17/01/2026: We stopped at this restaurant during a motorcycle tour and had a truly positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the menu features a meat-based menu using high-quality ingredients, carefully prepared and presented. The service is professional and friendly, and the staff were very helpful despite our arrival as motorcyclists. Excellent value. A worthwhile place, we'll definitely be back.
12/01/2026: We went there because we couldn't find anything else in the area. It was a pleasant surprise. The place is beautiful. The food is excellent, and the waiters are up to their task. HOORAY FOR MEAT.

13/03/2026: If you're looking for a place where the ingredients are sacred and the presentation is pure poetry, make a note of this place: "A Lanterna" in Celle Ligure.
It was an experience worth sharing...the Cappon Magro is a work of art, the layering of fish and vegetables is impeccable.
Beyond the excellence of the dishes, what made the evening truly special and unforgettable was the hospitality; we were made to feel like guests of honor from the first glass to the dessert finale. THANK YOU ❤
23/02/2026: We found this restaurant by chance, but we were immediately pleasantly surprised:
The owner is a very kind woman with great attention to detail.
The food was sublimely cooked, with a mix of meat and fish to suit everyone's tastes.
They welcomed us with a small appetizer offered by the kitchen, and we finished with coffee and biscuits, which were also offered.
It took another €3 off our total bill, making us want to return the next day for lunch to enjoy a light, non-greasy fried dish.
Definitely worth a try.
Book in advance if possible, as they don't have many seats.

29/09/2025: Hello! We finally made it to this cafe. The previous two years, our visit coincided with their school holidays. The lovely employees explained the selection without speaking our language, and we without Italian. We ordered six types of ice cream and a gratta. It was delicious and exquisite. The cones were crisp and didn't get soggy from the ice cream. The interior was restrained, simple, and stylish. I loved it. Thank you so much!

01/03/2026: Sunday lunch... the place was packed, the staff were friendly... the menu was excellent: chestnut balls with pesto, potatoes, and green beans, Osiglia sausage... bonet, Barbaresco Nebbiolo... everything was excellent! We'll be back during truffle season...

The staff was friendly and helpful, but we had a long wait to order (only one of the four people present could take our orders). A heat lamp for the outside area in spring would be appreciated!
05/04/2026: What a fantastic evening! The food was excellent, the service superb, and the atmosphere really pleasant. The waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive. You immediately feel at ease. Overall, a truly wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: I tried the bonito carpaccio and a first course of black garlic linguine (?) with shrimp tartare, which was almost nonexistent. Both the carpaccio and the pasta were rather bland, and the portions were really small. It's frustrating to leave a restaurant still hungry.
The only positive note: the marinara pizza, which we ordered precisely to satisfy our remaining hunger. The prices, however, are decidedly high for what's on offer and the cuisine's output. The quality of the fish is evident, and it's a shame it isn't highlighted, because overall the dishes lack flavor.

08/10/2025: I've been here more than once for yogurt and crepes, both sweet and savory. Excellent products, complemented by the friendly and helpful owners.
I highly recommend it to everyone, especially for its easy-to-reach location, located in the main square of Alassio's janitor's house, and just a few meters from the pier.
