25/03/2026: I took two guests for a mussel lunch, but their expectations were completely dashed. The spaghetti with mussels was disjointed: a simple garlic and oil pasta with shells on top, lacking any consistency or seafood flavor. The stuffed mussels, however, were unbalanced: the flavor of the mortadella and stale bread completely overpowered that of the molluscs. The icing on the cake was the owner's lack of professionalism, who even dared to comment on a stain on the tablecloth. The price was decidedly excessive for the quality. Highly not recommended.

18/03/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming, creating an unpleasant atmosphere right from the start. As for the food, the mussels were truly disappointing: very small and with an unpleasant odor that left one wondering about their freshness. The overall quality wasn't up to expectations, and one suspects they might have been cheaply sourced, perhaps even from abroad. Overall, an experience I wouldn't recommend and am unlikely to repeat.

Edit post reply: not a single plate of pasta, a piece of bread, or a dessert. On the menu, not even the numbers or symbols to help you understand which allergens are present in each dish. So much for 30 years and the focus on inclusion!

01/11/2025: Embarrassing. Halloween night, they knew they'd packed the place but didn't divide the tables. The menu was limited, yet the dishes ordered were "sold out" almost immediately. Terrible dishes, by the way. Some people didn't eat the entire evening. The restaurant paid for these mistakes by covering most of the bills. The owner, who we all wanted to meet, left halfway through the evening. I won't mention the "murder mystery dinner," which is better. After dinner, we ate yogurt downtown. I'm still hungry, but I'm still laughing. Well done! Change careers.

31/10/2025: One star because 0 stars aren't allowed. We were given an à la carte menu, but it only offered two options compared to those available, and in the end, they didn't even have those. The options we ordered, which they said were sold out, were notified to us after a 2-hour wait, and they even forgot to let us know. The service was also terrible; the waiters seemed to be there by chance. Recommended for those with time to waste and money to throw away.

02/03/2026: Il Galletto is a historic trattoria in Sarzana, just steps from the Firmafede fortress, making it a convenient choice for those visiting this charming town. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent: the trattoria offers both meat and seafood dishes, with the option of a tasting menu and generous portions. The homemade tortelli with ragù are excellent, as are the sliced ​​beef served hot on stone, and the sgabei, dry and accompanied by excellent cured meats. The staff is friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. It was truly a pleasant discovery. We will definitely be back!

10/04/2026: Staff was rude and disrespectful. I was having a conversation in line with another customer about the food since they had been there the past few days, and somehow that led to me getting yelled at and berated in Italian. They wasted my time just to tell me it was “closed,” but apparently only for me.

10/04/2026: A variety of fried fish and other fried goods in cones for takeaway. We ordered the fritto misto (mixed fried fish) and onion rings cones. Both cones made for a great snack and came with dipping sauces. We took the cones to a viewpoint part of town and ate the food on a bench. It can get a bit messy, but overall, we enjoyed the food!

28/12/2025: A very unique, traditional place! You can eat all you want, panigacci. The staff is very friendly.

08/04/2026: At 2:44 PM I went to the piadina shop on Via Prione and ordered a roll of Mediterranean piadina. The clerk told me it was no longer available, even though it was on the menu. So I reordered another roll with ham, mozzarella, and lettuce, as stated on the receipt. Instead, the roll arrived, fine, but with lettuce and mushrooms inside instead. If I was allergic, I didn't know who to tell. It's not the first time; the same clerk has spoken rudely to me, first confusing the piadina with the roll, and then rudely turning on the customers, who were often crowded.

15/04/2026: My review concerns the hotel parking lot for use by non-guests. It's shameful that it's being used as a parking lot. There's no way to enter or exit on foot except via the vehicle ramp. The exit system is terrible; the reader to open the gate isn't accessible from the car. There's no room to maneuver. The price is ridiculously expensive. Awful.
