasta dish. This is to say that the weight wasn't that much. I take a paper bag, put the groceries in, lift the bag, and it breaks on the checkout, in front of the cashier; the latter pretends nothing has happened. I ask for another one of those eco-friendly bags that she charges me for and that one promptly breaks too. Now, a little attention to the customer, I think they'd want to give us a free bag after one broke right at the checkout, seems like the least they could do.

05/10/2025: A four-star hotel that could also be a five-star, everything perfect. The room was wonderful, quiet, and had a view of the lake—a wonderful view, that's very important. The breakfast was lacking in everything, from savory to sweet, super rich. It's just a shame about the season... we'll definitely be back.

04/10/2025: Fabulous place in Desenzano, fantastic rooms with panoramic terraces from which you can appreciate the fantastic Lake Garda, just a few steps from the center... Accuracy... cleanliness, welcoming staff... free parking on site, possibility of a summer restaurant and swimming pool where you can magically spend your holidays or weekends ❤️

01/11/2025: What did we eat?! The best sushi of our lives! The pistachio and Venere rice one? The bomb. The lemon one? Insanely fresh. And can we talk about the steamed bread with condensed milk? A sweet cloud that embraces your soul. The super friendly man at the counter made us feel at home. We left happy, full, and wanting to come back tomorrow. Sushi Fu, you won us over!

18/10/2025: A truly well-maintained place with friendly and professional staff, good food, and excellent service. The more traditional Chinese starters are also very good, like grilled noodles with vegetables, fish, and egg, or steamed ravioli. The edamame, wakame, and tartare are also very tasty. Hot rolls are also very good, even though they don't make temaki (seaweed cones). I recommend it if you're in the Desenzano area!

23/11/2025: Excellent lunch at this osteria overlooking Lake Garda. Tasty first courses with fresh homemade pasta, and for our second course we shared a stew with polenta. Everything was delicious, with a rustic and genuine service suited to the osteria setting. Quality ingredients were used. Fairly priced.

16/11/2025: Excellent lunch on a rainy day on the lake! We stumbled upon it by chance and were completely satisfied with the traditional dishes, made with truly excellent quality ingredients! The friendly host makes you feel right at home. The polenta with guanciale is incredible! The tagliatelle with fresh, seasonal mushrooms was delicious!
