23/03/2024: Overall positive and different experience than usual. Two notes: the staff is very friendly, but on a Friday evening the service was a bit slow; very good meat but prices a little high (€140 for three, but taking a bottle of wine). P.s. the cheese bread is highly recommended!

The salt briquette to finish cooking the meat is a nice idea but it does not guarantee the success of the purpose over time and therefore if you don't eat "methodically" you won't be able to cook the last pieces. Worth trying again

04/04/2024: The first time I tried the arepa, I took advice from the owner and chose the Pabellon with beef, strong but balanced flavours. Jovial and relaxed atmosphere, you can feel the passion of the owners. I will definitely come back.

24/03/2024: We usually go there for dinner when we have something to celebrate. Here you can never go wrong with the quality of the meat and the competence of the staff. It's certainly not cheap but we know that quality comes at a price in Milan.

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.
