17/03/2026: Delicious food, great views and charming environment. Seems family owned and they have great seafood options and a variety of local wines. Be aware of the working hours as they close during the afternoon and reopen around 19:00 for dinner. Also reasonable prices. We had a lovely dinner with views of the sunset, highly recommend

17/03/2026: We visited this restaurant in early January during a vacation in beautiful Corniglia. It was a wonderful experience; the food was delicious and expertly prepared. The staff was qualified and very professional. A wonderful discovery in an area full of wine bars that have distorted the cuisine and flavors of traditional Ligurian cuisine. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: Came here for dinner. Too dark to see the view but had some absolutely phenomenal fresh anchovies, pesto gnocchi, and sea bream, at a pretty reasonable price. Would recommend.

28/10/2025: Very nice location with great food and friendly staff. Ate there twice where we had Fritto Misto and Insalatta di Polpo con patate and grilled prawns. Definitely recommend! If the weather allows it would suggest eating outside.

02/11/2025: Beware, unruly and aggressively violent staff! After climbing the stairs from the station, we passed this little restaurant. It looked nice and cozy, but afterward, we deeply regretted sitting there. We had ordered various drinks and food, and we had ordered water for our two small dogs. When we gave our dogs water, we were attacked by a waiter. He said we were dirty people and that dogs aren't equal to people. In other words, the dogs deserve tap water instead of bottled water. We then asked for the bill and canceled our food. The waiter wanted to argue with us, which I didn't want to do. While paying, I briefly left the table. Then the waiter decided to curse my wife and spit at her. I decided to say something, and the waiter then came after me with a broken bottle and attacked me with it. The waiter used force and tore off some jewelry. Fortunately, the owner intervened afterward, and the waitress was dismissed. Because we're "unfortunately" tourists, the police won't do much about this. The owner offered us free food, but we declined for our safety and that of the dogs. We didn't get our money back, and no compensation was given for my broken jewelry. Unfortunately, the waitress in question wasn't fired; this was due to a lack of staff. That's why I say, beware of this restaurant!

26/02/2026: Delicious focaccia & pizza! We got a pesto pizza focaccia to share as a snack/appetizer before getting dinner. Great, fresh flavors & prices!

The food was delicious, with well-balanced flavors and dishes that are truly enjoyable from beginning to end. The attention to detail is evident. Furthermore, the ambiance is spectacular, perfect for relaxing and having a good time, whether with a partner or friends. It's one of those places that feels special and different, where you not only eat well, but also create a memorable experience. Without a doubt, highly recommended if you're looking for good food, attentive service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger.

31/03/2026: UPDATE MARCH 2026 This year, breakfast was very uninspired: during our visit, there was no natural yogurt, and scrambled eggs weren't available until 8:30 a.m. APRIL 2025 Breakfast offered croissants (sometimes chocolate croissants), scrambled eggs (very good), fresh orange juice, and green tea, among other things. Some things take some getting used to, for example, when there's only fruit yogurt with the muesli and no plain yogurt. Delicious latte macchiato—sometimes you get a café latte instead (without milk foam), and sometimes the service is a bit sleepy.

22/02/2026: The owner is rude and unsuitable for the type of service they're trying to offer. Personally, the Barni wine shop is just a distant memory. If she feels like a queen, she's definitely in the wrong profession. Humility and customer service should be top priority! I personally don't recommend it. Take note of the numerous reviews about her and change your attitude from arrogant to kind!

01/02/2026: A nice place for lunch, with really good food and a pleasant open kitchen. It's a shame the owner (I think) turns the dining room into a local market. We would have liked a calmer, less chaotic atmosphere. Prices are moderately high. Still, recommended for the carefully prepared dishes.

09/11/2025: Unfair low rating (well, for the food which is fresh and delicious!), mostly reflecting a minimalist conception of service. Too bad..

26/10/2025: This place is very appealing with an updated and cozy interior (they did have great seating outside but it was too chilly). We ordered the spaghetti with a mixture of shellfish and it was delicious!! The bread was like sourdough bread and great for dipping or shopping up your sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, we will be back.
