30/11/2025: The menu is only in Italian. The pizza is frozen, the seafood too, and the pasta is decent. It's a disgrace that anyone in Italy serves frozen pizza in a restaurant. It's better to remove it from the menu than sell it, but as the manager said, we're in a small Italian town, which probably meant that selling frozen food from the supermarket is acceptable here. Such low reviews are justified. The wine was good.

05/12/2025: Terrible. The food quality is okay, but the staff... forgets about the food!! Today we ordered two menus with nuggets and Grinch socks. There were no nuggets, and we had to go inside to get the socks. DID THEY SEEMED SHOCKED AFTER ALL?!! Unfortunately, we later realized the nuggets, some chips from the menu, and a water and salsa were missing. Highly not recommended. I would only go there as a last resort.

04/12/2025: Ample free parking. I've always had a good experience, but recently everything has gotten worse except the food. The place is very dirty, the garbage cans are overflowing, and the service is slow. The staff is unenthusiastic and unsmiling. The food remains reasonably good. Update 4/12/2025 I went here tonight because I was in the area to grab a quick bite before other commitments, even though I wasn't entirely satisfied with the last visit. Unfortunately, it's gotten completely worse. The smell of sewerage as soon as I walked in the door (I had to dine outside and only stopped because I was in a hurry, and I would have waited longer elsewhere). I don't actually know if there were fewer staff than usual tonight, or perhaps most of the young people (I think they were newly hired) weren't able to manage the flow of work, but nothing was working as it should... Table service suspended, endless wait to pay at the register, kiosk out of order and/or missing paper, endless wait to pick up food at the counter (20 minutes), dirty place, several customers making mistakes regarding their orders, shouting, agitation, and nervousness among employees. The food was adequate, and the staff were fairly friendly, although truly stressed and completely confused. Furthermore, no kitchen staff handling food wore gloves, despite the law (read on the company website).

19/11/2025: The sliced ​​beef was surprisingly well-done, even overcooked. All the stars were for the lasagna. Both dishes were small portions, the smallest I've had in Italy; we were quite full after eating at other restaurants. The waitress's attitude was truly terrible. She stood by the table watching us less than three minutes after giving us the menu, as if she was rushing us to order. The food and water were served rather roughly; not very forcefully, but it felt like they were just placed there. I said "bill please" twice, but received no response. I followed her to the cashier to pay, because we still needed to eat ramen afterwards to feel full.

27/10/2025: They served truly awful chicken! They even charged an absurd price. I've eaten at several restaurants in Italy, and this was the only one that left something to be desired.

18/11/2025: Botteghin is a place you'll always want to return to! Not only because it's open late and the atmosphere is truly pleasant (soft lighting and bottles everywhere), but also because the food is truly delicious! The cured meats, unique in their kind, are truly excellent, as are the cheeses! The focaccias in various flavors are delicious, and so are the desserts! I recommend the platter: for €18, you get a large plate of excellent cured meats, two varieties of cheese, and two pieces of vegetable tart, all accompanied by focaccia! The wine cellar is very well-stocked. Since 2025, they've been stocking a selection of French cheeses, which, paired with fruit compotes, are unmissable. Botteghin is also the only place in the area that stays open late, so you'll find it open even if you get hungry late at night! I recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, as seating is limited!

01/12/2025: What a shame, the fast food restaurant closes at 11pm and the staff had taken away all the desserts by 8:30pm.

25/04/2025: Cucina ligure tradizionale e con qualche tocco creativo, realizzata con eccezionali materie prime del territorio, servita da personale gentile ed ospitale. Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta ed un ripasso di cucina ligure (venendo noi da Roma) che avevamo desiderato e che ci ha lasciati veramente più che soddisfatti. Ringraziamo lo staff per la cortesia ed il sorriso e per tramandare ancora una delle migliori cucine tradizionali d'Italia. Raccomando il pesto: una crema profumatissima, incredibilmente senz'aglio, ed il dolce a base di polenta al limone con granella di nocciole tostate.

22/04/2025: Ho avuto modo di pranzare a Pasqua con la mia famiglia presso la Locanda Luigina. Il personale è molto gentile e l'utilizzo di ingredienti locali porta ad degustare piatti veramente piacevoli al palato e anche alla vista. Il prezzo è proporzionato al menu proposto. Lo consiglio.

22/07/2025: Muy buena comida Recomiendo la pasta pesto - sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el hombre de pie fuera del restaurante con sus gatos tratando de que las mujeres vayan a su lugar diciéndoles que puede cocinar para ellos. Realmente no me sentí el más seguro. . Fue un poco incómodo porque se quedó al lado de la cena al aire libre todo el tiempo.

22/10/2025: Me and my wife got two different dishes, Pasta carbonara and Seafood salad. My carbonara was overcooked and the seafood was frozen, microwaved and just put on the plate. The waiter asked us how the food was and I told her about the pasta, saying that it still had a good taste because I didn't want to be rude. She said that Carbonara is not specific to the region and if we want to eat good Carbonara we should go to Rome. How about you stop making food that you don't know how to make? I should also mention that we ordered this food because the focaccia on display was looking horrible. I wish you the best, close shop or change the whole staff.

18/08/2025: A very simple atmosphere, a good selection of pizzas, and reasonable prices. For those who aren't regulars, it might be difficult to find at first glance, as it's on the first floor and reached by a flight of stairs that aren't particularly obvious.
