14/04/2026: I ordered the daily special, tuna tartare with mango, and received a tiny medallion—tasty, admittedly, but with absolutely nothing else to it, finished in two bites! And for €18, no less, with no warning to suggest ordering anything else or even to mention the minimal portion! In short, we won't be back…
08/01/2026: I was here with my family for dinner. Very nice atmosphere, delicious food, and the owner even gave us a panettone. 😊 My son ordered white pasta—not on the menu—but that was no problem. 😊 Thank you. 😀

02/02/2026: As others have pointed out, the workers' menu is reserved exclusively for those aged 0 to 100 who show up shabbily dressed and wearing boots, even if they're decades past the age of working-class. This discrimination is unacceptable, especially against those who work honestly, perhaps earning less than a worker, but show up dressed normally because they're yet to start their shift. Other restaurants in the area, where the food is excellent, allow anyone to choose the workers' menu. The starters, however, were decent; we didn't ask for anything else because we were shocked by the treatment.

23/09/2025: This place would piss on top of many other places in Turin and Milan. QUALITY! The only flaw is the licorice and sweets on display... the fizzy pacifiers are missing!! 😄😄😄 They deserve a HUNDRED for their kindness and politeness alone. I will confirm.
20/09/2025: My husband and I stopped for an aperitivo and we both had a great time. I tried a rose-flavored drink that I think was called Midnight Sunrise and I really liked it—it was light and had a bold flavor.

01/03/2026: Today I went to eat at this restaurant, where you can enjoy the typical cuisine of the Ligurian hinterland. Excellent dishes, quickly prepared. The venison ragù on the pappardelle was excellent. Fair prices.

08/01/2026: A small, elegant restaurant with a romantic atmosphere and a delightfully friendly owner. The cuisine features traditional Ligurian dishes with a slightly updated twist, excellent service, and excellent value.
02/12/2025: Small restaurant located in a "carrugietto" very close to the most famous "budello" of Alassio. Essential menu, traditional Ligurian dishes (the ones our grandmothers used to prepare for us...). Professional and courteous service. Excellent purple gnocchi with octopus and dried tomatoes, very good "ciuppin". A special mention goes to the "prescinseua" cheesecake. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back!

The food is outstanding – high-quality ingredients and classic dishes with fascinating, creative twists. On top of that, the service is superb: friendly, professional, and excellent at recommending the perfect wine. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back!
16/01/2026: Wonderful food that takes you on a journey not only through Liguria's history but also through its flavors. Thanks to the friendliness and expertise of the staff and the cuisine, we had an incredible experience. The only downside is the temperature in the dining room, both due to the excessive heat and the decision to keep the windows open, thus making the air conditioning unnecessary, but we gladly overlooked this!

20/08/2025: A place with a strong personality, thanks to Marcello. He's the owner, bartender, chef, and entertainer. Friendly, professional, and competent.
I often wonder why so many of the more fake and low-quality places on the Vado coast have packed tables, while La Botte seems to thrive on local aficionados, when it deserves more recognition.
But then again... We're in a country going astray.
