26/10/2025: Never again. I go to breakfast with my daughter and a friend of hers. I walk in saying good morning, and they tell me "in or out"... we're already out of time. I ask for a coffee, an estathe for the girls, a donut, and a piece of focaccia. After taking the order, 10 firefighters come in, obviously serving them first... decent coffee, then I go to pay and they charge me €13.20... you're at the finale, not Beverly Hills. €13 for a piece of invisible focaccia, 1 coffee, and 2 estathes... pitiful.
23/09/2025: A delicious, strong espresso for just €1.50 at the bar. Friendly service, and you can pay by card.

19/10/2025: Very nice hotel. Close to the beach and the sea promenade. Very hospitable owners.
02/10/2025: The location of the hotel is convenient, just a short walk from the beach, which is the only positive aspect. Unfortunately, the hygiene is absolutely unacceptable.
Every day I found hairs in my food, likely from a dog allowed in the kitchen. The rooms are supposedly cleaned daily, but hairs and other signs of poor cleaning are always left behind.
The rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is also very cramped. On top of that, the toilet cistern was leaking constantly throughout our stay. We reported it immediately, but it wasn’t fixed until the very last day.
Overall, the lack of proper hygiene, maintenance, and space made my stay very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

01/06/2025: Speed and acceptable service, shame about the pizzas as both were completely full of water and the speck was inedible due to the rind. Absolutely not recommended!
26/04/2025: It was an experience that no one should have to try, first of all we had booked for 8.30 and they gave our table to another family making us wait outside so that one could be freed inside.
Mostly this table was behind the counter and therefore lost from the others, we sat down and saw the menu which was nice but a little poor, we had to wait 40 minutes before a waiter came to take our order.
As soon as we ordered we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before they came to our table, mostly we hadn't even ordered something impossible, a plate of trofie with pesto which was missing salt, a mixed fry which they gave to another lady and 3 pizzas.

Cafe Van Gogh

22/07/2025: We komen, en vanaf nu ‘kwamen’, altijd met veel plezier bij Van Gogh. Vijftien jaar lang was dit onze vaste plek, maar vandaag was er een roodharige dame met bril die erg haar best doet om alle tafels leeg te houden. Met 12 mensen dachten we even lekker te borrelen, maar 12 mensen (goed voor een paar honderd euro) was geen optie voor deze weinig klantvriendelijke en onbeschofte dame. Kortom, vanaf nu nooit meer!! Gelukkig vonden de buren van Caffé Caviglia dit geen probleem rn werden we, zoals het hoort, met open armen ontvangen!
22/07/2025: Wij komen hier al 15 jaar en voorheen was het super maar vandaag wilde wij wat drinken met onze familie het was voor ons geen probleem om apart te zitten. Maar er was 1 vrouwelijke bediender met rood haar. Ze was echt een heks en mega onaardig we zijn direct weg gelopen. Er was heel veel plek maar niks was mogelijk. Jammer voor hen 12 drankjes gemist.

24/07/2025: Accoglienza affabile e gentile, piatti nuovi ottimi,buona la farinata di ceci, buona anche la focaccia con la mozzarella e la burrata da provare sicuramente.
29/06/2025: Esistono ancora posti in grado di offrire i sapori autentici del territorio, un rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo eccezionale ed una gentilezza e cortesia che ti fa sentite a casa. Au Gumbu è uno di questi posti, ormai sempre più rari.
Le acciughe fritte, la farinata, i pansotti, il coniglio alla ligure, l’ottima pizza al pesto (pesto della casa, squisito!), dolci e vino davvero tutto all’insegna dell’eccellenza.
Un grazie a Mara e a tutto lo staff!!!
Il panorama poi, ti infonde una pace e un relax straordinario.

10/05/2025: Abbiamo preso tutti la Pizza Margherita.
Tutte erano senza origano, si poteva mettere del basilico visto che siamo in Liguria.
A tutte mancava un minuto in più di cottura perché la mozzarella non era sciolta bene ( potrebbe essere che il forno non era in temperatura).
L'impasto potrebbe migliorare.
Nel complesso non sono rimasto contento manca qualità, almeno per quanto riguarda la pizza.
04/05/2025: Ristorante pizzeria sul lungo mare con un menu molto vario. Temevamo potesse essere un posto troppo turistico ma fra molti, in fila sul lungomare , l’ho scelto perché si presentava bene con comode poltroncine e le tanto mie adorate tovaglie, che per la cena trovo essenziali. In realtà si è rivelato anche essere ottimo per la cucina, zappetta cozze e vongole con un buonissimo sughetto e risottino allo scoglio da leccarsi i baffi. Personale gentilissimo e una buona pulizia. Torneremo.
