19/10/2025: High-quality food prepared impeccably, friendly and professional staff, a location chosen by these fantastic guys who have tastefully revived it, and a wide and refined selection of natural wines.
Don't be put off by the 10-minute drive from the center of Finale Ligure (a good stretch of which is on dirt road), once you've visited Valleponci, you'll understand it was worth it.
We return AT LEAST once a year because we can't live without it.
09/10/2025: A beautiful and peaceful spot near the coast – easily accessible by car bike. The place has a wonderful authentic atmosphere, and we met some amazing people there. We only had the apero, but it was excellent. I was a bit surprised that olives weren’t included, but it seems to be common in all the places we visited.

30/10/2025: Every time we vacation in Finale, we have to eat pizza here at least once. As always, everything is great. Delicious pizza, a really friendly team, and the owner is a real character. For us, the best pizzeria in Finale!
28/10/2025: Excellent food and atmosphere! This is a family-owned restaurant. The owners and waiters are extremely friendly and welcome dogs. The price is absolutely reasonable! They speak Italian and also a bit of Spanish, French and German and English.

08/04/2026: After a walk by the sea, it’s a great place to enjoy a pizza. The pizza is very tasty and the prices are absolutely fair. The staff are friendly and the food arrives quickly. If you’re staying nearby, having a pizza there is a must!

11/04/2026: A simple but very nice place. The menu offers only a few dishes, but those on the menu are very well prepared by the chef! You can taste the good quality ingredients. The only real flaw is that the dishes are lukewarm and not hot enough, a shame because they are very well made. I will definitely be back. I forgot about the nice wine list, which is increasingly difficult to find around here, so... I highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: I absolutely can't give even one star, but if I don't, it won't let me publish the review. Mixed Tuscan cold cuts covered in who knows what concoction, and we were told it was the salami coating... First, pici cacio e pepe? Watered down, precooked, overcooked, and the owner's excuse that if you want them with cream, you have to eat them in Rome, taken off the bill. Polenta and wild boar??? The stew is fine, it doesn't taste like wild boar, but the polenta??? It didn't even taste like polenta!!!! Disappointing, and I'd say not enough.

22/03/2026: The pizza and farinata were excellent, but it's a shame about the biblical wait times, which they can't even quantify. Ask how long you'll have to wait and they'll say "an informed"—but in minutes? They don't know, and they're even rude. If they immediately told you, "Look, given the orders, you'll have to wait an hour for pizza," you might choose something else. The quality of the food, however, is beyond reproach.

04/12/2025: We returned after a few years and under new management. The pizza was very good, made with excellent ingredients, and the homemade desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was a bit chilly... the stove was on, but very low. Let's just say that on a cold evening, perhaps a little warmer would have been better. The service, however, was very good. The pizzas were perhaps better than they used to be. It would be best to book, though.

03/04/2026: The best in the area, excellent pizza, courtesy and kindness of the waiters and the manager are commendable.
02/04/2026: At Pat's Pizza, I ate the meat, and rightly so. I had a tagliata with arugula and parmesan, which was truly perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. I usually never finish it, but this time was different. The service is fantastic; the staff are on point, coming to check if everything is okay, and they're quick.
I also appreciate that they replaced the plate of fries I ordered, which were dark and tasted like old oil, with a fresh batch. Well done!
I'll be back to try the pizza :)
