On the city's main street, if the menu weren't displayed outside, it would look more like a bar than a restaurant, although sitting outside allows you to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the world go by.
It's a historic establishment with a beautiful refrigerated counter displaying typical local products.
Seats are limited, and the walls of the dining room are adorned with numerous bottles of wine, desserts, and pasta.
The menu, where meat dominates, isn't extensive, a testament to the freshness of the ingredients.
Pici with white Chianina beef ragù and pappardelle with wild boar ragù were our first choices; both were delicious and the portions were generous.
For main courses, we had two tagliata (a thin slice of beef), one with mushrooms and one with green peppercorns, and again, the choice was spot on.
I have a comment about the quantity, but not the quality, of the roast potatoes served as a side dish; they were truly meager.
The waitress was kind and professional.
The price was fair for what we ate.

On vacation in Arezzo, wandering the streets of the historic center and looking for a place to eat, we stopped at this place I wasn't familiar with....
What a lovely surprise.... A pleasant and elegant atmosphere, excellent background music for relaxing....
Friendly and professional table service.
The food: the bici with Chianina white sauce and the pappardelle with wild boar sauce are unforgettable 🐗....
All washed down with an excellent local craft beer 🍺....
Affordable and not excessive prices.
A place suitable for all ages, including families.
Whether you're in Arezzo on vacation or just passing through, this place is worth a stop.
Definitely worth returning to.
Congratulations

A lovely spot to settle down for a while when you are in Arezzo. We visited the Christmas market this week and strolled through the beautifully decorated center. At Taste, we enjoyed hot chocolate with a pinch of cinnamon (literally rich and creamy chocolate in liquid form!), delicious homemade fig and nut cake, and homemade panettone and tiramisu. You can also go there for a tasty charcuterie board with wine and cocktails. But we prefer to save that for the summer.
We would love to come back here!

A small but charming restaurant in the center of Arezzo. The menu is limited, but sufficient to showcase Tuscan classics: pici, sliced Chianina beef, peloso, and chicken liver crostini. The ingredients are excellent. A good selection of wines. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the city.

I had lunch in Arezzo and discovered Taste Wine and Food, a small, welcoming place in the heart of the city, full of character. Here, the flavors truly seem to tell a story. I chose pici all'aglione, a simple yet intensely flavorful dish, evoking all the authenticity of Tuscan cuisine. I finished with an artisanal panettone accompanied by mascarpone cream, a smooth and delicious finish that made the lunch even more special.

Friendliness and friendliness accompanied by a delicious lunch.
However, asking €2.50 per person for a cover charge is excessive.

A small, very welcoming, cute, and clean place. The cured meats are delicious, and the pici with Chianina beef ragù is fabulous, nicely spiced, just the way I like it. The cheeks made our lunch a perfect end.
The pregnant waitress made us feel right at home—very good!
If we ever come back to Arezzo, we'll be back!
