23/08/2025: A truly welcoming establishment, with a very friendly owner who explained the various amenities in the area to us. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was very generous for a 2-star hotel. Excellent parking, and there's even a spare one (in case the first one is full). The hotel itself also has a bar with a tobacconist and a ticket office for the bus that takes you down to Framura and various nearby places. There's also an excellent restaurant below the hotel with divine food. We'll be back.

30/10/2025: An excellent gastronomic experience. Each course is prepared with great attention to detail and tastefully presented. The service is courteous and prompt, and the atmosphere is refined yet welcoming. A must-visit for those who love good food.

24/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a great time. The fried fish was excellent, the gnocchi and seafood pasta were delicious, and the desserts were also very popular. Thank you for welcoming us even without a reservation!

05/11/2025: My husband and I ate here on our first night in Monterosso on October 27, 2025 and we both agreed that it was the best food we have ever had. We ordered the baked sea bass and it was beyond amazing. It was simple as far as preparation, but the flavors were complex and the fish cooked to perfection. The young man who deboned our fish at table side was so very sweet and quite good at his task. If we ever are lucky enough to return to Italy, Ristorante Ciak will be on our must visit list.

31/10/2025: We stayed in Monterosso twice over the past few years and ate at Ciak every night. The food, service and atmosphere is amazing.

06/11/2025: I went to this bar for breakfast after a blood test. I was feeling sick and felt faint. I asked the guy if he had blueberry juice, but he said no. HE WAS SUPER KIND and made me a smoothie, telling me to come to the counter. There was this girl on the balcony who was super nervous and was getting her orders wrong. While I was politely informing her, having mistakenly said a smoothie or blueberry juice, she raised her voice and treated me terribly in front of everyone. The very kind guy arrived, brought me the smoothie and said, "Here it is, it's ready." I turned around and saw a man there who smiled at me and said, "How can you do that?" I replied, "I have no patience anymore," and she continued to treat me terribly in front of all the customers, using a loud voice and in that mean way. I understand the NO day BUT TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS IN SUCH A POLITE PLACE WHERE YOU EAT WELL EVEN BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN THERE AND I THINK IT WILL BE THE LAST.

17/09/2025: Not 101 different flavors, but I did enjoy some super delicious ice cream. The price of €2.75 for two scoops is cheap by Dutch standards. Scoops with truly intense flavors.

27/05/2025: Entrare a La Lucerna di Ferro è come immergersi in una sinfonia gastronomica dove ogni piatto è una nota che vibra dolcemente nell’aria, accompagnando la cena con grazia e intensità. Qui la cucina non si limita a soddisfare il palato: racconta, emoziona, avvolge. Si inizia con gli antipasti, un vero e proprio omaggio alla tradizione Ligure-Toscana. Ogni assaggio è un’eco autentica del territorio, capace di evocare storie di confine, di colline che scendono al mare e di ricette custodite nel tempo. È un inizio che accarezza, preparando il palato con eleganza e calore. Il primo piatto è una vera rivelazione: gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare sono eseguiti con maestria, in un equilibrio perfetto tra la sapidità del mare e la delicatezza della pasta al dente. 12/07/2025: Gran selección de pizzas, contamos 68 en el menú. Servicio amable y decoración sin pretensiones. Menos costoso que muchos otros lugares en Levanto, ya que está justo fuera del centro histórico. Popular entre los lugareños y la comida es buena.

11/06/2025: Après avoir crapahuté dans les montagnes, ça fait du bien d'aller manger ici. Lieu simple et rassurant, on s'y sent à l'aise, tout le monde est gentil et les pizzas sont très bonnes, pour un tarif contenu.

07/10/2025: A distinguished restaurant, Moroccan food and Italian pizza of the highest standards, an elegant and clean place. I have never found a place as distinguished as this one. The service is excellent and elegant. I recommend everyone to visit and experience Moroccan cuisine again.

25/10/2025: The hotel is nice, but there were some flaws in the room, including the bathroom door. The lady at reception who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. She let us reserve the room at the Booking price, which obviously included taxes. But no, in the morning at checkout, her colleague added €18 to our bill for the tourist tax.

24/09/2025: Extremely friendly staff, beautiful and functional room with sea view, meticulously cleaned, quality bath products, welcome cocktail, rooftop terrace with spectacular views, excellent breakfast with quality products, excellent value, a five-minute walk from both Fiascherino beaches and a ten-minute walk to Tellaro. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Very disappointed. Prices are too high. You can't afford to pay 15 for a pizza, as if it were a gourmet pizzeria. Spending 110 euros for 5 people, just with water and 2 desserts, is a real rip-off that wasn't worth it. Very kind staff and cleanliness too. We're in the Cisa variant, not in Portovenere. Lower the prices on all fronts. In my opinion.
