04/11/2025: Great spot for breakfast!! As a family of non-vegans, we loved everything we got here. The smoothie bowl was super light and refreshing - a nice break from all the pastries we had been eating. The owners were the loveliest people we met on the whole trip. It was very clear that they truly care about their customers.

16/10/2025: What a pleasure to find this place in Riomaggiore! We had all our breakfasts there. The welcome is extremely warm, I loved the yogurt bowl and the many choices of fresh fruit for the smoothies 🌱

We were both delighted by the quality of the ingredients, the perfect balance of flavors, and the meticulous presentation. Everything was executed flawlessly. The wine was excellent, the explanations clear and engaging, and to top it all off, we were offered a complimentary digestif—a particularly thoughtful touch. A five-star experience, without a single negative comment. We will gladly return.

10/01/2026: We arrived by chance, and even though the restaurant was full, they managed to seat us and let us eat. The food was friendly and very good. Finally, you could taste the fish without the garlicky smells overpowering the aroma.

01/01/2026: We had dinner on the 31st. The food was good, especially the semifreddo, which was excellent. Regarding the gluten-free service, everything was excellent and well-maintained. The only downside of the evening was that after paying for the set menu, which was a fair price, I had to pay a cover charge, which we thought was included. And most importantly, I had to pay a small glass of prosecco at the beginning of the evening, which I thought should have been free. We drank mineral water throughout the evening. :(

14/10/2025: A hidden gem in the Levante hills. La Zita is always a sure thing: good food, homely service, and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat a wealth of traditional products, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is so homey, it almost feels like entering a private home and being welcomed as part of the family. The highlight of the menu is the exceptional first courses, followed by the Ligurian-style rabbit, very juicy and not at all gamey. To top off the meal, the bill is incredibly low, in contrast to the rest of the restaurant. Excellent value for money.

26/02/2026: I visited La Taverna Del Metallo in La Spezia, Italy, and it was one of those places that exceeded all my expectations. It's a bar-restaurant that combines a medieval tavern-style ambiance with rock and metal music in the background, creating a unique atmosphere that you won't find just anywhere. The place has a very distinctive decor, with candlelight and wooden tables that give it a cozy and special touch, ideal for spending the evening enjoying good music, beer, and food. The menu offers traditional Italian and local dishes—such as ravioli, polenta, and pork specialties—accompanied by an excellent selection of craft beers and local wines. The service was friendly and attentive, always with a smile, and the atmosphere was so pleasant that every moment there was fun and relaxed. The place tends to get crowded, so it's worth booking in advance, but it's totally worth it. In short, if you want to spend a different kind of night with good food, memorable beers, and an original atmosphere, this place is highly recommended. 🍻✨

09/11/2025: Very friendly and the owner speaks French. There are small outdoor seating areas which is great, the cocktails are very good, and the small bruschetta are perfectly made. The shop selling local products is fantastic.

05/01/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday. The food was excellent, with quality ingredients, fast service even though it was crowded, and a good wine selection (we ordered two different bottles). The atmosphere, in my opinion, was a bit noisy, but clean.

28/02/2026: This place is frankly the worst restaurant i’ve been to in the last year. Why is the carbonara scrambles and why are they running out of ingredients for a scampi pasta when the menu only has 10 dishes. Pink Benny changed management and is not the old one anymore. The waiter tried to tell us everyone here eats scrambled carbonara…but we are in italy…

23/10/2025: Picturesque location let down by poor service. Visited for lunch and tried to explain to the elderly waiter (with the help of Google translate) that we do not speak Italian and we would do our best to communicate in Italian. From there the level of service plummeted. We ordered scampi and a pesto spaghetti dish. The later did not arrive with the former and eventually we asked about the missing meal. A few words were spoken between two waiters and 15 minutes later, the spaghetti dish eventually arrived with no apology or explanation. We had walked passed several other restaurants along the harbour front and chosen Elettra, in part, due to the linen table cloths expecting commensurate service levels. We were sadly mistaken and left with the feeling that the waiter did not want to serve tourists.

09/02/2026: We went with low expectations, as in the Cinque Terre villages we got the impression that many places are very tourist-oriented, which often affects the value for money. However, this place surprised us very pleasantly. We ordered two special focaccias, and they were delicious, freshly made to order. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation were evident. The rest of the food also looked excellent. A very pleasant surprise.

31/12/2025: For a simple yet quality lunch without breaking the bank. Excellent pasta and focaccia filled with fresh ingredients. Pasta with various toppings (pesto, tomato, basil, and fresh tuna) and focaccia with seared tuna and caramelized onions are also available. You can sample local wines and an excellent tiramisu. If you want to dine at a table in a casual setting without spending a fortune, this is the perfect option. It's located just outside the city center, near the train station.
