08/08/2026: Terrible experience: slow service and total disregard for the customer ​We returned for the second time, knowing that wait times are usually long, but last night it reached the ridiculous limit: an hour's wait for two starters. ​We had ordered two different starters, specifically asking if it was possible to have them a little larger (making it clear that we would gladly pay the difference). The result after an hour: ​The portions were absolutely meager. ​They brought the exact same starter for both of us, having ordered the wrong one. ​My dish was completely missing the hazelnuts listed on the menu and instead had burnt pine nuts. ​We reported the chain of errors both to the waitress at the table and at the cashier's desk. The response? Absolute nothing. No attention, no gesture, not even an apology. ​Sloppy service and a complete inability to handle mistakes. They will definitely never see us again.

The food was really good and tasty. Decent portions. The location in Finalborgo was unparalleled. We had a really great time!

05/01/2026: We ate here for lunch in December 2025. The location behind Castel Gavone is lovely. The hostess was friendly and the food was delicious (especially the house appetizer, chestnut tagliatelle, and bonet). We'll definitely return, perhaps after a nice hike! The price was fair: appetizer, main course, dessert, and coffee were around €30-35.

16/05/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance for dinner and it was a lovely discovery: excellent food, very well prepared and tasty (borage ravioli and octopus tentacle). The welcome was more than warm: the owner even provided us with valuable information for our travel itinerary! We recommend it 👌

07/05/2026: Osteria del Cavolo is a beautiful little place in Finale Borgo, run by a lovely husband and wife who made us feel at home... we will be back, the food was very, very good.
